How to pair PS5 controller without cable

To connect your PS5 controller without a cable hold down the Playstation button and the button in the upper left.
Then navigate the menu with a working controller, IF you don’t have a working controller and are desperate, you can put the USB of a keyboard into the PS5. With the keyboard, while the PS5 controller is flashing like this, go to settings, accessories, and select the controller.
SO if you don’t have a cable, but want to hook your PS5 controller to your console, you can use a PC keyboard to navigate the menus.

Thanks I paid $80 for a new controller and it doesn’t come with a $2 cable and label doesn’t even say it on the box. Absolute BS! Luckily I had a wireless keyboard and it saved me another trip.

I have no original cable, and in the secure mode i couldn't connect any of my controllers, so i was almost forced to play with one of 3 stick drift controllers 😂😂
And your trick didn't worked at the beginning, i was then just holding aggressively those two buttons, suddenly it blinked same like on the video, so i could choose the controller finally below "recognized devices" under the section "Bluetooth devices/add-ons" - sorry, i translate it with my own words 😅

Is there a way to do this from the initial screen upon turning on the system?
I have two ps5s and connected one of the controllers to my other system to play a cross screen game with a friend and now bc the usb port doesn’t work in the other system I can’t get inside the ps5 at all because the controller won’t connect back to the original system?
