The main problem is about base price increasing, even if subsidy is credited to customer bank account still companies can increase base price so no use of it.
Fame 2 should focus on regulating prices.

I bought rv300 for 93070 inr by November 2020 they told 27k as fame 2 subsidy and they told 1 vehicle per aadhar card.. they told actual price is 1.20 lakh

Sir the whole intention is to delay in an indirect method, in hindi if I could say, 'Dikhane ke daanth alag, Chabhane ke daanth alag'.. it's a hand in hand game... just imagine losing huge income coming from petrol and diesel EVERYDAY for the central and state exchequer everyday due to increase in electric... ?? This one seed of thought shows my economics a decrease of 50% income to both even if electric market grows by 10% to 18% in a year..🙃🤪 Truth is really very bitter..

we dont want touch screen, bluetooth connect, we need electric vehicles with simple analog meter battery indicator, . Just bcoz it has touch screen and bluetooth the prices are hyped.
Low speed (25km/hour with 250w motor) doesn't have touch screen, bluetooth etc. Still prices are high. I roughly calculated the manufacturing cost of low speed electric scooter. (250W motor with max speed of 25 KM/hour, 20AH lithium battery) It didn't go beyond Rs.30K. I went to Okinawa showroom & checked the price. It was Rs.64,000. Company will get approximately Rs.30K profit+Subsidy from Govt.
Subscription charge is a main charge on customer !!!!!!
The manufacturing cost is still very less, even if they add all these smart things to it. They are almost getting the raw material for free, because of central government subsidies.
We need simply mileage and speed nothing else
The smart things are electronics, they won't add up a lot to cost.

This Fame-II subsidy is useless and it's profit for manufacturers as you said. I said useless because, think for a minute, if you are decided to purchase that 1L bike, you are definitely gonna buy it, rather than seeing that subsidy.
what I thought is, instead of giving Subsidy as they are looting. The government should invest that money in Charging stations etc..
people are looking into charging infrastructure when they are buying EV's not Onetime Subsidy. If there are enough charging stations then people would Definitely buy EV's without thinking .

Even Revolt has done that rv400 price increased by 10k and rv300 increased by 4,5k in Ahmedabad, Gujarat

What this man is saying should be thoroughly studied by Central Crime Department and the facts or complaints analysised. To believe that the entire Indian populace is being taken for a ride on this issue sounds a bit naiive.
Likewise the Tax department should reveal their taxation strategy and reveal to the general public the extent of the tax collected per vehicle.
This is a wonderful of issue for leading News papers in India to dwell upon and uncover if really the customers are cheated and the depth of the fraud.

Biggest cheater is Ather Electric, Not only their profit margin is high, they are getting Fame2 subsidy also charging hefty monthly subscription.
True, Ather becomes too much greedy after getting funds from hero motocop and similar companies. They discontinued their Ather 450 model within a year, without any reason, Which is most value for money. And launches 450x with expensive price tag .... Ppls hardly able to set their mind for above 1 lakh 450. And they launched the more expensive model. If they cant continue their one model more thn a year. Thn how can we trust such companies.

This same issue there in tractor subsidy also... where some dealer won't reduce the cost of vehicles,they just enjoy the government money...
Do one little thing buddy ask the central or concerned govt to give the subsidy to the customers only when they show Registration Certificate of bike.
You can help customers by giving the exact price of each vehicle it will help them to identify the fraudulent brands.
Ather went from 99k to 1.59k. Seriously wtf is happening ? No improvement and nothing has changed. Let’s boycott these kinda companies and stop buying their motorcycles. Let them understand the actual meaning of business and service.

If we compare Ather showroom price of 2019..it was around 1.4lac
And now the same version they launched foe 1.94 lac
After fame 2.it going around 1.74..so it's too expensive. Govt should look into the matter and audit properly so..we can expect that this scheme will beneficial to the consumers and manufacturers' sales also increase.

Companies have hiked the prices of their vehicles in order to take advantage of these subsidies. Even if the subsidy is directly given to your account, you still have to pay their hiked prices.

Brother, what you are telling is correct. I was closely monitoring this for the past 2 years. If the consumers has to be beniifited, the subsidy has to be credited directly to the consumers bank account, after submitting the purchase bill online like LPG subsidy so that the government can track the sale and actual beneficiaries.

Good that you have notified govt. Through mail. Maybe many of us already noticed this issue but whom to complain as it simply looks scheme created to benefit manufacturer as other govt scheme deposits money into direct beneficiary account & here they give it to manufacture it all looks like scam. Action require on electric manufacturer.
Nothing new... this is happening in all cases where govt gives subsidy to company and not to end user.
Subsidy by government should be in the form of buy back of EVs after 5 years from customers.
Initially for 5 - 7 years government should provide options to customers to buy from other countries with zero import duty.
The PMAY subsidy is the same cheating game.
Company's like L&T should be supported in this EV market, who have respect for nation, they will create same plantations after their industrial lease is over.
It's very hard to trust anyone today most are trying to be too much profit oriented there are very few like you who raise their voices for common people well done keep it up.

Government should stop FAME ii subsidy and instead use the money to open a tender for setting up charging stations. If charging stations are available, it will increase confidence in people to buy EVs. EV demand will increase and manufacturers will cater to the demand competitively. This will also be more trackable - like setup 10000 charging stations across the country by 2022. You can track and monitor this project more easily.

So don't buy electric vehicles till this issue is addressed and solved. Buying electric vehicles now is a bad idea. Technology is changing rapidly so better product will come within 3-4 years. So waiting for a better product is worth the money and time.

In countries United states these subsidies are very transparent. And already for some manufacturers like Tesla.. these subsidies quota is already fulfilled so customers are also opting for different makes like Hyundai etc..
But in our country it will take time because of these bulshit bureaucrats and politicians dont know that they should only give subsidies directly to clients who opt for it..

Your video is based on wrong perception. This subsidy is for the manufacturer not for customers because development of electric vehicles requires costly R&D. Your argument is also faulty on the ground that if a company has established manufacturing facility that company will try to sell their products in large numbers to earn larger amount of subsidy. If they Jack up the price they will not be able to sell their products and loose subsidy. You are not giving us any data. Simply talking in air to mislead potential buyers and to sabotage the scheme. Govt. do not give money without checking these aspects.

I think the battery and motor capacity compare with other manufacturers ,they maybe honest with subsidy.
Electric motor vehicle are the simplest and cheapest to manufacture. Only expensive thing is battery and its already cheaper now. Still EVs are expensive for no reason. They aren't offering much.
Instead of giving subsidy to company they should give it into customer's acc. Like they give gass subsidy.

There’s a news that FAME India scheme is so stringent, they’re either capped due to requirements and manufacturers themselves are not getting the subsidy.
