Hi Michael, appreciate that this is a few years old now....but wondered if you set the standard G400 to 13.5 degrees, would it almost be the same as the stretch at 13 in terms of spin, launch and distance?? What are your thoughts? Cheers, Daniel
@michaelnewtongolf you hit this 3 wood EXTREMELY smooth off the deck ... I am curious how you compare it to your 2 iron utility irons ... especially if it is adjustable
Hi guys, I know this is an old club now but I’m still looking for the ping G 400 stretch and would be very grateful if you could steer me in the direction of where I might be able to purchase one. Unfortunately I’m located in the Middle East but I will have to rely on one of the big delivery guys to assist me once I find the club itself. Look forward to any help
Another good review, did you ever have a chance to hit the G Stretch? I wish we could have seen you with the Ping Tour shaft and saw the numbers. Thanks
We measured this STRETCH compared to the standard and we found no difference face-to-tail even to the millimeter. BUT the height of the face was taller on the stretch, which typically means lower spin.

I have this club, but everything comes out like a stinger - off the tee and on the ground. Not sure how to correct that.

im more of an iron man so would always choose the utility iron as i can hit all shapes of ball flight with it.

Do you always hit a big draw? Or is there a little offset on the club?
yes draw is my general shape, deffo no offset on this club
3300 spin a little high for a 13* 3w no? Shaft not optimized for you perhaps.
Zachary Milos yeh mentioned that Tour shaft would probably suit me best

Also interesting that you carried the standard G400 3w further in your "vs. M2" video. Maybe just a different day = different swing?
interesting as does look slightly bigger but possibly the depth of face giving that impression.

+C. Adams the old 2 wood was 12* but yeh as mentioned in the video it's like the old style 2 wood.
With the CG placement, some of these current day 13* 3 woods are launching as high or higher as the 16* 4 woods of yesteryear
