    It's definitely a crazy set of photos. I was thinking about how those photos have very little grey area to speculate on. They are quite clear and have the creature close up to the camera. This to me means that this is either 100% real and a photo of some kind of ape-like creature, or 100% a hoax meant to trick people. This photo doesn't allow for the speculation of "it's just a bear on it's hind legs far off in the distance" or something like that.

It's getting old seeing people talk about our stories, get them completely wrong, then perpetuate this "boogeyman" theme. Don't talk about what you don't understand, please. If you live near a rez, seek out an elder to tell you the stories, and explain the lessons behind them. Google and Wikipedia can't do that.

      @@margauxf4321 How accurate are the google/wikipedia of Gugwe, Genoskwa, Chiye-Tanka, and the other sasquatch-like creatures to the tales through Native American legend? I'd really love for a response so I can know what wrong information I could have heard. From my knowledge through the sources, Gugwe is a species of bigfoot (same say it could actually be that of Dogman), that are said to be extremely aggressive towards humans and either have baboon or canine-like snouts. I'm not sure which tribe has this in legend, but it's said to be reported by tribes over by the far northern states-Canada. Genoskwa is another aggressive sasquatch said to actually raid villages/camps and take off with women and children, presumably to eat. They are said to roll around in mud and later with rocks so they had a "armored" body. I believe they are from Iroquois legend. Then, the last one I know of, Chiye-Tanka. Its said to be docile. They are from the Lakota and Dakota tribes, who see it as a nature spirit or sacred messenger.

      the bigfoot-ufo connection is interesting. I've seen a lot of people use it as an explanation for the lack of physical evidence of bigfoot. I.e, they're actually aliens, or hybrids, or interdimensional beings. I think there is a certain type of person who gets drawn into the unexplained and see a fair amount of cross pollination as a result.

    • @1TakoyakiStore
      @1TakoyakiStore Год назад +4

      I'm actually less interested in the Bigfoot-UFO connection (although there is interesting discussions to be had there), and more interested in the Bigfoot-Dogman connection as apparently there's a river in the central part of the US where Bigfoot reports are common. Then at a certain part of the river the Bigfoot reports completely stop but Dogman reports start and continue north of that point. I'm a bit hazy on the details as it was on an older episode of Sasquatch Chronicles, but I believe the river goes from Oklahoma to Texas?

The never ending parallels that ancient cultures have with each other even though they never made contact. Like pyramids and other structures that are built with the same astrological markers being emphasized in the build. Ancient folklore and oral traditions that parallel like ancient flood, giants,advanced beings from the sky, the "God" that these ancient cultures worshiped that they all described as a feathered serpent. • @BeigeFrequency
      @BeigeFrequency  Год назад +29

      It's such an anomaly, given what virtually every other image of a supposed bigfoot looks like. Grainy, out of focus, shot from hundreds of feet away, or obscured by trees etc. And the fact that we haven't have any one come forth in 20+ years says something. If nothing else, it was a really well orchestrated hoax.

      Personally I think it could be real. Like the idea of a decently intelligent bipedal creature that spends much of its time hiding form humans isn’t too far fetched in my book. I think the problem is when you go overboard in either direction. Wether it be becoming a squatcher (yes that’s what some call themselves) or wether it being that you aren’t willing table any evidence due to a misguided belief that “we already know everything”. Keep an open mid but not so open your Brian falls out.

    • @William-Morey-Baker
      @William-Morey-Baker Год назад

      ^ the only new species being discovered are either subtle variations on well documented species or things from the dead sea.... we don't know everything, but we sure as hell know all major mammals... the cryptid community is hilarious with their "keep an open mind" approach to life.
      also, it looks like your "brian" is already falling out....

    • @thedukeofchutney468
      @thedukeofchutney468 Год назад +6

      @William-Morey-Baker Firstly don’t put me as part of the cryptid community as I am not. Secondly I find it funny how people like you are so arrogant and trusting of humanity’s knowledge. You seem to be the sort of person who’d tell Copernicus that we know the earth is at the center of the universe and that it is stupid to even consider otherwise. You don’t know what you don’t know. As a final aside, it’s rather interesting just how furiously set in their opinions skeptics are. Like I get some of the true believers (a group that I am not a part of) being somewhat fanatical in their beliefs but it didn’t make much sense with the skeptics despite it just being as prevalent with them.

      Yeah. The think about cryptids is even if they're most likely not real, it is still fun to imagine what they could be. What if they were real? What is possible explanation aside from misidentification? etc

      @@BeigeFrequency Yep. Love it. Looking forward for your next video. If not misidentification, then I would say pretty much all other cases would be covered by someone performing intentional fraud (such as the footage you shown that was clearly the gait of a human being wearing some fur costume walking, I think it was for the guy going for the grant).
