Hermione is brilliant for thinking to use the stinging jinx on Harry's face to make him unrecognizable (for awhile).
no literally, the girl is a genius its insane
She analyzed the situation, every possible outcome and made that decision in a matter of seconds. She truly is the brightest witch of her age 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@@Anna-or1xd She's my favourite character
@@Anna-or1xd totally
She's a genius
The most underrated movie of the Harry Potter series. I also didn't like it when I saw it for the first time, but when I re-watch the entire series, this particular movie felt spectacular.
Nômade hum? Because time passed, and Daniel Radcliffe grew up, obviously, as time went on.. in Half-Blood Prince he was around 18/19 years old when he was making the film, while in this one he was already 20/21 when filming took place..
this movie just really shows how strong their friendship was
I recently experienced the exact same thing this week
Through out the movie he was a kid when he filmed it in the first movie
Rounak Mahato Yeah there’s something I forgot the name of but it was where if you know the ending then you actually enjoy the rest of the movie more.
In this scene they had a hard time cuz the trio ran faster then the crew expected
I mean, they've been running since they were 11 compared to the rest of the actors haha
The poor cameramen (⌐■-■)
Like a Maury show you are not the father sprint
they were shot on car.
Yeah and Dan and Emma were having a race competition just against each other😂
I like the choice of adding no music, makes it much more intense.
I always tell my sister that. She doesn’t understand what I mean. No music shows how serious it is for them to get away
Alen Alic but there was music???
Naqibur Rahman that’s at the beginning, but when they start running u can only hear their breathing and the sound of their footsteps, it makes it more intense
@@sukiii-000 there is a little bit of music 1:31
@@sukiii-000 There's music consistently throughout the scene. It's low, but it's definitely there.
this is such an underrated scene. this is one of my favourite scene and my favourite harry potter movie.
sarah harris yes, that’s so true! THIS movie is so underrated. I actually love it. But I love them all honestly
The camera work is amazing
Same it’s one of my favorite scenes
Mine is the Patronus scene in the Prisoner of Askaban
Part 2 is my favourite and This is also my favourite chase scene!😍🔥
I like how the boys running for their life and Hermione is just casually detonating C4 to at least try and stop snatchers (yeah, i know it wasnt in the books)
C4? 🤔
@@matheuslima9445 that's a long link
She shoot the spell to Harry, that slows them down and get caught. But it’s important for them to destroy the horcrux
@@freeflowingacid5182 1:34 C4.
@@ssssdsddxfjfggff8891 she shoots him so he's unrecognisable
The title isn’t very helpful. They’re always under threat.
Thought the same thing. That could describe the whole series almost
Just shut up and watch you got what you were looking for 🙄
@Lin Ku imagine that being funny 😂🤦🏾♂️ try again just don’t try too hard cause that “joke” sucked.
good joke
@@quasiemedmondson4646 there’s a thing called ignoring a comment. Stop being so negative, there’s no point.
Just the way the J.K Rowling writes this part of the series has all that tension that you’d want from a fictional book and the way that the team conveyed that into the film portrayed it very well.
Thot Police yeah, I agree
She didn't write this scene
I don't think she wrote this scene. From what I remember, this never happened in the book
This scene wasn’t in the book
JK Rowling didn't write this
This scene is so. well. done. From the minimal use of music and sound effects to the fact that none of the actors outright scream. Hermione makes a heartbreaking sound at :48 and Ron and Harry make involuntary noises when they fall but that's it. It makes it so much more suspenseful and serious. Love it so much.
0:42 What a shot
I absolutely love the cinematography in this scene!!
They just happened to run into Snatchers... I think the book version was better, where they showed up because Harry said "Voldemort." (they never explained the Taboo curse in the movie; they deleted that scene where Ron talks about it)
Tobias 'Big Mo' Logan but this is still fine
The movies are good, the books are awesome! :-)
i think they just happen to come past the piece of cloth tied round the tree where hermione placed i there before idk it still looked badass.
Interesting, I like that they kept it out for this scene though. With the time that Hermione said Voldemort in the coffee shop and Xenophilius, you would think that they'd learn their lesson.
This movie is so bad at capturing the feel of the book
This scene is really masterfully shot. Actually, the whole movie has good cinematography and artistry! The Prisoner of Azkaban and The Deathly Hallows part 1 & 2 are my favourite in this series.
