I made one with a small hole at the bottom of the box with a computer fan pulling the air out , so it comes in from the small hole at the bottom and pushed it out at the top . Stays at 65 percent humidity inside. Works great for anyone that doesnt have a dedicated room to dry in

The adding of the ducting hole to use the air circulation of your continuing grow was an absolute head slapper! Wondering why I didn't think of that since I have plenty of extra 6" ducting. Amazing idea.

about to harvest myself, i went and bought the box and framed it up the same, but with a few slight tweeks... before i seen this video.. seems like were on the same page. I bought a 2x2 carbon air filter and cut a spot in the bottom of the box for it, taped and sealed it up good. sat the box up on runners so its off the floor, on one side i cut a door out that i can tape back shut to check and hang the plants on the dowels. on the top of the sealed box, i added a 6" collar to connect to my ac infinity t6 with controller. put the temp and rh sensor in the box, put the cap on the end of the fan that sits on the top of the collar. fresh air enters by fan propulsion under the box, fed up through the carbon filter that is mold resistant etc.. when the temps and rh gets out of wack the fan is setup for pre determined conditions. it pulls air out when rh is high. forcing the box to flush its self of any stale air.. the stale air and funk from the box is fed through a carbon filter and outside through the attic... brilliant work sir. had i seen this prior it would have shortened my home depot trip.. follow my in sta gra m . co m / growsomethingwithtrae2.0 will be posting pics of it tomorrow.

Wen you say a tent. I never seen a grow tent. Does the duct need a fan to pull out the air ? Doe's the box pull out to much humite ?
Just made mine and put a mini fan on the top with that be alright with some vents on the bottom bringing in the air or will it dry too quick?
Im using a wardrobe box from Home Depot, comes with a rod and has holes in it already.

Do i connect the vent to a tube or just remove the circle- How do I know if it is too humid- barometer?
Mike Felber yes connect it to a tube and run the tube to something that will suck the air out... that will keep the airflow around your buds so they dont get moldy... A hygrometer will tell you your humidity.

I did the same, tent is in garage and temps inside tent is good but garage gets cool overnight. Could that cause bud rot?
yes it can cause rot if its too cold and humidity is too high. the colder air holds more moisture than warm/hot air. unfortunately there's no VPD chart for drying.

he said to connect it to a tent that is always being used to grow where on the other end of that tent it has a filter. so i think it might filter out the smell but who knows.

That's far too small of an area to hang and dry my cannabis from I use a five-by-five hydroponic tent and have a charcoal filter inside of it and I also have a air intake filter on the outside bringing fresh uncontaminated air into my tent while the charcoal filter takes out the smell from the tent and any kind of wasted all there. That is the best way to dry your cannabis and you also need a dehumidifier unless you live in the desert. In which case you probably need a humidifier. my plants are huge they would never fit in that little box and I would need about 15 boxes to fill them all and I wouldn't forget which ones were and where and thinks that at much better for me to label the plant and take the label out of the plant when it's done growing and clip it onto one of the branches of that plant that's hanging and keep the plant all of single plant and when I start manicuring I'll cut the branches off the plant and go from there. I grow my medical cannabis for myself and I don't want any contamination from my basement to get into the plants and you never know what mold spores there are and other shit flying around your basement. I also have those same type of filters on every single growing chamber I have which there's three of them one for vegging and cloning in that type of thing and two for budding(5X5 &4X8) and that's just for myself it's almost a full-time job keeping up with just those two tents. And I have a veg room on top of it but that's usually easy and a lot less water then the budding tents are. and I have two different five by five tents one is for the drying and one is for budding
