    Outstanding Ride Quality.This FOX 2.0 Performance Series Reservoir Adjustable Front Shock is the optimal upgrade for those 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler JKs with a 1.5"-3.5" lift. The system features race-adjusted high flow pistons and an adjustable external oil reservoir, which makes it easy to dial in the shock to perform the way you want it. The end result is a Jeep that will perform at optimal levels in various weather and temperature conditions and environments.
    Superior Construction. The body of this front shock is crafted from 2.0 inch metal impacted 6061-T6 aluminum for impressive strength and durability. This portion of the shock is completed in a clear anodized finish, while the 6061-T6 Billet aluminum components are completed in a black anodized finish. Both finishes, in addition to the heat-treated alloy steel shaft, are visually arresting while also being superbly rugged in their longevity.
    Simple, Bolt-On Installation. This FOX adjustable front shock is designed to be a simple, bolt-on replacement for the stock factory shock, as well as the shocks found in most lift kits. No upgrades or other modifications are required for this installation, meaning anyone with a set of basic hand tools and a bit of patience can complete it. The time it takes to complete should be approximately 45 minutes.

    You mentioned the 8 Click Adjustable function repeatedly but didn't explain which way to go for a softer versus firmer ride. Can you clarify?

      Increasing compression damping (+) makes the shock harder to compress, or a firmer ride. Decreasing compression damping (-) makes the shock easier to compress, or a softer ride.

    How do you set it for a soft or firm ride? Minus(-) means softer or firmer?

      Khalid Hasan between 3-5 depending on the weight in your JK

      If you have the DSC shocks, then they have both high speed and low speed compression adjustment. These 2.0 shocks only have a low speed compression adjustment. The speed rating correlates to the shaft speed when the shock is compressed, not the speed at which your vehicle is traveling.

    Stupid question but I am a Jeep newb....will these work on oem sahara springs? My jeep is too high and need to lower it

    • @extremeterrain
      @extremeterrain  Год назад

      These specific shocks are rated for 1.5"-3.5" or 4"-6" lifts. So, if you have spacers with the factory springs they would work for the extra height. If you're looking to keep the Jeep a bit lower, we would recommend looking into shocks rated for 0" of lift or stock height.

    What modification is necessary to make it fit on the rear shock location of an XJ?

      Nothing. Lol removing bar pins allows you to run so many options on xj
