TBSラジオ、安住紳一郎の日曜天国で年末に放送される総集編では、コーナー前にこの曲がオープニングとして流れます。
きっと安住さんが北海道時代に聞いていたアタックヤングをオマージュして、この曲を使いたかったからと思いますが、私もそのおかげでこの曲を知ることができました。
実に楽しげな曲で、気に入りました。
また年末に聴く楽しみが増えました。
「ぴったんこカン★カン」に木村の洋ちゃん出てましたよね。その時にこの曲が流れてたんだよなぁ。
帯広から聴いていたのでしょうね。まさか大人になり、隣局のキー局でメインのアナウンサーになるとは思ってなかったでしょうね。
「STVラジオ！安住紳一郎のアタックヤング！ 」って聴いてみたい。

この曲をオープニングテーマにしたのが昭和56年春改変からでしたけど、その時期に臼井佳子さんなど当時の「アタヤン」を文字通り「牽引」してたパーソナリティーが「卒業」したために、番組に新たな「息吹き」を、という思いでテーマを変えた、といった話を以前堺なおこさんが「復活 魂のアタックヤング」の中で話していましたね。

This is memory lane. This tune was used as an intro for a local news station in San Antonio, KENS-TV 5, during the late 70's and early 80's, plus used by CBS Sports when summarizing highlights of PGA golf tournaments/championships in around the 90's, maybe even the tail end of the 80's, when Pat Summerall and a host of others would commentate.
You can now see a RUclips video with all the intros to the KENS newscasts through the years, including the ones with this song, which come first.

喜瀬、じゅんき、Wカオル、木村鳳凰、明石H郎、森中、千秋、俊介、内山、落合美穂、坂本咲子、神原智己、のりお、藤井、と良いSTV局アナの修業の場だったのに末期は・・・。
時代の変化ですね。ラジオで収益を上げづらくなり、局アナの人件費を投下できなくなった。今、あの時間ニッポン放送の番組を唯一ネットしてるのがSTVですから。
