Pete i really enjoyed this vid. Talking out course management, showing practice on course, and hearing you go through the same as us mortal golfers...it makes this game more relatable to you. Now stop hitting your 3 wood farther than my best drive
Great vid Peter. Felt like we were right there with you. If you can do a few more like this... We can learn from the visualization and execution. Awesome
Pete.... more of these vlogs please. Very informative on course management which is something I struggle with sometimes. Great to see another golfers perspective on how you should approach each shot and preparation before each swing 👍
Great format. Excellent to see what sort of decisions a pro makes. Sometimes it feels like I'm just making random club decisions without thinking it through. Nice to actually hear the 'internal dialog' that goes on.
Loved this 👍 I like to play alone once and awhile and it always to turns into a combination practice/experiment session. I'm always talking to myself out loud which I love to do. I sort of become 3 people when I play alone. The player, the caddie and the instructor. Lots of fun 😂 As for me, I never pick a landing spot when I pitch around the green. Never turns out as planned. I just pick my wedge (usually a 52 unless high loft is required) and just feel it into the hole. Find my self getting a lot closer to the hole with the odd chip in. Anyways I really love these types of videos where you play alone and let the viewers into your head with regards to what your trying to do. Please feel free to make to make as many of these as you want 😊
I also love to talk to myself during golf, sometimes even when other people are around me :-) Picking a landing spot is so important. Try it on the practice green. Then grade yourself on two things. 1. Execution: Did I play the chip/pitch I wanted? 2. Judgement: Did I pick the correct landing spot for the shot I intended to play? 2x Yes = gimme range :-) It helped me so much. It's structure, on top of which I can put feel. It's very successful.
I really enjoyed this video Pete. It was good to see the different approaches you practice and just hearing your thoughts before each shot. How does the ping 3 wood compare to the cobra f8 wood?
Great video Pete. Nice to see a slight variation to the normal course vlogs and a great insight into the thinking around shots and sneaking in some course management we can all benefit from 👍🏌️⛳️
Cracking vlog. I find it really useful when you talk through your course management and justify your shot selection. Being on your own really helps the video in those aspects. Keep up the good work!
Brilliant vlog Peter; course management tips are always welcome. Of late I've tended to carry my bag with a half set of clubs and mixing the selection of clubs. Haven't dropped the driver for a 3-wood as yet but will probably give it a go. Nothing to lose and possibly a lot to learn / gain. Cheers
It's still very soft under foot in Manchester / Lancashire. I played Ellesmere @ Worsley today and that was the same. Great video Peter, looking forward to part two.
Not sure if you've got a new camera Pete, but the clarity is great. Good camera angles to show the different swing positions, also. Excellent course vlog thanks.
Love the format of the vlogs, its interesting to hear you think thru your shot and strategies. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on where to position the ball in the tee box. I noticed you teed up with the marker between you and the ball. That would be too distracting for me!
Nice seeing how you would play my home course. Or should I say how my home course should be played. Considering how much rain it has got it’s in really good shape. Need some consistent dry weather for a few weeks and will be 👌
I love it when clubs are tested on the course. Yes you can't get accurate data because of the infinite variables but it is nice to see how it performs.
Great video. There is a lot most of us can learn from better course management and seeing videos like this helps. Be cool if you could do a video with say a 10 - 15 handicapper with you giving them advice on what to do as they get in very different positions on the course than someone like you does.
I've started playing golf again after a 12 year hiatus. At my local Oxfam I purchased a set of Dunlop clubs with full set of irons,driver,3&5 woods and two putters,a stand bag, balls, tees etc for £25! Withington is my local course and I've played twice in two days and these clubs are shite to be brutally honest. The driver is ok but there's no power in the club and the irons are extremely poor. No distance or height in the irons so I'm playing a 5 iron when I'd usually play a 7 or 8!! Got the bug for the game back big time!! Going to buy some decent clubs, I've seen some Callaway irons. Great video. You look like Gonzalo Higuain! Cheers..
Withington golf club looks like Augusta in comparison to golf clubs in central Scotland. 6 months of rain and snow has wrecked most courses. Going to be a tough season.
Surprised you're using the stock shaft on these woods? Don't they have a tour shaft that might suit you better? Or is your swing so smooth that these get you more speed without loosing accuracy?
Hi Pete, loving the content! Just wondering if there's any chance you could do a video on myroundpro, using it on the course and how you implement it into your game? I recently downloaded the app after seeing you use it and am just getting used to it, however I'm wondering how to get the best out of it. Not sure if this is a realistic request but thanks anyway!
I would really love to find a course that's empty enough to practice three or four shots per hole ! Around here you hardly have enough time to play with one ball before the group behind are getting agitated. The other morning I arrived at the 1st tee at 7am & there was a 3 ball on the green, another half way up the fairway & a fourball waiting on the tee. Is golf less popular up there ?
Topbloke Golf Vlogs. It's often a bit quieter in the afternoons round here but as soon as the weather improves the courses are rammed all day long. B****y fair weather hackers ! 😁
I cracked the face on the PING G400 Stretch 3 wood TWICE. Got it in December 18. Cracked it hitting range balls before a PInehurst 4 day trip in March. PING sent me a new on after the trip. Cracked the second one within 2 days warming up before a huge tournament. I will never buy PING again. These face are way too thin. Ruined 5 rounds of BIG golf for me.

