- For all your gaming and pop culture needs, and all the overpriced skincare and cosmetics, make a one stop shop to the new LEGO Friends Heartlake City Shopping Mall. I LOVE all the details that are inside (comic books and collectible figures) in the gaming store, expensive makeup downstairs, and a toy store (but sadly with no LEGO, what sort of toy store even is this?). The moving escalators make this super interactive and it's full of life and potential hustle and bustle. Just gotta move some more people in 👍🏻

It's cool right, to see these crossovers between themes? I'm hoping we'll see more Friends references sneaking into other themes too. There's obviously a Bionicles fan in the Friends design team!

Hello Ellie, I just wanted to thank you for making good wholesome content for kids, there is so much gross, and inappropriate things being marketed to kids nowadays. Im glad I watched you when I was younger and not Elsagate content like a lot of kids my age did. Thank you Ellie, I am a teenager now but still enjoy your videos ❤

Ellie, I think the I’m a teapot line came from an episode of The Goodies. I can almost see Tim panicking over something and repeating “I’m a teapot, I’m a teapot” and hitting himself with something. I know it’s a line my husband and I use to indicate lunacy.
I also think it refers back to the Mad Hatter in a roundabout, obscure British way.

These details are fantastic! We love the kayak used as decoration and usable adventure and the game style in the gaming store is perfect.
I think there's opportunity for a lot of fun by mixing this mall with the main street shops!
Thoughts for mocs:
-More floor space could be created by plugging small shelves into walls for the cash register areas. That could also work for desks in schools to minimize unnecessary pieces.
-Your nail stickers could be used to add details like foods, door signs, plant pot decoration, stamen and other plant details in addition to your photos, artwork, and textiles. *You could create your own line of stickers!
- The newer botanical pieces and the quasi-botanical pieces like chopsticks and banana peels could be so awesome used in indoor and outdoor plants.
I'd love to see a new theme including unusual pets like reptiles and amphibians. We've acquired frogs of many colors, turtles, and even a few lizards and snakes that could be part of a herpetarium. The habitat decor options are endless at this point and an engaging way to use pieces in a new way. It's another form of inclusivity for those of us without your typical pets. *We love our ball pythons and turtles since we can't have furry friends.
It would also be fun to have an aquarium based on Shedd aquarium in Chicago. We'd have the opportunity for so much aquatic life and design elements to use!

Yeah, camping for mums is basically, do all the stuff you always do for everyone else but with NONE of the conveniences you have to make those jobs easier or faster at home. Why would anyone do that to themselves? I refuse to go camping 😤 the boys go on their own here and I get a weekend home alone (everybody wins!). I insist on a cabin with a bathroom at least.
Camping is the pits. I like the IDEA of camping. Probably in a different country that has more temperate weather and fewer lethal critters 😂
Yes, the only time I'll do the camp in a tent thing any more is if I have a promise of, I dunno. The Northern Lights, maybe? And NO arthropods! They have their place in the ecosystem and that place is NOT in my tent.
For that matter, camping in Denmark is probably glorious.

I just bought a set with a lot of koi fish in all sorts of varieties and colors. It’s called the “Tranquil Garden”. And I’ve just got to say, you really inspire my day and I’ve never met someone that can keep talking and keep being so amazing . So I really appreciate your company and your builds. I’m a huge fan of Lego friends as well. 💚🤎🧱
A little late here, lol. 16:34 I also thought it looked similar to the Heartlake International School until I watched you building it. Both have white walls and other elements that are in the same or similar colours like HLIS’s windows and HLCSM’s floors. I assume the reason it’s been seen like this is how most didn’t take a close look at the builds, thus their brains only focused on the colours which caused this. Overall it’s better than I thought it was. Especially the floors seemed weird to me but now I kinda like them 😌

2:49 to add onto your doll rant because I am a doll and toy collector. A figurine is anything resembling a person, a statue, a doll, etc. Dolls are a usually playable figurine with clothes and brushable hair. Usually targeted towards girls. Action figures are also playable figurines but don't usually have exchangeable clothes like humans do, it's a separate piece of porcine or plastic where you could swap the head around, to change the pose and or clothes. The hair is practically never brushable and is molded on or a separate peice to swap around. Action figures are intended for a male audience. The name doll has been "tainted" with femininity. Thus the name action figure or figure was used. This is where Lego are interesting, they fit under the action figure lable and because of that attracted a mostly male audience. So with lego trying to introduce girls and women into Lego the name miniDOLLL was used. Doll again used to attract a female audience. They are especially the same thing the only difference between the two is hair, clothing type, color scheme (for the most part), intended use (playing house, playing superhero and villain or display.) And the gendered history of toys. Sorry this was long, I just find this interesting. If you want to learn more I'd suggest checking out Darling Dolls channel as he has lots of things to say on the differences and similarities between them.
Not too long at all, I’m fascinated by it too. I always find it laughable that any figure that is marketed for men are “figures” and anything for women are “dolls” and looked down on. Women and their interests are frivolous and men’s hobby collections are important and valid. Hey internalised misogyny, you rear your ugly head everywhere.

This set looks so great! I especially love the gaming store, I'd like to see a bigger version of it as a separate set - a place for a geek like me to hang out, that would be a dream. Also, the banana peel is a total highlight of the build, I live for these small adorable pieces like that. 🍌 Btw, I've never heard anyone use the word "tea-potty" before but it's so cute 😁 ~Wavey ;)
