      @Be REAL Yes and I think that the people in the industry have also lost sense of normalcy. I can’t tell you the amount of people who look like they have gone a little overboard with the lip fillers and cheeks so it’s no wonder people lose their individuality.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  Год назад +1

      @Be REAL You bring up excellent points. I think that’s exactly what has been happening. This look is everywhere on social media and in my industry as well, even the sales reps who sell filler and toxins have unnatural lip enhancements. So the unnatural look becomes normalized. I really like that people like Joe Rogan point it out. I can see how it would make natural looking people feel like they need to look exaggerated in order to be perceived as attractive.

  • @mamamua4644
    @mamamua4644 Год назад +16

    I believe there are many women who want to look like themselves and their best and open to surgical enhancements but have not jumped the gun because of the mass of unnatural looking woman or the swift trends. It’s nice to know there are doctors who are aware that beauty is really all about the uniqueness of the individual and the natural approach.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  Год назад +3

      Yes I think the unnatural look scares a lot of people out of getting surgical and non-surgical enhancements. I don’t love that I see so many faces promoted on social media that look the same. I’t so common to see a narrow pinched nose with over-injected lips. It really makes me appreciate individuality, because it’s so scarce here in LA and on social media.

    What Joe Rogan said is exactly what I've been saying for years. Nothing against plastic surgery but you can't try and pass off a massive bum with tiny legs. If that makes you happy, so be it, but it's also extremely irresponsible for celebrities and influencers to be lying to millions of young insecure people who are more than willing to shell out their hard-earned money for what can be very unsafe procedures.
    Ps love your channel! I've watched several videos so far and have been educated on quite a lot. Thank you :) I love the way you approach the subjects at hand through the anthropological aspects as this is what I'm currently studying.

    • @NaturalInjector

      Yes no shame in having plastic surgery but when they deny it, this tells us how powerful beauty is. So glad you love the channel and the anthropological approach! Thank you for your comment Alexandra. 🙏

    I agree with your statement that some providers will profit off their client'' body dysmorphia. I've also noticed that providers who look unnatural themselves will enable these unnatural looking enhancements. So its oossible they genuinely think it looks good.

    Excellent video, women in there 50 -70’s are constantly having surgical procedures to make them look like they are 20 and they have 70 year old bodies. Idk what the older generations with BBL's are planning to do, whether they're going 2 downsize like other celebrities that had theirs removed or not...but with us Gen Z + Zillenials we're very much into the 2000s + Y2K fashions + many of us are the wearing the sort of skinny 00's fashions. My friends mentioned that skinny never really went out of style even during the BBL era bcuz most designer fashion houses still used thin models on runways + ad campaigns during that so called era + are continuing 2 use thin models. The women in my circle don't desire bbl's, they like the idea of a toned round behind but a natural one and still a slim figure so that can fit into all kinds of clothes + 2000s style clothes. I'm find with skinny being a thing again tho I hope heroin chic + the toxic skinny doesn't come back as that's quite unhealthy. There's tons of content associated w' skinny 2000s trends on Pinterest + social media. Sometimes ppl take trends + body modifications 2 the extreme when all that's really needed is a subtle change or a subtle effect or no change at all. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  Год назад +1

      Thank you for your detailed comment Tiffany. I don’t think thin really went out of style but I do think that having a round 🍑 was not as adored before the 1990’s and became more popular in the 2000’s from celebs like J-Lo. Before the 80’s they didn’t make a big deal over 🍑’s.

    I got plastic surgery. Very little. It was just spot liposuction. Contouring. I always hated my thighs. I still do, but not as much. I'm still healing. It was just to my inner thighs and knees. I'm very thin, lean musculature. Very fit overall, but my legs never looked fit, didn't match my upper. It was a very personal decision. I did it just for me. Plastic surgery should always be the last straw after trying diet and exercise. It was my last straw. Has nothing to do with others but just how I view myself. My surgeon was very honest as to what could and couldn't be done. I'm happy I did it.

    Such a great video!
    Unnatural is never a good look, and I honestly think most people want a natural but enhanced look. Not talking about people with body dysmorphia now, but I believe people tend to go blind after a while having cosmetic procedures regularly, especially with fillers. They get more and more, and they are'nt really able to perceive how they end up looking. It's a very good thing when providers are like you, who are guiding the clients and giving good advice.

    • @NaturalInjector

    Great content as always! I see this things not even only with woman bjt also with man. Its crazy how people seek a look to feel better not seeing the internal mental issue that has to be adressed. In my consultation I talk a lot about the wish and the motivation behind an unnatural look....most of them can't even answer that in a genuine way. Its insane how much psycology hides behind.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  Год назад

      Thank you for your in depth comment Dr. Cerón. That’s so interesting that you talk to your patient’s behind their motivation for the unnatural look. There is a lot of underlying psychology that motivates people. I think we as providers need to advise people more about the negative aspects of looking unnatural. It’s a very difficult conversation.

    You should do a video on platysmal banding. Also, are saggers or sinkers more likely to get platysmal banding sooner?

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  Год назад

      Hi. I will definitely consider that topic thanks for the suggestion. As far as sinkers vs saggers and who is more likely to get platysmal banding, it’s probably more apparent in sinkers, as their neck skin would be thinner, but saggers may have more loss of elasticity. It all depends.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  11 дней назад

      I agree! All great points. I think ppl buy luxury items so they can distinguish themselves from the middle and lower class. As a matter of fact in Dr. Dayan’s book he speaks about how plastic surgery used to be used for that reason. Back in the day, most of the ppl who got plastic surgery were wealthy and they wanted ppl to know they had work done. So for example, they didn’t mind a nose that was very different from their natural nose. Then it all changed when injectables came into the market.

    I remember I woman I worked with once, who had very obvious and unnatural work done to her face (I'm guessing she was in her late 50s-early 60s) adamantly pointing out how these guys "kept staring" at her. She clearly assumed they were staring because they found her exceptionally attractive. I've seen her younger photos and current photos of her sister-- had she taken a conservative approach she'd look great. Maybe not entirely wrinkle-free or ageless, but natural and herself. It was sad to see that her perception was so skewed-- she wanted to look beautiful (like we all do) but lost sight of the natural features that made her beautiful in the first place.

      @andywithan_M 6 месяцев назад

      I noticed your question wasn't ever answered. Just wanted to say after tons of research, comments from women who've had the procedure, and as a general rule of thumb...it's usually better to start with a smaller amount. You can always go back and add a little more if you feel the need. But the opposite is not true. If you went with more and didnt like the result...you would have to wait for it to dissolve on it's own (which could take months, possibly years), or choose to have the filler dissolved with hylauronase, then have them refilled after waiting a minimum of 2 weeks. And that's extra time & money for you.