Eh, the shaky cam in here looks awful imho
@@geometrydashiuppiter6910 nah not in a theater or a decent tv
This scene is exactly like a scene from Sherlock Holmes a game of shadows which was released a year earlier
@@Shane-un8pe just cause there both chases in the woods doesn’t mean it’s the same and Guy Ritchies woods chase is amazing as well they killed that scene
@@oheldenring6937 yes I like both of them and I never said they're the same. I said they're similar, which they are.
I remember watching this thinking ‘yo, Hermione is fastttt’😂😂
yeah lol I watched the bts and they said Daniel and Emma just raced each other all the time, and then Rupert was just trying to keep up with them 😂
FR SHE REALLY SAID TRACKSTARR🏃🏾♀️
I say this chase scene is one of best changes in the harry potter movies. You really feel the tension, the heart racing, and the fear of being hunted down by Snatchers as you run for your life. In the book, Snatches were standing in front of tent and caught the golden trio after harry saying Voldemort's by accident
1:44 Hermione is a pro at using non verbal spells
“The trio, under threat”
That title could literally be applied to the entire Harry Potter series
The stunt director for The Deathly Hallows had to ask the snatchers to speed up when chasing the trio because Daniel, Rupert and Emma ran a lot faster than expected.
Breathtaking cinematography! It's amazing how much this series has evolved.
Yes and I love this movie so dark 🖤🖤
I will say, out of the entire series, this film is wildly underrated.
When Hermione threw back that explosion charm, I was like "GO GIRL!!!"
GOOO HERMIONE IS SUCH A BADASS
I love how the music builds and then Hermione just causes an explosion. SO GOOD!
Easily my favorite scene of all time, I love when they just start running and everything goes silent and you just hear their breathes and them running and the cool, dark sound effects. Also really liked the part where Hermione turns really fast and does does a Bombarda spell(if that is what she did). I thought that part was so cool.
Exactly 👏
i love this movie because of how it shows the seriousness of the situation and the extensiveness of Lord Voldemorts power, either with the scenes like the beginning where they are ambushed going to the burrow, or with how much the politics of the ministry is coming into play, showing that this is becoming serious to something as big as the ministry too.
Yes, though the ministry was inherently involved in the war as Voldemord had already infiltrated it. Harry didn’t become a topic of interest gradually, he always was. This movie portrays the political dimension of the world very well, but the books, especially order of the phoenix, dive beautifully into it

Everytime I watch this scene I can't help to think that Hermione could've quarrelled with most of the snatchers and probably cast a massive spell, I'm sorry but she is always the best to me, so fierce, so intelligent, she is the boss! This is one of my favorite scenes of all times, all the suspense and the high speed
The thing is Hermione in the movies was written to be perfect. When I’m the books it is shown that she is a very good and intelligent witch but was not a combative one and could not think well under pressure.
Jorge Romero Hermione stile Ron’s lines tho
@Ron Weasley Emma Watson (known as the actor of Hermione Granger) didn’t steal Rupert’s (known as Ronald Weasley) lines, she memorized both Dan’s (known as Harry Potter) and Rupert’s lines.
Angelina Phan because they were given to her-
@@BrunoOliveira-to7hf Harry would have did better if his Wand wasn't broken
This scene is actually my favorite, so intense and so immersive. The sounds of their running on dry grass and breath, you can feel their adrenaline
1:34 powerful C4 there, Hermione
I love how there's no music and soft running and spell blasts
hands down one of the best scenes in the harry potter trilogy
Well it’s not a trilogy but yeah it’s the best scene
i spit out my drink reading this comment when i got to 'trilogy'
“trilogy” 😭💀
It's very much like the chase scene in Sherlock Holmes a game of shadows which was released a year earlier
Trilogy?
you could see when hermione stopped for a moment she calculated all the possibilities and decided to hex harry on the spot she's so smart
The choice to have no music while they ran was a good one. The sound of only footfalls, breathing, and spells being cast made it more intense.
