Caruso what can you say that has not been said before a thousand times over my jazz drum teacher would listen to Caruso and have this blasting in his drum studio before my lessons at that time as a young teen I could not appreciate now I do we went from gene Krupa to buddy rich and I combined all of this into my background once again Anne thank you in all sincerity for rekindling my love for music number one fan boom

      Ray You're welcome!
There's a special treat in the hopper: 1938 BG with Harry and Ziggy on trumpet,
Jess on piano, Dave pounding the skins, Adrian and Bud on sax,
and another Goodman on bass. In a few hours....

Wow! What a performance, with all those sensitive nuances picked up by the recording horn!

Not bad for 119 years old!

There's clearly two taps at the beginning to start the performance.

@@AnnieVanAuken Got them. Its also worth running a record right to the end, when you may hear muffled conversation or the sound of instruments being put down. On this one the word "Stop" can be heard toward the end of the 'outro' Also at the end of the intro, but less clear: ruclips.net/video/xMYuqsRWd7M/видео.htmlsi=_9QNdf9UiCqMZQU_ Unusual for an electric record, where signal lights could have been used.
