This isn’t my idea, so I’m just borrowing it from another person, but everyone that was on the dynasty should be able to come onto this amazing podcast and speak unfiltered and give their own take/views on everything in addition to their favorite game. I’d love to see all of those patriot players from the 1st & 2nd part of the dynasty, bring on Scott Pioli, bring back Ernie Adams several times, who is an absolute treasure to the patriot organization, and Bill Belichick’s secret weapon.
This is incredibly rare to see Ernie in the media. Both the Dynasty and this one. Ernie is tighter lipped with the media than Bill. He could give lessons to the CIA.
Ernie is so good. Please have him on at any time. "They have the wrong stuff on their feet this is going to be an ass kicking " funniest thing said on the podcast!
@Ac0ustics0ul Dude those throwbacks are so awesome I'm not a New England guy I'm a lions fan (Die hard Michigan Fan too I LOVE Tommy!) I wish they would go back to those full-time they always sucked when they had those they had those when I was a kid but still they are so awesome.
I swear there were like 5 straight Patriots vs Colts games that were played in bad weather. It was always cold or raining or snowing when Peyton was in town the early years. There was one game where there was no snow in the forecast but just as the game started it starts to lightly snow. the next handful of games vs the Colts were all in the road in Indy from like 2005-2007.
Ernie was the Patriots secret weapon! Ernie has so many fun stories that are historic and true, that I could listen to him forever! He is such a character!
The Raiders would've ran away with the game had it been clear skies. Their offense was a different animal compared to the Rams which was a quick passing game as opposed to the Rams big play passing game. Pats defense wouldn't have been able to run with them and Tom wasn't ready and didn't have the skill players to get into a shootout. Bill's scheme didn't match up well with west coast style offenses. They got their asses kicked by the Raiders the following year.
I mean, Oakland had a good offensive team, but calling them a different animal when the Rams had the highest scoring offense and more playmakers. Looked like the Pats kept up with the Rams offense pretty much all game.
@@MrB1gPants What I meant by "different animal" as I mentioned in my post was that they were a quick passing team as opposed to the Rams going for the kill shot which were long developing plays. I wasn't saying they were better. Also, they had a 10 point lead in the 4th in the snow which would've been more had it been clear skies. Jerry Rice, Tim Brown and Jerry Porter were a hell of a trio. Their O-line was massive. It would've been a bad matchup which Adams admitted. They hung around the Rams in the Super Bowl because they game planned for what they didn't do in the first matchup. The Rams were stubborn and didn't adjust until the 4th quarter. Had they ran the no huddle majority of the game where they scored 2 consecutive TD's, they would've won. 2007 Pats team was stubborn like the 2001 Rams. Brady also had a severe ankle sprain.
@heybrowhatup that's a fair assessment. Would be interesting to see how the game would play out if not for the blizzard. Against the Rams in the Super Bowl, I'm curious to see how the game would have been played if that Fumble return didn't get called back due to a penalty.
@@MrB1gPants Had the fumble return penalty not happened, the game probably would've been out of reach for the Rams. Their comeback in the 4th would've been garbage time.

Is Mr. Kraft gonna sign Tommy to a 1yr. deal w/ a player option for the second...#3 pick does not need to be a QB but an Edge Rusher or Marvin Harrison Jr.
Except that they didn't. They got stuffed on 2nd and 2, Then let Brady drive down the field twice to set up Vinatieri for some of the toughest field goals in NFL history.

@AllUpOns13 how so? Didn't the patriots play on that very same field? Didn't the opposing team also have access to the weather report as well as the ability to fly their team to a snowy location to practice? Not to mention knowledge of the proper shoes for snow? I can’t get over how good Ernie was on this episode! Bring him back once a season, at lest!

That Titans game was the 59-0 game. Brady threw 5 TDS in the 2nd Quarter. NFL Record.

Ernie is one of a kind. I found out about him when he talked about Julio Jones scouting report prior to SB 51
Hope whichever QB we draft he takes us back to the Super Bowl

They weren't ready for the snow, with the exception they won minus the tuck rule.

The tuck rule didn't win or lose the game. It wasn't the last play of the game. Raiders choked.
“Always played well in the snow” talk about the snowplow game. Epitome of a cheat team.