This scene gives me chills
0:05 Hardly any hard feelings. Nice how understanding he is
Fun fact : in 0:25, “Hello beautiful” was this actor’s favourite line lol
Nick Moran sure looks good in character of Scabior ngl
I love the way this was filmed
It is an incredible idea to putting no music in scene
It gives more thriller and excitement to scene
Badass Hermione taking out those two dudes at 1:34
Dan and Emma: I am fasterrrrrrrrrrrr
Rupert: imma go where I wanna go
1:34 I love that non-verbal Bombarda ✨

When you realise that the poster of this movie is based on this particular chase scene. Brilliant.
Ok but can we quickly appreciate the athleticism by snatchers here please
I mean one dude literally jumped on a whole log, could keep up with Harry and take aim at him whilst he was still running even if he had stormtrooper aim 😂
This movie was the oddest one of the series. I remembered it being boring but I saw it again recently and it was great
I loved how this was filmed

scabior is SUCH an underrated character
Hello beautiful
Scabior is one of my Personal Favorite Antagonist, sends off that Unnerving-Creepy Vibe dosen't help that Greyback is part of his snatchers Group/Gang.
I get so many chills watching this scene
This is amazing! It looks like something out of a war movie.
probably one of the best scenes in the harry potter universe
No music just the noises, same effect with Batman vs Bane OMG so tense!
Hermiony was the smart one to use her wand while running
Ron: *gets captured*
Harry : *running for his life*
Hermoine: "EXPLOOOOSION"
This scene is really well done...hope they can make like this type of scene in future movies
1:34 used to pretend i did this scene bc i find it rly cool
Ron is such a cute bean
My phone: 6000% brightness
I love chase scenes so much. But i dont like how they are made because of the spotty camera. Now in this scene, it finally gives what i want
I'd litterally faceplant and get caught in the first two seconds😭🤚
“The Trio, Under Threat”
Is this news?
One thing Hermione shouldve added to her bag: broomsticks.
;----; i miss this so much
Running through the woods, just like Sherlock Holmes 2 movie... The two scenes run like parallel
Hermione - A friend in need is a friend in deed
Hermione is seriously a hero in the last two films
What I simply don't get: why didn't they make up a meeting point to disappear to in case something like this happened? Sure Harry doesn't have a wand but could quickly run over to hermione - maybe I'm missing something that was just bothering me for a long time
They used to have one: Grimmauld Place. But Hermione apparated to Grimmauld Place once with a person who was holding her at that time, which made it unsafe.
Yeah I get it...
Like when they first started running they could of took ahold of Hermione and go to a busy street or something until they figured out where to go...
Oh well it’s different in the book anyway
This is NOT how the scene took place in the book. This is not what actually happened and it is not how they were found by the snatchers
Francisca Salgado yeah they said “Voldemort” which is taboo and jinxed
If u say it protective charms will go off
Maybe becuz one or more of the snatchers cudve someone caught hold of someone the moment they tried to disapparate?
1:28 this would have been a great time for Harry to use incarceous
Lol behind the scenes they were looking who the fastest was. And it was hermoine 🤣🤣🤣
Nope it was Daniel.
They filmed this in Weston woods in Baldock
I live in Baldock
What a smalll world we live in 😂
the title pretty much sums up all the books and movies
I liked the fight but I wish the snatchers had found the trio using the taboo. The taboo wasn't mentioned anywhere in the movie. The snatchers would've found them using the taboo and then the trio would've make a run for it
The Snatchers confiscate their wands immediately after capturing the trio. Do they ever get them back after the war? Their wands were supposedly left behind at Malfoy Manor.
Crazy to realize the main snatcher is also the voice of the badass Ghost from Modern Warfare 1 & 2. Didn't expect that
Ron said they wouldn't last 2 days without Hermione. I don't think they would last a day or a week without her Lol
ur pfp is so cringy😭
Actually this can only happen in the movies, books Harry and Ron were pretty clever and strong.
Um, read that again
I want to wipe my memory so I can read/watch these books again :c
Best scene in the movie
We can see the desperate need for jinxing harry in Hermione's eyes ....
I can’t see it
Lawl. Teen girls shipping Hermione and the snatcher guy just from the scenes in this movie alone is funny.
HP7.1 is a really well-done movie. I can't explain what happened to HP7.2 being "the same film"...
What's wrong with part 2?
