I don’t have quite all the resources you have, but between Woodworker Anonymous and you, I will be doing this shortly. I often find great ideas on RUclips and then mod to my situation. You two guys have inspired me. No more sockets on snap rails or in blow molded cases!
If you are on Facebook and join our French Cleat group, a member named Chuck took my socket idea and made his own using his 3d printer and fit to his sockets. It turned out really cool.
OMG. I've been actively struggling with how to deal with my sockets for the last couple years. This is ***perfect***. I've got a set of Husky sockets, but if they don't fit your designs I'll enthusiastically buy the Tekton to make this work with minimal fuss. Incredible design, and thanks so much.
I haven’t posted the design cause it is kind of a mess, but if you want the Fusion 360 file I’m happy to send it. You can then customize it to your socket set size, depending on how much experience you have with Fusion 360.
KUDOS! I just got many needed items as a Christmas gift, but haven't been able to figure out organized storage. What an awesome idea. It will take a bit (am a beginner), but your system is my goal! Thank you for sharing!
@@CyberBobCity Oh and I will be subscribing. Haven't had a chance to fully check you out, but hope once in a while you post a few beginner's how-to. Appreciate you!
I’ve had a few requests but I just dont think people would be willing to pay enough to make it worth it. There is like $50 of cost just in the magnets alone!
@@CyberBobCity throw a number at me :-) I’d try it myself, but just don’t have the time. Plus, the vinyl labels look amazing. Maybe just sell the vinyl 🤷🏼♂️
It’s Prusament PLA Lime Green. It’s pretty close, I haven’t put them right next to each other to compare. I think it’s a little darker than Ryobi green
I don’t have a printer. I don’t have a desire to buy one at 79yoa. Why not as a side business don’t you produce the parts and sell them. You might be surprised at the number of people out there like me that would like to share in the use of your great tool ideas.
I am working on opening an Etsy store for my French cleat locks and a few of my other designs, but I'm not sure I really plan on selling these socket holders there. I have maybe gotten 4 or 5 requests total asking to buy these. But with the plastic, time on the 3d printer, the wood, the magnets, the labels, and the labor, the price to make these worthwhile to sell would be really high. There is $60 to $70 in magnets alone. If you want to email me your information at bob@cyberbobcity.com I can contact you in case I consider it. Maybe I just make a batch of 5 or 10 sets for the people that reached out and want them. Glad you like the design!!
Very good work!👍 unfortunately I have to adapt the parts, also from your holders, to my cliet. Would you provide the f3d (fusion 360) or step? Keep it up and stay healthy!👍🍀🤕😷🦠👊💪🏼💐🤩☘️ Gruß Michael

Hi Bob, the quality and thought you put into these are amazing. Could I commission you to make me a set?

Email me at bob@cyberbobcity.com and I’ll try to get you a number. Thanks for the kudos on the design!
Awesome build, they look great! I need to get a 3D printer. What printer do you have?
An Original Prusa Mini, an Ender 3 Pro, and a Geeetech A20M. The Prusa Mini is my favorite though.

3D printing and woodworking, awesome stuff! Where did you find filament so close to Ryobi green?

Show!!!
Thank you!
