Yes I found it out the hard way as well haha. Also I wanted to make a video on this but I find ultra wide with rock steady on to make me fly much worse. As I cannot "feel" the drone and maybe there is extra delay?
thanks! was curious if gyroflow took o3 footage, now I know to disable rocksteady first. Liked & subbed :) -also watched your full vid to donate some watch time
I’ve heard some people say the rocksteady works better than Gyroflow but I believe you. I figured I’ll give gyroflow a try and see for myself. Great video! Happy flying
Whoever said that must me on some fun stuff haha. Gyroflow is a clear winner. However thinking about it maybe the fly freestyle. I know freestyle pilots like the snappy look and gyroflow might smooth it out too much for their taste. However of course the could just turn the sliders down
They look very close. Unless it's side by side, I bet it would be impossible to tell. I wonder if the latest firmware updates to the o3 until will help even more.
Hi there, I hope you can help. I have 2x O3 units, 1 in in my flywoo explorer lr 4 and works perfect with gyroflow. My other unit in my freestyle quad does not... when I import the file (flying with wide screen option 16x9 with dcinelike) the video in gyroflo is just black. Disabling stabilization shows the video again. Using Rocksteady has no issue. Air units are on the latest firmware. Any ideas?
Kinda late to this video. But I just started really using the o3 and I have this massive problem, where the raw footage looks kinda okay (but obviously not stabilized) but as soon as I put it through Gyroflow it gets these massive vibrations that just aren't there in the raw footage. I read somewhere, that the gyroscope on the o3 is supposed to be very sensitive, so is it maybe just because my quad isn't super nicely built? But then again I never had this problem with my GoPro before. Do you have an idea what could be wrong? TIA
This sounds like 2 problems 1) yes your drone build is super noisy 2) you are filming with automatic shutter speed and the lighting conditions are low and it causes you to break the 180 rule (shutter = 2*(frame rate)). Which gyroflow does not like and freaks out
@@33rdframe Hey. First thanks for replying :) My shutter is on manual as is everything else so I think it has to be the drone. Also what I just remembered is that I had to fly with cut props because I had the wrong arms on my frame (long story) so it probably is that *facepalm Im gonna fix it tomorrow anyways and test it out then. Cheers
@@33rdframe yeah. I upgraded my old apex frame to the apex evo deadcat and didn't realize, that that one has 6" arms in the back xD. So while I waited I just cut off some props. Now they're here tho so hopefully that fixes things.
Hey dude, just finished my 03 build and wanted to test gyroflow with it, i have done a test flight today with rocksteady disabled, its put on normal FOV and the image is recorded at 2.7K 100fps. when i drag and drop the video into gyroflow its telling me that there is no motiondata, what did i do wrong?? is it only collecting this data at 4k?
I am having an issue with no gyro data. Eis off wide mode no gyro data. With eis on I had a slight side to side shake. So I thought the camera lens was loose so I took apart the camera and put some drops of glue by the lens like in other videos. Then once our back together with eis on I get a bad side to side shake at high throttle and no gyro data. I never tried gyro flow before on this o3 but my other one it works great. Eis off video is butter smooth. Rotor riot tanq smooth flying. Any thoughts?
@Dr Quads gyroflow is so awesome. I did a video showing extreme shaking wobbling drone and how gyroflow makes it so smooth. I started when gyroflow was a lot harder to use. Now it's so easy.
Gyroflow stabilizes much better but at the same time it makes you lose video quality, something that doesn't happen with rocksteady, that's why I use rocksteady to have better image quality.
@@33rdframeI wonder what I am doing wrong then because I see a big drop in quality exporting with gyroflow, it really softens the video and I've tried so many settings to try and lessen that.

its pretty massive... here look at this... ruclips.net/video/bCsdFudWtQA/видео.html a way to try and train your eye and sticks is now go and try to copy this level of smoothness... and honestly evaluate yourself. that's how i got this good. but also Gyroflow really does a lot of heavy lifting

Awesome comparison. Can Gyroflow stabilize a video that was shot in ultra wide?
No as in ultra wide the gyro data is not saved

put it in d cine mode and also make sure to color grade in davinci resolve

16:9
