Any info on if/when we'll have a loop bypass option using the ML10X? This flexi switching option would be great for activating/deactivating overdrives on the fly
Hi @Morningstar Engineering, on a single preset A, is it possible to toggle preset A and B using "release", toggle C and D using "long press", toggle E and F using "double tap", and so on?
Sorry, I am slightly confused because you said on a single preset A, you want to toggle between presets A and B, C and D, E and F? Are these Morningstar presets? You can also send us an email at ‘help@morningstarfx.com’. We provide support from there. A service ticket will be created for you and we will be able to follow up easily. __________________________________
We have a video about that too! ruclips.net/video/VtSx68vfjS8/видео.htmlsi=k0YDJvHRGyVIlcVv Since the video, we’ve made some improvements as well that you can read about in the manual and try in the Editor.
So how are you still able to toggle between pos 1 and 2 after you have turned off toggle mode? What's the point of turning it on in the first place?... Never mind. I think I got it now. By using a separate toggle message.
So toggle mode is for toggling between pos. 1 and 2..... But i can also toggle between pos. 1 and 2 without toggle mode, for that, i have to "say" toggle with a "toggle preset message" wich is quite the same without affecting possible later programmed messages. Now i understand some things so much better. What about the order of the messages? How do i know where to place them?
I also, just got this concept. I feel like the “order of commands” and some of the subordinate commands could be explained better in the manual, and definitely addressed better in the videos.
Messages are sent in order from top to bottom, 1 to 32. They are sent extremely quickly so there is no perceivable gap between them, but they do take effect in order of their sequence.
@@MorningstarEngineering OK Thanks for the information. Some Videos are oder... It would be cool to remake some of them with the mc6 pro and his New posdibilities
I was trying to figure one thing out. Let’s say I have position 1 of a preset, let’s call it “Song A Verse” , and position 2 of that same preset as “Song A chorus”. While I’m playing and I’m at position 1, I see “Song A Verse” showing on the LED screen. But the problem is at that time I can’t see the name of position 2 and I don’t know what position 2 will bring me to. I’m thinking if I should set up position 1 and write the real name of position 1 on the display of position 2 so I can see what’s gonna happen when I stomp on it. BUT, if so, I won’t be able to recognize the preset when it’s bypassed cuz it’s always displaying position 1 when it’s bypassed (which showing the real name of position 2) Sorry I wonder if I made myself clear….

Awesome video, don’t know if someone can help me here. if there is a forum for Morningstarr, let me know, but Ill post my question here. Im trying to make it to where my MC6 Pro syncs to my DAW in toggle mode. When i switch presets in Mainstage or Gig Performer, it doesn’t update the MC6 Pro toggle state to Midi sync, even with midi sync engaged in the DAW If i have Preset A, with a “Chorus” stomp off, and Preset “B” with a Chorus stomp on, it will not receive the midi messages, even when i map it to CC10 Value 1-10 (i tried them all) to all outputs, even the ports, i found, send globally to port 1, regardless if I disengaged them in my daw.

I have to say, Morningstar tutorial videos are some of the best videos I've watched. 😁
I whole-heartedly agree...I love MS...but there is always room for improvement and feedback.
I also think your demos are perfect!
Such great and clear work. Keep it up!
This is a great video for a new Morningstar user!!
Toggle Preset is gold! Thanks for this
Thanks guys! Was just trying to figure this out last night. Lol

Hi. This function is currently in the works and we will announce as soon as it is ready. Thank you!

What if we want to cycle between 3 or more messages from a single switch? Toggling with single taps, similar to snapshots on the XS Stomp??