This format is brill! Getting the on course commentary about each shot is so helpful. Thanks

More of these please! Love to hear you thinking through the upcoming shot, alternatives you're considering, etc.
Fantastic video Pete and I love the explanation for each shot, more please 👏👏
Keep these types of vlogs coming. Thoroughly enjoyed this video.
Please do more of these! Really enjoyed it👍🏻

Love this video! This is helping my mindset on the course and training possibilities! Keep it up Finchy!
8:40 - “hooo hoooo ‘ellllo” hahaha nice work Pete.
Great vid Pete. Really enjoying the approachable on course practice model you’re using. Keep it up

Awesome Pete, really enjoyed this format of video!! Am looking forward to next parts! And yes there should be a term for new club excitement!!!
Great vid Pete I like this style of recording and honest appraisal as usual - spot on!

Love the vlog with the club test a part of it! Keep up the good work!
Good stuff mate. Enjoyed the format.

It’s great seeing the flight with the pro tracer of the ball off the tee , your playing well Pete ⛳️👍
Thank you for your course management examples. Waiting for next parts 👍
Love the format, Pete!

I like this course vlog testing format ,some good easy watching
Really enjoyed this style of video. Keep up the good work!
Good video.. definitely something I'm gonna try
Loved the video. If I could hit a stinger like that it's the only shot I would ever play
More please!

Love these videos!
Best video yet we need more course management videos
Nice vlog, Pete! Used to play here sometime ago. Not far from the city centre, friendly staff, and reasonably cheap either.
Great video. Loved every second of it. Keep it up brah!
Swing is looking good Pete
Great vid👍👍

Hey Pete if u ever get send left handed clubs by mistake I'll be a good guy and take them off ur hands lol. Keep up the great videos!
Enjoyed that and the course looked in pretty good condition considering it's early spring.
Love this video Pete, it reminds me of most of my practice. I just don't hit it as well as you.
Useful vlog.

Great video, Pete, thank you. Oh, and at 11:50 it looks (briefly) like you're having a cheeky post-round cig :-D
Great stuff (as usual ;-) ) nice to see you going back to Ping... slowly :)
Great course vlog!
Like others i really like this type of video! Thanks Pete
Great video
Good stuff Pete. Doing a lot involving Ping stuff at the moment. Sure there's not something you need to tell us all.
Cheeky question.... can you say short iron now, given they are all the same length? :D
Great video as always
please test the callaway rogue 3 wood
That 3 wood a little too much on the clicky side dont you think pete?
Great video
it's hard to tell... so much depends on the mic and its position
Yep thats good
You can take it good shot pete
You need to find the most optimum shaft for that hybrid and 3wod.
Good vlog
I got the same pair of shoes!
Anyone know where Pete is getting the golf course data information. I coach high school golf and that information would be useful!! 😁👍
Where are the 2nd hand club challenges??
fakeginger 52 I understand it's after the Masters.
great vlog pete, is the g400 already replaced the f8 lol
Would love to be able to launch 3 wood like that!
Same loft as stensons 3 wood
I have a 3 heaven wood.It is 23 degrees loft.

Mid week after 12, you can play two balls where I live? Play some holes over if you want. M
after 6pm also seems to be a less busy and more relaxed time on many courses...
nice 3 wood!
Damn!
not a fan of this vocabulary - puts you in a downward spiral...
Benny Frank the 3rd true
i was there today playing mate
I cant hold it in any longer I Must tell you !!! I love you :)
Put that 3 wood in the bag. :)

Just being nosey lol. If you guys could play a round with any golfer, deceased or alive, who would it be and why?
Tiger from 1996 - to experience the power and swagger :-)
