Gamo swarm magnum penetration test .177 vs .22 cal

Hi every body, I’m doing penetration test between .177 and .22 , the targets we are using are made of different materials, like pine board 1/2 inch, 28 gauge sheet metal, paper plate and water bottle and 2x4 , I hope you enjoy this show

You should try custom pellets. I've made one with a 1inch finishing nail. I've 3D printed the skirt/shell with the nail sitting tightly in the center. Looks like a mini tank shell. Would go through that wood at 9:05 easily. Also using a Gamo Magnum .22 cal. Fairly accurate at 50 yards as well for being something homemade.

You'd have to compare similar weights/mass to make any useable observartions ✌️
A 20 grain cal177 vs a 20 grain cal22 going at the same speed, will have the 177 go further, and retain energy for longer.
