This very same model is my go-to for range day plinking. I know .22 is a dirty round, but I don't clean my barrel that often until I see a drop in accuracy. (Maybe it's just me, but I find my rifles fire more accurately with a little bit of residue in the barrel, and so I figured the same may be true of pistols.) Often I'll take a cotton swab dipped in acetone (careful not to get it on anything plastic) and really get into the ejector groove on the side of the chamber. While you do need to dry fire the gun to disassemble it, after a while mine actually dented the chamber itself. That caused all manner of loading and ejecting problems. A handy tool to have around is a .22 chamber swagger. It costs a bit for just a small piece of metal, but well worth it if it can save a gun from having to go to a gunsmith. I've upgraded mine with fiber optic sights and a lightened trigger, and it shoots almost as well as my Volquartsen Black Scorpion. Such a great gun that I really haven't felt the urge to upgrade to the MK IV.

Very well done ma’am. You sound like a gunsmith or one that has formal training. Very professional, more so than a lot of the bigger channels!

I used to have a MkIII/45. What a total pain in the rear end to disassemble. It shot really nice though.

Hey! Yes. This particular one was very gracious to me! I’m so glad that I didn’t have to used a mallet and I didn’t even have to flip it to keep that hammer down. It’s such a fun and accurate gun to shoot!

I’m not fully sure of the type, but I want to do action shooting. I think it was USPSA and IDPA that I was talking to someone about. I don’t plan on getting into it this year, but next year for sure. I have to learn more about the types.
