With intermediary French and beginners Spanish, years ago, I tried to find a friend in Milan. The housekeeper answered the phone and in Italian told me the Signor had gone to Rome. I understood every word, well, all 4 words, to my great surprise.
And, so, now time to hear where all this came from 2000 years ago. Sounds pretty authentic to me.

It’s cute, but it lacks any rendition of phonemic vowel length in the words.
Vowel length was mightily important to them when talking (eg. ‘Ōs’ means ‘mouth’ while ‘Os’ means bone - ‘Rosa’ means ‘the rose’ while Rosā means ‘with a/the rose’).

Pedicabo means a little more than a "fuck you", the dad ought to verbera the filiolum a little harder! But speaking more seriously, this was a nice effort. The pronunciation isn't perfect and the macrons are all over the place in the subtitles. In fact they're everywhere. Also what's up with "sinc" and "tempor"? Are you making the e in "tempore" quiet for some reason? Also I wouldn't use "sic" as a reply to someone calling out to you. Sic can be taken as a yes if someone is asking a question like, are you going to the forum soon? You can reply sic meaning "thus" or "in that manner". When someone asks for your attention a simple "quid" could be used, or even "quid velis".
