I will never understand why health facilities do not make it comfortable for the caregiver as well as the patient.
I'm really loving the encouragement you're giving us about art. I've not created much for a long time as I let my physical issues take my joy away. Now I see that, I refuse to let it steal anymore joy so am making a conscious effort to create and follow along with you. I'm so proud of how my little girl picture turned out, I printed it out and it's now hung in my grans room for her to look at. I will definitely start the art journaling, art has always been the only real talent I have and unfortunately life circumstances led to me stifling it. I think I'm now ready to indulge it more and find my own style. It's said that physical issues turn up whenever the soul doesn't have a way of expressing itself, the inner must communicate its dis-ease to the conscious using the only way it has, bodily sensations. Im learning to listen to myself more and give it what it wants. It wants me to create! Thank you so much Kayla for everything you do. You're enriching lives left and right!🌠🌌🥰

I loved hearing Big Daddy's story read aloud. He is a great writer and story-teller.
I didn’t comment on Big Daddy’s video, but I did enjoy his story and his reading of it. You would only catch me DEAD in a swamp in Louisiana. There is no way I would voluntarily be in a swamp! Not even in a boat!
Sometimes play a few games of solitaire on my phone to relax before I sleep.
But…every night, I replay your videos to fall asleep. Your voice always relaxes me. 🥰

Nice hotel. Rest and have fun. I can't imagine having to travel so much to go to hospital and doctors. My hospital is 20 minutes away. enjoy your hotel room and hope you all get enough rest.

A long day for sure! The motel is very nice. That is a nice pencil set holder. This straight coloring is going to be a good thing to unwind and distress. I woke up thinking of you this morning hoping you are safe and arriving in good time for your medical procedure. I am praying everything goes well. Sleep once they get you hooked up! Praying that infusion does its job!

To unwind, I read. Im reading 'The Great Pain Deception' by Steve Ozanich, amazing book about pain and has changed how I view it all. I started lighting candles too, make sure to 'get ready' for bed so my brain recognises its time to sleep. The dim candle light also communicates its night time. I have gorgeous smelling body lotions and give myself a hand massage. I have also started listening to The Mindful Movement on youtube. I do one of their healing meditations to make my body calm down regardless of what my mind is doing. My fearful mind is no longer running the show! All these things are slowiy becoming routines and im feeling so much calmer in the daytime.
I pray to Jesus and listen to the bible at bedtime . It calms me and helps pain. Sometimes I add in videos like this to relax extra long

Glad everything went good with infusion. Hotel property is very pretty. lol i love yall with the chips. Never seen those before. YOu are all set up with your colored pencils in cases. Thats really nice. I am so happy that coloring has made you happy. I color going to start diamond painting love to crochet but my fingers hurt so cant do it as much as I would like. All of that calms me. Big Daddy is a excellent reader also. I WANT him to do more.Oh i watch and listen to you also that calms me you calm me. THOSE fur babies will be glad to see you and big daddy.

I shoot a cup of Children’s Triaminic Allergy & Cough to unwind. 😊 I have good nights & bad nights. My nose always stops up. I’m allergic to dust & I don’t dust much. 😮 you sound so much like me doing something to relax before bed. I might do that 4 hours after hubby goes to bed at 10pm….Or 6 hours. Depends on if I clean kitchen, do laundry, etc… I get up several times for snacks or water or chores, etc…
I love to pick on my husband too. He has low threshold hold for questions. lol. 😂 I’m usually plucking the nerve to make him irritable but it’s funny to me. He’s like an only child. He was change of life baby. His older bros were 13 & 11 when he was born.
Likes quiet. I had 5 sisters & had to talk louder than all of them to be heard. 😅 It’s loud & chaotic when we all get together. 3 of them have grandkids. My poor mama is 87 taking care of my 96 year old daddy. It’s kinda really sweet & sad. She does hire a helper 4 days a week.
Any who… I’m about to finish kitchen & get a load of clothes outta the dryer & put towels in the dryer & go run a quick bath & hop in the bed. Gonna go see our daughter today. 🎉
I hope Big Daddy snoozes today if that appts long today.

Glad the infusion went well Kayla! I swear, I can't stop coloring 😂 You have totally enabled me. I told my daughter that I can't say I color like a kindergartner because I'm definitely a middle school colorist 😂 I stay stressed a lot and it is so nice to unwind with something you don't have to think about too much. I really enjoy hanging out with you and I look forward to seeing more stories from Big Daddy! 🤗

I had a reaction to a blood infusion and it was scary. The Benadryl made me feel so sleepy and the nurses kept asking me how I was feeling over and over. I was so tired the next day. I hope you do much better than I did! Enjoy the hotel.❤️❤️❤️❤️

I'm glad your infusion went well. I had my monthly infusion for RA this afternoon. Thankfully, my rheumatologist's office and infusion lab is only a little over an hour away. Hopefully you get good results from yours.

Kayla, did you watch Elsbeth? That was my favorite show of the season. I normally head to bed around midnight. On my Kindle I read a little in my Bible. I am currently in Songs of Solomon then I look for videos of pa da bears. I get a kick out of them. I start trying to sleep around 2. I don't sleep very long stretches because of pain. I give up on the sleep thing by 9 or 9:30 and start all over again. I call it the pain game. lol
