    I was thrilled to come across your video regarding ancestry as it pertains to facial structure.
    About 30 years ago I met a world-renowned facial reconstruction plastic surgeon who commented that I must have Native American heritage. I said yes and asked how he knew. He said my cheekbones are Native American.
    I told him my father has high cheekbones (Polish). He said they're not the same.
    He went on to say that my cheekbones are Eastern seaboard... Maryland... Piscataway Indian bones.
    I was stunned! In the 17th Century, my great grandfather from England, Giles Brent, married the daughter of the Emperor Tayac Kittamaquund of the Piscataway Nation -- Southern Maryland.
    He then made a sketch of my father's cheek bone and one of mine. He told me to notice my father's cheekbone next time I saw him. He was right!
    I never told my father because he was so proud that I had his cheekbones.

    I'm a 45 year old woman and my natural eyebrow position is low. I over-plucked in my early 20s and my brows never grew back so now I draw them on in a higher, more flattering position than they were before.
    My eyelids are fairly deep set with a big visible eyelid, but only when I lift my brows. If I let them relax all the way, the excess skin drops and then they are hooded.
    I first had botox in my 30s for my horizontal forehead lines (from constantly raising my brows) and I did NOT like it. Major heaviness and I couldn't lift my brows at all for about 2 months.
    Since then, I only get botox in my crows feet and just at the end of each eyebrow for a slight lift. The crows feet works well, though only lasts about a month. I've tried several different injection techniques to get an eyebrow lift, but none really do anything.
    I've also had botox in my glabella, even though I don't have any 11 lines at all. When I frown, those lines don't form, but I get a horizontal line across the top of my nose / in between my eyes, just on the right side, instead. I think this is because my eyebrows are low.
    Also, regardless of whether I've had botox, when I frown, my outer eyebrows and eyelids go so far down. I look like a weird, sad owl! There is no visible frowning or scrunching between my brows (apart from that partial horizontal line). It's SO annoying!!!

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  5 месяцев назад

      Thank you for sharing your story. If you only see your eyelid crease when you’re raising your brows and at rest you can’t see your eyelid crease it sounds like you have a hooded eye shape. The Botox brow lift doesn’t work for everyone. It’s probably beneficial for you to keep treating your glabella to avoid lowering your bows as much. It also sounds like you can benefit from treating the procerus area so you can minimize the small horizontal line. I’ve never seen any raising of eyebrows from treating the crows feet alone, when looking at before and after photos that is. Did you see a lift to the tail of your eyebrows from treating the crows feet in your pictures?

    • @ladybaabaa3294
      @ladybaabaa3294 4 месяца назад +2

      @@NaturalInjector Thank you so much for replying! 🙏 No, I never get a lift to my eyebrow tail when I get my crows feet done or when botox is injected a bit higher up and just underneath the lateral brow area. Nothing happens, but I always wonder if it's because my brows are drawn higher than they naturally would be. (I would love to have an upper bleph, but can't afford it)
      I will definitely get a top up in my glabella and also the procerus! When I frown, that's the only line that appears. Thank you again!

    Great video Emily, I am European descent and do have hooded eyes , kind of low eyebrows, and brow ridge , it never bother me when I was young( I don’t know why ppl think that hooded eyes are not beautiful. I never even knew or care that they hooded. I always had compliments on my bluish grey eyes. ) m but as aging, they becoming more prominent, and I started not liking them as much, well it’s definitely bother me ,so I just started getting some dysport, a few times a year. The last time I had, with a new provider was not bad, although I would like little bit lift of brow on outer side of the eye if it’s possible. But really need to find someone who does better customization. The place I went were charged by area, not by units, I don’t think it’s good for me, maybe someone who wants frozen face😳😱😂 Have a blessed day🙏❤️

      I think the hooded eyes are sexy! I liked Taylor Swift better before her surgery imo. of course when you get older it’s not as attractive because it hangs over the eye and makes your eyes smaller and more difficulty seeing but I personally like that type of eyes it looks cute on younger females.

    The last 2 times I got Botox on my forehead I got Spock brows. Lasted about 2-3 weeks. Two different providers. I even told the second provider my brows dropped the last time and it didn’t make any difference. I get Botox 1-2x per year. Usually vacations and holidays. I’m due to get it again and I’m thinking either Botox up higher on my forehead or really cut back the units. My lines are not bad at all and I may just forego the forehead and just do glabella, procerus, smile and crows feet.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  3 месяца назад

      Thanks for sharing your story. Telling the provider your brows dropped last time would usually result in them using less Botox. Higher up on your brows isn’t usually how to prevent the over arching or Spock brows from happening. If anything you may need a tiny bit more Botox. Spock brows are usually a very easy fix by adding just a few more units

      Saying excess skin and excess fat is in comparison to the other eye shapes. It’s not meant to be a fault. Sorry if it came off that way. I understood that there is no default ancestry or race. It’s more of a comparison to all of the eye shapes and how they differ from other eye shapes. Specifically differentiating between hooded eye shape vs monolid eye shape.
