This cool and timely. I was just getting ready to do some nameplates on my P1S and was about to try and set them up in Fusion360 which I have very little experience in. This looks way easier.
Thanks I was hung up on the sign color but I was downloading the sign as a 3mf instead of a STL then It was hell trying to get the colors I want since it does not appear the sign border color cannot be changed
Tried to do a sign with a Qcode using SVG (Adobe Qcode can output SVG). Looks fine on the 2D preview. 3D looks like a totally filled square. Slicing (in Cura) I see nothing but a flat surface. Has anybody seen SVG work with other than super simple line drawings? Qcodes on signs is pretty common these days and I see no other way to do it in this tool.
I use a Rode Shotgun Mic and a Samson Q9U. Mics don't get much better. But there are many ways to help me get more toys, such as a lav Mic, to shoot videos that cost nothing to watch. Ciao, ho importato un logo svg su un piano in makerlab e ora vorrei stamparlo. Che impostazioni di stampa posso utilizzare con la mia a1 mini? Ho visto che hai cambiato qualche impostazione.
Well, it works, but at a very rudimentary level. The font selection is horrible and the color selection is minimal. Also, you can't select multiple items (like using Shift to select more than one object), which makes the process very slow and tedious. Hoping they will improve and/or enhance this tool soon. Thank you for the introduction to "Make My Sign", as I wasn't even aware of it. I normally make my signs with Tinkercad. Cheers!
Yes, comparatively, to a typical DRP tool, it's super basic, but, in our little 3D Printer world, tools like this simply existing, is a step in the right direction

I would love to see a guide on how to make a flat multicolored sign. This new Bambu feature is awesome though for quick signs!
Oddly I was looking at that recently. Kinda made my head hurt, but sure, I'll see about getting that done
Really helpful, as always. Mucho thanks 👍
Welcome friend. Thanks for taking the time to watch. :)
Thanks!

Fusion 360 hurts my brain! It's amazing how well this works. 🙌🏼
Thanks very helpful video but I was looking for how to make the signs translucent for back lighted sign boxes, can you do that in BB studio?
Hi, Not sure on that.
Maybe a thinner printed design using PETG translucent filament.
Thanks I was hung up on the sign color but I was downloading the sign as a 3mf instead of a STL then It was hell trying to get the colors I want since it does not appear the sign border color cannot be changed
Use Paint Bucket, and choose "Fill", highlight the border. Click. Working with the 3MF is fine

have "fill small holes" on? Move on to Orca, or slice right there in Bambu Studio
it says we can use this to make a light box.. any ideas how?
Can be done, but I don't think with this tool. Unless just to make the front panel?
GREAT VIDEO, but please get a better microphone. 🙂

Same. Just choose your A1 Mini profile in Studio. I mostly lowered the speeds a random amount, to make things easier for the machine
Does it make any poop with sign prints?
Very little, at the color swap
