I think teeth alignment and the bite can also play a huge role in how your jaw sits and the recession of the chin. Before going in for fillers perhaps a visit to the orthodontist might solve more than just the chin.
Chins are so key to proportion. I am 62 and only do tweaks with filler here and there, very small amounts- I decided to use some filler in my chin crease (which can get deeper with age) and I’m telling you a little went a long way - made a difference but nobody would know 😉
I'm 60 and because of a medicine giving to My Mother while pregnant with me in England I started loosing My teeth, My mouth or lips have sunk in to My mouth, so embarrassing!!
100% agree with this video. I always had recessed chin, basically my chin was straight making my face very short, nose bigger and I had double chin as well. I recently had chin and jawline fillers and honestly it changed my life. My whole face looks so different, more beautiful. I like myself now. But also, apart from chin filler I think cheek filler is underrated as well. I think with profile balancing chin and cheeks play a big role
May I ask your age? I have the same issues you mentioned, however I’m 40. If I knew about chin and jaw filler options 20 years ago I would have done that. But at this point with the onset of jowls and marionette lines I’m thinking I’ll start with building collagen further up, using bio stimulators for the temples and peri-auricular area like the example in this video.
@@MadameSarah I’m 38! I got chin and jawline filler when I was 37. You can start with microneedling or mesotherapy with some collagen cocktails but for me it wasn’t the case because I literally had no chin. So the only option for me, apart from surgery, was to get a filler
As someone who has gotten chin filler due to trying to lengthen a round face (and then got the filler removed because I didn't like the results) I think that getting botox into the masseter is a much better way to lengthen the face and make the chin look longer. This is just my personal experience and I understand that we all have different face shapes, but chin filler for me just wasn't the answer.
@@babymamaz9871 me, yes I did as I also have very full large lips naturally so they stick out a lot. I absolutely love what chin filler did to enhance my look!
I tried temporary chin filler myself and didn't like the result either. It felt like the filler migrated to that little fatty spot right underneath my chin instead of giving me the slight projection I expected. I was told the results would be subtle at best so I wasn't expecting a miracle, but I definitely wouldn't do it again.
I think you're missing something important. Too much "chin" make the face look more masculine and not as soft and feminine. In the example you gave at 08:12 faces 1 and 2 look much more feminine and much more beautiful than face 0. I agree that face 0 look better than 3 because 3 is too much. But I feel like you're suggesting that a feminine face is somehow less attractive than a masculine face which is (what's in trend now) but isn't how timeless beauty is in my opinion.
Thanks for the informative video! My main concern is filler migration causing a double chin with time. I also don't want to go in the cycle of filler dissolving either. Any thoughts on that?
I think the pics of you before and after are beautiful. Even if you had not done anything. You would be equally beautiful. My boyfriend has a chin similar to yours and I think its part of the reason I find him so handsome. Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. We are all a little different in some way. Those imperfections sometimes are perfect.
Thanks for sharing your story. Our chin’s definitely change with age and they lose length. Glad you’re happy with it. Curious to see how many syringes they used
There is a lot of lympathic vessels in this area and as a result of this and gravity (which also pulls edema in a downwards direction), putting fillers in the chin is not a good idea.
@@jelenajm1160 thanks for your comment I’ve been doing fillers in my chin and my patient’s chins for years with no issue of it blocking lymphatic drainage This is an issue with filler to the under eye but not so much the chin.

I have not heard of this being an issue with chin filler. It tends to happen more in the lips because ppl over do that area a lot more and the lips have very unique anatomy
Same, I really want to try chin filler but I'm sacred of migration and building up, filler is filler after all no matter if you put it in the lips, cheeks or chin
Thanks for your comment Peter. Yes I like to use Voluma and sometimes Restylane Defyne. There is also Volux now which just got approved for the chin/jawline area.
This is true. I JUST realized that my chin is slightly recessed, andI'm JLO'S age.😮 I never realized that it's my chin that bothers me, NOT my lower lip and jaw. Oh well, lololol.

My chin looks like the after of the last girl with the oval face shape who did 1 ml of filler Im 23 and no shadows on my chin from front view. I worry it would make me look too pointy and masculine due to my strong jaw line. Would I still be a good candidate
I’m still in the works of following up with the models. I’m seeing them back from their 2nd treatment early next month and I may do 1 more treatment so it may take awhile. It takes time for the collagen to build and we have to do a few treatments. Hope it’s worth the wait. Prob suspect it will be out in June or July in time for the summer body hype 😉
I like to use Sculptra for anti-aging to the chin, to restore the lost volume but it cannot give the same type of projection that filler can. We are mimicking bone and filler is a thick gel. This video explains a bit more 👉 ruclips.net/video/XA8EaNGiLZA/видео.htmlsi=PIR4uGsMN-iqLOnZ
@@NaturalInjector what about bellafill? I hear bellafill is thicker and chin is an acceptable place to put it I’ve seen videos of people getting good results for a thicker chin augmentation plus it’s longer lasting
@@LucasRodrigues-eq4my I don’t do Bellafill because I’m not crazy about putting polymethyl methacrylate into someone’s skin because it doesn’t dissolve, it stays in the skin permanently.

The only reason I even consider it is because I’ve tried temporary filler in the past and I liked the way my chin looked- I don’t want the hassle of going back and forth to keep maintaining my results there. I’d rather just get one and done. So that’s why.
@@LucasRodrigues-eq4my no I don’t currently use it because of what I mentioned. Why not just keep getting filler? After doing the chin a few times I have kept my results for several months. I think keeping on top of Botox to my mentalis has really helped me maintain my chin filler results because my muscle is not working against the filler. Even Bellafill requires re-treatment. I don’t do it but the sales team came out awhile back to inform us about it and it’s something you do have to eventually re-treat. Our faces are always changing, we lose bone and soft tissue so not many things besides a nose job is one and done
There is nothing to my knowledge that be done non-invasively to my knowledge if your chin projects further than your chin. You can however inject the labiomental crease, the horizontal crease below our lips, from our lips to our chin, that happens to us as we age.
Ana definitely had an implant or genio. And also some a neck job. Look at the skin below her jaw in the before and after, it looks way better in the after with the more defined jawline. But the chin is a bigger issue with men because you can clearly see ana looks attractive in both. While with a man having a recessed chin will always make you look homely.
Type 3 needs an implant. $5000 in CA. How much is all of this filler going to cost? How often? Something you didn’t mention was certain races have more recessive chins. Caucasians have the best chin projection. Do your research! The success or failure of an implant is highly dependent on the skill of the surgeon

no it wasn’t airbrushed out. I use an app that takes the person off the backgrounds but sometimes they don’t outline the person perfectly but her nose in both the pictures are pretty apparent and not faded out
I think it's because the video is missing a important point, which is that longer chin makes the face look more masculine and less feminine and soft, which doesn't always work. It will work on a more androgenous face but naturally soft feminine faces would look awful with a longer chin.
Thanks for your comment. Thing is, she had a pointy chin beforehand I don’t think the after treatment made it anymore pointier than it was before. Her face is an oblong heart shaped face and yes she is very narrow to her lower face, naturally. This is why we did Sculptra to try to give her a little width to her face. We are also planning to do jawline filler.
