Nice to know you don't have to mess with the brake lines, bleeding, etc. Thanks guys for the video!

GM, I'm having the same problem in my 2001 Chevy S10.. the ABS & Brake Light come and go, plus the front right makes a locking sound and I thought it was the caliper. I'm replacing everything caliper, rotors and new pads.. they were due to change. Thanks for the video.

With the locking up problem, it could also be your brake hose, so check the internal and external integrity of the hose.

@@diyduo_getyourfix Thanks, I will.. I already purchased all new rotors, calipers and pads.. just waiting for brake dust plates with new abs sensor wires.. my truck needs some TLC especially here in Central Florida. Stop here and there and everything is far..! I also have new spark plug wire and Iridium plugs all from AC Delco.. all Black Friday purchases. I'm trying to do some work before my double hernia surgery in late March. Thanks for your help!

Nick actually heard some strange grinding noises after he started driving and then the ABS light on his dashboard lit up. Even when he turned his car off, he still heard a whirring sound so he knew something was still amiss - and was smart enough to pull the fuse so it didn't end up draining his battery before we could replace the module.

Ha Ha! You are so right! I mentioned in the description that I left the filming to John and Nick - and they didn't do a very good job of filming... but they did a great job of diagnosing and fixing the problem, so I hope everyone sees "enough" of how they did it so that this video is helpful. And if you can believe that they could do an even worse job than this one... I left them to film flushing his radiator (because CHUNKS actually came out) - except 80% of what they did never recorded because they hit the photo button instead of the video button. I'm not making this up.
