Grew up in California and have been to Arizona many times but never to the Grand Canyon. My dad wasn't a fan and thus never took us there. We are really enjoying seeing Dylan and Trae travel around in that huge RV and living on the road. There is a lot to see and I hope they enjoy themselves a making some great memories. It must be great to just time a leisurely drive around the United State and visit parks and absorb nature. The great thing is is that each state will provide you with a new cultural experience as well as a diversity in geography and weather. What a dream vacation. Thanks for sharing your experiences guys. We really like you guys a lot. ♥ Mila and Rich in Seattle ♥

Hey Mila and Rich, if you guys have the chance, definitely consider making the journey to the Grand Canyon and village. It's truly worth the drive, never disappoints, and each visit brings new memories. Our goal is to explore every state, embracing diverse climates, wildlife, and cultures. Trae is immersing himself in the adventure with Dylan, and we hope he'll continue to join us on future trips. Traveling with loved ones always makes the experience more special. Thank you for tuning in, and leaving such a kind comment, we truly value your support! ❤️
P.S There is always room for more, you guys are welcome to join us

It's crazy how treacherous even 5 ft is to go....can't imagine hiking 2-3 days, camping.

The Coyotes are usually pretty shy and run away if they see a human. My housing area usually irrigates the landscape areas at night which brings many coyotes down from the mountains for the water. They are extremely agile and can jump a high fence with ease. Keep your small pets indoor at night as the coyotes will feed on them. They have an eerie howl when are in larger groups and sounds like they are having a party! ruclips.net/video/FHQvb3p71Zk/видео.html

It's reassuring to learn that coyotes are timid and tend to avoid humans, I hope we can cross them off the list of creatures to worry about at first sight! Bears and mountain lions are our biggest fears. The coyote's fence jumping skills would definitely make them quite the agile troublemakers and that group howl does give off a party vibe! I can only imagine how living in an area with them could get noisy. Appreciate you sharing the video link! :)

Were you doing overnights in a Walmart parking lot (car park) during this time?
I like to see where you are staying the night like you did in your earlier trip in the rented RV.
I have spent many days out in a forest in northern Lower Michigan in a snowstorm with heavy and light snow fall. It is a beautiful thing to watch in the quiet of the woods waiting for that whitetail deer to appear.

Your experience sounds amazing and one that I would like to attempt one day.
As for overnights we did boon dock (free camp) Walmart, cracker barrel and truck stops.
We try to save money where we can 😀

You don't want to get too close to elk. They are trained over the years by being given hand-outs from the public. One of the interesting things about them is the calls that make that can be heard for miles. Search RUclips for this haunting sound. You will see what I mean. It isn't hard to see why it is considered a mystical place from the inhabitants thousands of years ago.

Thankyou for the heads up we are staying west for this series.
We would love to see a tornado from a safe distance (does that even exist). 😅
Praying for anyone affected by the recent wild weather 🙏🏻
