Italian is beautifully soulful👌
Italian is the most sensual and sexy
Latin, the language of ancient Rome, is the mother of Romance languages, which are an evolved Latin, they are the most beautiful languages in the world, and heirs to the legacy of ancient Rome.

I’m a native Spanish speaker and understood at least 3 words in each of the other 5 languages. If you know one of these languages it would probably be easy to learn the other 5 languages. When I was in high school I took French and it was pretty easy for me to learn it because Spanish and French are both from the family of romance languages.

no one considers romanian a latin language, weird culture, weird people, weird language, you slava
Romanian is my most favourite out of all of the romance languages,
(Italian is a close second) because Romanian is basically Italian with a slavic accent
@Scott Wilson Pure Romanian has not slavic accent. You probable heard Moldavians from Basarabia speaking. They do have a slavic accent being part of URSS untill 1991. If you listen to Romanian spoken in Wallachia, which is where Bucharest is we have that latin accent where we have that latin accent. For example the word "a zice/zicere" which comes from lat dicere. With slavic accent would be probable pronounced without the first e, something like zicre. We pronounce that e very clearly:
zi ce re. Even the lady from the video has no pure Wallachian speech. To listen the most latin Romanian see this video: ruclips.net/video/tCL0gDFJ1PE/видео.html She has the latin accent and that's how Romanian is spoken in Wallachia. It is not as pronounced as italian accent, however Romanian sounds less slavic than European Portuguese. Listen to a sample text from European Portuguese, they really pronounce their consonants.
Me Romania
I felt the same about Romanian, looks a cool language
@@mihaifloares2503 actually Romanian sounds Latin but it also sounds a bit slavic, afterall its sourounded by slavic countries to its borders, except Hungary..

Wow same
Greetings! I love all romance languages! And english,of course! Ha!Ha!
But English is from the Germanic group.
As a Portuguese I can say that:
I understood Spanish perfectly because, let's face it, all Portuguese people understand Spanish, even if they don't really speak it, they can easily understand it because it's quite similar in a lot of ways therefore even if you don't speak it you can understand it, at least from what I can see here in Portugal.
As for French, I could more or less understand it although some stuff got a bit lost when I tried to understand so I would say 60% which is the absolute minimum for someone to understand the language more or less well.
Regarding Italian, ok, in this case I kind of have an advantage because I studied Italian here in faculty and I went until the last level which was C2.2 although I consider myself more of a C1 speaker therefore Italian is pretty much a language of mine and it's quite easy to learn, it's one of the easiest ones when it comes to the Romance languages, and it's the most beautiful one out of all of them, that's for sure!
Now, Romanian! Ok, forget it! I can barely understand what they're saying! I like the language, it's a very beautiful one, but for me it sounds a lot like a weird mix of Slavic and Romance and that's why I can barely what they're saying, plus the woman in the video talked really fast to me! I would say I only got 10% of what they were saying, the written language is not too difficult but the oral language is really hard to understand without having learned it, I only understood the word "different" and one thing or another there. But it's a really beautiful language, I wouldn't mind starting to learn it at one point in my life!
And finally, Catalan! Wow! I'm quite surprised! I understood quite a lot of what they were saying! It sounds quite similar to Portuguese and to Italian so it was incredibly easy for me to understand what they were saying! I would say at least 75% of what they said I could understand perfectly! Wow! This was the biggest surprise for me!
The Romance languages really have a lot of variety in them!
By the way, I didn't include Portuguese here because I'm a native speaker of the language therefore I don't need to say that I understand 100% of it, you understand it already, but I can say that I can understand Brazilian Portuguese quite well except for a few words that we don't use that they do but in a conversation between a Portuguese and a Brazilian we just explain to each other some words we might not understand from the two varieties and that's it, it's quite easy for us to understand each other except if we're talking about some highly localised area in which the accents and the lexicon might be a bit strange to us. I can also say that as an European Portuguese speaker I sometimes have a hard time understanding some people from São Miguel in Azores because some of them sound a lot like French people when they speak but with some good attention I can understand them.
As a Romanian I understood 100% of the Romanian sample even the English part :))
What about the rest of the Romance languages?
@@dannyvalentine8904 I can't have an opinión because I lived in Spain 4 years, in Italy one year, French I learn tò school and portuguese is very similar with Spanish so I can speak all of them

I'm from Italy and I'm really surprised how much understood of Spanish , almost everything ; and I've never study it; our are very close language.
There are 300 million people who speak French as an official language, not 80 million
Native!
What is really funny and I cannot understand why is that the Romanians are able to understand very easy Italian, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Italian at least is one that anybody can understand, Spanish is the second. Why this is not applying also vice-versa ? That is a question for 1000 points !
Tbh, Portuguese is very difficult to understand for me as a Romanian & Catalan is almist as hard. I am familiar with French since school, otherwise it would prob be 3rd...
I think are just more used to hearing the Western Latin languages - and they don't question theur belonging. So they understand more.
With Romanian, it's something new & there's prob a tendency to "other" it.
Romanians by default, as in the ones without extensive education, only understand the words which are similar in all these languages and even in English, most of which come from Latin or Greek or are neologisms in all those languages. Also there is the fact that in Romania films on cinema and especially on TV are NOT translated but subtitled so people can HEAR the original language being spoken. Humans tend to memorize what they often hear and see.
@@GholaTleilaxu but why that is not happening with other languages, remember Romania is surrounded by slavic people but no romanian is able to understand that language. What I read lately was a interesting theory saying that most of the latin languages have evolved from original latin, Romania instead evolved slowly and most of the romanian terms are like in old latin and that could be an answer of why romanians are able to understand very easy italian and spanish especially.
@@Burebistaruler Granted, their historical background does have a contribution but I think it's mostly the education, especially primary education and the non-isolation from other foreign languages in the past and nowadays. As opposed to the Spaniards, Italians or even Brits for example.
Because romanian has 14% slavic words that the others cannot understand.
