I did years back a glasto festival a couple of local lads took me 25 miles away in a taxi and i needed to walk back 25 miles after a night out in a club it was agony, I almost gave up half way but knew it could be dangerous.
I think he was heading towards where he could see the sea.... thinking he was heading to a town.... why he didn't just stay on the road and wait for the next bus is probably the biggest mystery... RIP Jay x

It is beautiful but like another planet. Can't understand why he'd say he was lost if he was on the way to the shop . I can't believe he could have phoned anybody battery or not if he was already in the Masca Gorge there won't be a signal it's just a narrow path between rocks and boulders. Very busy with tourists..why didn't he get water instead of ciggies at the shop?? Stay on the road and hitch or wait for the bus or even walk to the next town where all the buses interchange for the rest of the island . It might look like Mars but it has buses main roads and tons of traffic

The grief of losing a child isn't something you can put in a box and label. Grief of any kind doesn't result in tears without end, there's only so much water in your body. Moments where your brain tries to protect you and for a brief space you forget before it comes crashing back in. You could not walk that area in 11hrs impossible, it’s remote and really dangerous to go off road. Could be wrong but this does not smell like it is.

The grief of losing a child isn't something you can put in a box and label. Grief of any kind doesn't result in tears without end, there's only so much water in your body. There are moments that are just numb, moments of denial that hold you in a different kind of pain... Moments where your brain tries to protect you and for a brief space you forget before it comes crashing back in.
I hope you never understand, because you don't, and no one who doesn't should ever try to say what grief should or shouldn't look like, especially that of a parent.

Feel for the parents. But with respect, i feel he lived a great life. Dying young and on holiday. He didnt suffer the way he would if he became 40 or 50. The disappointments, or watching your friends and family pass away around you. Rip tho.

@JackBurton-qp4hc They don't need to say those exact words for it to be implied. You've got people calling others "conspiracy theorists", because they think it's dodgy that all of a sudden his body was found where law enforcement have been searching for weeks, and that they think he was probably killed, rather than just fell. When you look at the people he was last with before his death, it's definitely not farfetched to think he was killed.
