I just bought the diamond grey lite with gold trigger n barrel. It still hasn’t showed up yet but I am so excited I’m going to shoot it as soon as I get it lol.
Thank you for the video, I didn't realize it was so simple to take down, I'd have cleaned mine much sooner! I have the same Vortex red dot too, great little gun!
I like the Hoppes Semi-Auto cleaner as it leaves no residue but it was $7-9 a bottle for 4 ozs. Walmart sells a spray can of cleaner called Powder Blast. 12 ozs. You can take the little 4 oz glass bottle to the garage and with the little tube fill that bottle up 3 times. The Powder Blast is like $6-8 a spray can.
I love how there are hundreds of different styles of this same gun. I got a black handle, gold trigger&barrel, and oval cutouts on the blue receiver. Kinda like more symmetric and simple types but that's all they had.
Way too many chemicals...for me anyway..... Ballistol would have done it all! :D Also your Ballistol can should've had a spray tube with it for spraying down the barrel. I use it on all my guns....spray and wipe done!
Does the empty chamber indicator do anything to damage the spring. I go out shooting probably once or twice a month and feel kind of bad leaving it in there for a few weeks at a time but I guess its really not an issue.
bobby digital sorry for disappointing. You probably already found out in a different video but others put a few dots on the surface of the bolt. Ruger manual literally just says wipe “all surfaces” with a lightly oiled patch.
The easy takedown feature is awesome 👍
Cleaning up the gun after shooting was the only negative about prior versions. Thanks for the video 🙂
"Apparently with the Mark III, ..." brother, you don't know the pain. ;-)
“it’s NEW, I really like it!” 2020
Love the music in these videos. Hope you’ll make more videos, even though I hate guns lol.

Beautiful gun. Just bought the same one with a gold trigger and barrel.
Joey Boy ayyye! Same!
That's a Real Avid Bore Boss. You can hook the front end of the "snake" into the handle/carrier at the bottom and pull with.

P.S. I use CLP for my lubricant.
Nice soundtrack!
Try dry wiping first ,before soaking with solvent. Especially the bolt. Just like sweeping a floor before moping !

I just got a hold of one of thse with the rounded rectangular holes and in gold.
Lol, I have the same optic, nice setup!

I've got that tube. Somewhere. I try rubberbanding it to the can and the rubber band gradually falls apart.
Yes, indeed, Mark III reassembly sucks, don’t let the badge of honor chatter fool ya! ...can’t believe how simple the IV is, niiiiice!

My Mark IV Lite isn't even close to being as smooth as that to disassemble.... I've got to practically pry it off.
Keep doing it
For my opinion it is still dirty when you reassemble the gun ....
Shouldn’t you know what you’re doing before you waste people’s time
Yah wasted 6 minutes of my life too
Hey you aint supposed to dry fire a rimfire gun
I'd heard that too but Ruger says it's OK, at least to lower the hammer for cleaning: www.rugerforum.net/threads/22-45-dry-fire-question.37307/
What optic is that?
Vortex, I never remember if it's a Venom or a Viper.
@@aspectratio703cool. is that a cover on it?
@@vadimnesen8060 yeah, and I lost it and had to get a generic one. Doesn't fit so well but oh well. And it is the Venom not the Viper.
@@aspectratio703 gotcha. I'm debating whether to just keep it nude and just master the sights but sometimes I wanna have a dot.
Dry fire a rimfire gun, a BIG NO NO!
That’s what I’d always heard but it’s safe to do with the Ruger. www.rugertalk.com/threads/ruger-says-dry-firing-ok-10-22-mk-pistols.6449/
way over priced for a ,22 it/s very picky on what ammo your using. i know yours shoots anything thrown at it
I have problems in ALL my .22s with budget ammo, so I pretty much get exclusively CCI nowadays.
Dude why make a video if you dont know what you are doing....come on karl
bobby digital constructive criticism welcomed and I’ll do it right next time.
@@aspectratio703 I personally watched to see the oil points hence my frustration....gorgeous firearm though!....I'm 703 myself. God bless

Common man. ,"joebiden"
Can I get the snake bore link?
