That is amazing! Every time I dry my plants I just hang them whole upside down in the tent they were blooming in. Then, I pop new seeds in a humidity dome in my spare bedroom. By the time my plants are ready to trim, I have new babies to put in the tent.
You have been very logical upon your purchases and what items not to purchase and I disagree on none, I agree 100%. This rotating rack is amazing and they way you set up the fans and filter, nice. This will definetly be a next purchase, thanks.
I used the rotisserie from my old grill and made a chandelier out of a old broken tomato fence made a tent out of a black plastic shower curtain put a small fan pointed out works great
Really liked the fan being on the outside as I recon my fan provided a little heat in the dry tent after running for so long....Also will give me more hanging room at the top, as I noticed the ones nearer the bottom near the vent dried quicker, so I had to keep swapping them up and down. Notice you use the sae Humidity / temp reader as me, did you get the version with the app, so you can see whats going on. It's all about balance when it comes to the temp and humidity for a slow dry. 60 f and 62% are the sweet spot. but keeping those figures isn't easy as the outside humidity changes from day to night where I am and a worm evening can be a problem, I dehumidify the outer room, but the temp goes up as I need the window shut to do that. Or I open the window to let in the cooler air, but bring in the humidity as well. so my little app tells me when to go up and alternate between both. I don't fold my vents up like that, best making a scoop shape by bringing in the bottom with the velcro, so opening facing down to reduce the light going into the tent if the outer room has daylight. .
you guys really are awesome for new homegrowers to learn and with your discount codes i have saved a COUPLE bucks now on my ACI products ive ordered through amazon and now ill be ordering these drying racks as well! Thanks!
Drytents is still sold out of their chandeliers, so I kludged one off of Amazon using a pair of "round hangars with clips" and a disco ball spinner with power cord attached. I expect that this was all that Dry Tents used to prototype their "chandelier" & motor in the first place. Added an AC-I 2x2x4 tent (thanks for your code guys, I used it on Amazon) and that was that.
I'm definitely sold on that rotating drying rack! I grow and dry using the same tent (lack of space) This looks like it will work wayyy better than the towel rack I have been using 😅
@@GiviFaaip to funny, I just came from amazon and you can deff. build something close. Looks like the spinning motor there spins pretty fast. Did you already build this copy cat? Wondering how is the speed for drying?
cool setup def would go for a bit taller tent so i could pull air through the carbon filter instead of pushing it out. Its def. is more effective odor wise and for fan life.
Man, the chandler is great. Personally I try to grow start to finish as cheaply as possible. I’m not criticizing or complaining, do you. However I’ve got some great ideas from videos like this one to make my own unique set up to dry. Love the video.
Great content as always. Never thought to connect the dry tent to the main one. I’m grabbing my new tent during prime day so I definitely will be stacking this code with their deals!
hey the carousel is so cool ,sadly $93 shipping to where i live..! I use a 3x3 tent for drying & the same ac infinity fan as you too..my dry tent is doubling as my photos tent right now though.. 😎
How big of a Grow tent would I need to dry 10 plants. I grew 10 plants outdoor in a greenhouse that are humongous about 6 feet tall. I plan on clipping all the fan leaves off and leaving the sugar leaves on when I hang the plants. I will then use the AC infinity bowl Trimmer to do a final dry trim after about 7-10 days of them being hung. I am just trying to figure out how big of a tent I actually need to dry these babies in comfortably without too much cramming
I was totally just thinking about a t4 with scrubber just for my drytents like last weekend. Could totally dial in the dry and cure with the controller. Sweet
First time grower here. Im definitely convinced on this “chandy”. Such a convenient and thorough product! Promo code was definitely handy. Thank you!🙏🏾
Thats awesome man. I know this is old but informative. So the spin is the key to make it dry better? if you dont have that I guess some fans blowing not directly on the plants, cool temps and 60 humidity? Probably gonna use the spare bath.
Very good information , great video and footage my drying set up is similar to yours but without that spinning motor very interesting I like that product Highigan 👍
Good charcoal filter out of dry tent. However, charcoal obsorbs smell/ terps. So none inside the ten only concerned of smell out. 😮 Still love watching you guys.
Just attach the inlet hose from your grow tent to the outlet of the drying tent. If you haven't done so already, I put a AC Infinity inline fan on my grow tent. It works great. Now instead of all the tent walls sucking in, they are now at positive pressure. It provides the maximum growing area in the tent. This absolutely does work. I've done it. Just leave the drying tent intakes open or run your intake hose to cardboard light trap (For use as a veg. tent, attach 3+ cardboard light barriers inside the box so that they allow good airflow but block light from outside. The barriers are just cardboard walls that are fixed at top, bottom, and at one end. Alternate 3 - 4" of space at end of each light barrier for air flow ). If you use a hose on the intake, a few bends in the intake hose has much the same effect. Tape works to block light leaks. For a more permanent fix, construct the light trap out of plywood. I intend to get a 2 x 4' or 2 x 5' tent for' just this purpose. And it will double up as a veg. tent too.
hey again. My bud dont seem to be curing.I put it in the tent for 6-9 days till they snapped off easily .Humidity and temp were tracked the whole time to appropriate levels. then trimmed them and placed them in mason jars with humidity device . it looks the same as the day i put it in the mason jars. This is the 6th week. i burp them every day for 15min. the first week, the humidity was really low. in the 40s-50s. i ended up putting bread in the jar for 2 days and removed it . then they been in the low 60s since then. they dont look as dry as most i seen on youtube and i even up my burping to 2hrs a day just so it reduces the 64% humidity. They are in a dark room too around 65 degrees. Should i spread bud on a pan and let it air dry for 24hrs or something?
You guys vibe and energy is great 👏🏻 love all your advice and flowers! Great work! Quick question, I don’t have a inline fan or filter, (not worried about smell), but is an in-line fan absolutely necessary? Or can I do without it aslong as I have plenty of airflow?
We have hung whole plants if they are small, big ones are to large so we just chop branches n hang, we try and keep the same environment over the dry time till the branches snap when bent, then its time to trim and jar!
I am a new grower. I was under the impression that the air had to go through the filter first and then into the fan. You have it set up so that the fan is connected to blow into the filter. So, I am wrong the thinking it had to be the order I had said? if I set up the fan and filter the same way you have here it will work for a grow? Fan on top into tent then the filter on top of that? Also, ty for the discount on the kit :)

So I know this is an older video but anyway. Ha. So did that setup actually filter all of the smell or just most of it? I’m thinking about setting up a dry tent like that but I was thinking about just exhausting it outside without a filter because well there’s no one around me and I don’t care about the smell except for in my house. Can’t have it all smelly for weeks on end. I just didn’t know if exhausting the air forcefully enough outside if it would dry the flower too fast. That’s why I was thinking of installing a filter. Idk. Great video though. Love watching you all

I have the same dry tent company dry tent and chandelier and my motor spins my chandeliers way too fast much faster than yours to the point I have hung a couple of socks from the clips to try and add more weight to help slow the revolutions...any suggestions?
I had made a comment about my plants was getting to much water.I design the soil myself. Its acts like it's holding the water forever,or 6 days.To day I saw a video about phosphorus. My plants have a redness about half the way down the stem. The video was about to much light,I have about a 1000 watts on the plants. So,I'm planning on raising the light tonight. To see what happens, sence I run my light at night anyway,I will get back with you all in a couple days, cool.