Damn, Hermione just quickscoped Harry there
Im just laughing here how akward this is without music after all the tiktok edits😂😂
I thought Rupert's acting in this scene was particularly great
im glad that ron know how to use spell properly
this is probably my favorite scene in dh pt 1
Their a runner their a trackstar🏃♀️
Why is Ron always the first to get captured
because in the movies, hermione needs to outshine him in everything even though in the books it states she is the worst out of the trio under pressure whereas ron and harry are kind of accustomed to things going horribly wrong...
It's because in the movies they kinda make Ron pointless so that's why
the movies simply hated it when ron is being useful.
I think Ron always get captured first because he’s the “poorest” so people think that he’s not as powerful
Believe me professor,i've been asking myself the same for past 5 months(a new commer though)
I’m using this scene for an edit I’m making. It’s gonna show this but have the fitness graham packer test playing over it
Where is the video?
The trio practically got caught because of Hermione. She left her scarf tied around the tree and the Snatchers were able to track them down through her perfume smell from the scarf she felt behind. During this film, almost every time the trio got into trouble was because of her: they got discovered at the Ministry prematurely because she didn't think about the Polyjuice Potions longevity, Ron got seriously injured because Hermione changed the destination to another in the middle of their Apparition and Scabior the Snatcher almost found Hermione in the forest by smelling her perfume. All of this was to demonstrate that Hermione is not perfect. She makes mistakes, even fatal ones.
she didn't blindly change the destination of the apparition, they had a tag a long with them they had to shake, ron was also completely fine because of the dittany they brought with them. There's a valid reason to be said for how she got them caught out here but randomly trying to pull together every other misfortune under an umbrella of one character is rather dense
hermione hater damn
She left the scarf so that Ron could know they had moved on from the destination. She changed the apparition mid-way due to that unwanted mouse of the Ministry, whose name I forgot. The Polyjuice Potion was again their entire fault because all three of them didn't think of the longevity. She is not perfect, yes, but her actions usually had reasons that unceremoniously went wrong.
The films take a lot of outrageous liberties with the plot. They got caught at the ministry because Harry removed Mad Eye's magical eye from Umbridge's office and thus caused an alert about intruders. She changed the destination of the Apparition because a Death Eater grabbed them during the process and reached Grimmauld Place, causing the Fidelius Charm to break and reveal the location of the hideout to Voldemort's servants. And they got caught at the forest because Harry said Voldemort's name out loud, causing the taboo to be activated and giveaway their location and disable protective enchantments to Ministry Surveillance.
In the book they were caught because Harry was a dumbass and said Voldemorts name even though Ron told him not to because that word is a taboo which is a jinx that allows people to be tracked when they use Voldemorts name, Harry is too in his ways and says Voldemorts name anyway, even when Ron literally yells to stop him half way through which leads to them being surrounded
Never understood why they didn’t just grab each other arms and disapparated.
Cause they left all their stuff behind and the snatchers were too close, they could de-appared with them if someone grabbed one of the trio
SARAH95 true
Disapparated**
@@SARAH-cw2lz well, if snatchers caught them, which they did, they still would have left all their belongings behind. Also, if someone grabbed them, they would have to deal with only one of them, not a huge amount
The death eaters can cast charms to prevent dissapparating
This is my favourite scene it was so good!
Hermione be like: she’s a runner she’s a track star 🏃♀️
1:10 And so the Death Eaters took the first brother for his own...
I like how Scabior speaks
I love how there’s no music
"You look nervous."
Great cutting
How on earth did the snatchers know where the trio are ???
Just seems unbelievable that they appear in the middle of a group of snatchers
Well in the books it was becoz Harry said Voldermort's name and his name was tabooed. So that's how they got captured and they didn't run or anything. They didn't even know it Harry at first becoz Hermoine had used the Jinx as soon as she heard them inside their tent
The trio: **start protecting themselves**
Snatchers: *boo*
The trio: 👁👄👁 *RuN*
Well don't hang about. SNATCH em!
Tbh I think they could've defended themselves for a little longer. Not certain but it just seems like they could've done something more or maybe even apparated if necessary. They had more power to do that.
They couldn't have apparated because, as they were separated, they wouldn't have know where each one ended up.
@@andro99991 That's a good point but I still feel like they could've done a better job. And I'm also surprised they didn't set up an "apparation safe spot" for situations like that. Just a thought. They seem to go from semi-powerful to literally throwing random curses behind them and praying they'll hit essentially.
