I need to make "blanks" for badge reels and keychains. Instead of buying limited premade ones off Etsy or struggling to cut acrylic sheets out with my Cricut I thought "How can I 3D print the outline of the images I need?" Well, you sir, have answered my question. You made this really easy to follow along with and the websites you suggested are so user friendly. My husband had me try Fusion360 and I instantly got annoyed trying to outline my basic shaped images. Thank you so much.
Thank you for the lesson. Do you, perhaps, have a lesson on making "coasters"? I saw military coasters on makerworld, and would love to learn how to make them in Tinkercad. Thanks again.
I did some things slightly different from you but thank you so much for this tutorial and helping me find photopea and giving tinkercad another shot. Ive been trying to figure out how people make their colored layer change keychains, logos, etc for a long time and this has to be the best way to do it!
I have an A1 Mini and it's fabulous, especially if your student is going to use PLA for their models. It works quickly and efficiently (and has a terrific 4 color AMS Mini unit if they get the A1 Mini Combo). I make smaller items on the A1 Mini and larger items on my P1S. Let me know if you or the sutdent needs any assistance with the printer. And thank you VERY much for the Tinkercad instruction!
There's a person who sells avatars. I bought one and then changed it to look more like me. Then I use Adobe Character Animate to make it copy my movements. That's it.
When I clicked on the wand it highlighted it with dots just like your example. However, I could only color AROUND the spiderman. Not inside it. It was totally opposite of what your video showed. Weird!!
After you select the outside of the spiderman, you need to go to the menu and click on select. Then select inverse select from the drop down menu. Then you can color it. Let me know if this doesn't work.
Just because people speed on the freeway, doesn’t mean it’s legal. No cop is going to let you off the hook if you point to everyone else and say, “but everyone else is doing it.” I’m just telling my students the truth, they can choose listen or not.

Do you have a picture of one? Coasters are just flat circles, aren’t they?

I have a question, about printing this, which is cool thank you, how can I do a 3 color print on my single color printer?
I would stop a print and change the filament. I hated doing it but the results were cool.
