      Yes whenever I visit Europe I notice that the women look very natural looking. It seems the anti-aging culture is not as apparent in Europe. It would be interesting to see if men’s dating preferences regarding age in Europe. Here in LA I feel like there are so many men who want to date 20 plus women that are younger than them.

      @@NaturalInjector LA is definitely its own bubble. The men I grew up with aren’t trained to look for perfect as they are in LA and the US. I feel as though we the women are putting all the pressure on ourselves. My mom doesn’t wear makeup she’s in her mid 50s my dad is smitten with after 40
      Years of marriage. My brother doesn’t like when his wife gets cosmetic treatments and understands that we all age so I think the mentality is different for men as well. I never grew up with the pressure to look a certain way. I happen to be attractive but my parents never emphasized it nor am do I see it as my only value. It’s quite nice not to be obsessed with something that won’t stay the same. Love your channel btw.

      @@raspberrykissable Thanks for sharing your story. I guess it boils down to the culture. I read an article years ago, when I first moved to LA, from the Hollywood Reporter that spoke about the difference between the LA Face vs the NY Face. Here in LA, as opposed to NY where I’m originally from, they’re obsessed with youth, celebrities and sex, since it’s the home of where Playboy was founded. In NY they are obsessed with money and power, so that’s why they respect the older, more experienced look in NY where ppl don’t mind looking their age as much. I haven’t been in NY for years so wonder if it’s changed. Curious where you are from in Europe? Glad you love the channel! 💕

Your comment “she understands that facial aging has affected her beauty” was said like it was a fact. In actuality, it’s just your opinion. It’s what you do for a living after all. But to be a better, more empowering, provider for your patients,maybe be cautious about blurring that line between fact & opinion.

      I actually agree with you that Paulina is indeed absolutely stunning. Which is why I featured her in this video. In regards to my opinion vs fact with attractions This doesn’t mean much sense to say that it’s my opinion. Attraction being an opinion and not a fact is already understood. Also I think if you ask any human being on this earth if they think that a person would be more attractive at 35 years old vs 80 years old, I think everyone would agree and have the opinion that at 35 years old we would be more attractive than 80 years old. Anyone who disagrees is probably in denial. If facial aging did not affect someone’s beauty I don’t think that this cosmetic injectable industry would exist.

      @@bettyanne9746 You make some really excellent points! A lot of times it is from the build up of filler but I also believe that filler gets a bad wrap and gets blamed for overdone faces, when it could have been caused by other things like facial fat transfer. Or, in that case where you mentioned celebrities who have access to, you would think, the best providers who would keep them looking natural, sometimes they fall victim to things that are not even filler or anything FDA approved. An example would be Priscilla Presley, who got injected with industrial silicone. This is why I love biostimulators like Sculptra! It’s very natural looking because it stimulates your skin to produce its own collagen. I use a lot of Sculptra and filler more sparingly. Filler is great for enhancements though! I just put a tiny amount of filler to my nose today to maintain my non-surgical nose tweakment.

    I’ve had a liquid facelift 2 years ago, and loved how I looked at the time. Now regret it. In hindsight, I really didn’t need it. Now some of the filler has migrated, and now in my opinion, I look more tired and 10 years older, than before I had the fillers. I am now considering a Concept facelift, and have my consultation in 2 weeks. I agree fillers are for those in their late 30’s onward, until you hit early 50’s, when by then, a surgical facelift is the answer. Despite my dissatisfaction with the outcome of my fillers, I am 61, petite small frame, and I’ve been told by many that I look in my early 50’s, even with the fillers now misplaced. I follow good skin care and eat quality food. Hope this info has helped those in their 50’s to consider my account, before embarking on a liquid facelift.

    This is probably a super hot take here, but I genuinely think Paulina looks more attractive than Jlo, Courtney Cox, Jennifer Anniston etc. I think the reason is that some of these celebrities that are “ageless” look slightly wonky, and they have the best injectors. I say this as someone who is interested in injectables so I’m not biased, just being objective. I don’t think these celebrity men have actually aged better, but the work they had done is so subtle that they look better and less wonky. If I ever go in for filler/Botox I will ask them to be as conservative on my face as they would on a man’s lol.
    And another super hot take: with all due respect, I am so tired of hearing that men are more attractive at older ages being spread like it’s science. I’m in my 30s and have NEVER been attracted to men old enough to be my dad. Not in my 20s and not now. The male celebrity she used at that point in the video was objectively more attractive when he was younger, showing that It’s just socially acceptable for men to age. Middle aged men are not objectively more attractive than young 25 year old men with more muscle mass, tighter skin, and healthier hormone levels. This is common sense. I hope I don’t need to write another paragraph about the health of men’s sperm declining with age and how evolutionarily it makes perfect sense that men also get less attractive with age, because I’m not going to. It should be obvious.
    It’s genuinely detrimental for society. Older men often get taken advantage of by younger women who aren’t actually attracted to them and older women are further devalued by this mindset.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  Год назад +1

      Hi Jessie and thank you so much for your comment! I agree with you and I think Paulina is very attractive! I also hope people didn’t think that I meant that men become more and more attractive as they age. They are indeed less attractive as they age, I completely agree. I was just making the point that in general, they can go longer than women when it comes to looking older because for women, they care about resources and a lot of men don’t have as much resources when they’re younger ex: 25 years old. This is why facial aging tends to affect women’s attraction more. Also with regarding fertility you are right their fertility declines too but the curve is not as drastic as it is for women. You are so correct on that there are a lot of women who date men for $$ and they’re not necessarily attracted to the man. Not sure where you live but this is especially prevalent in Los Angeles.

    • @knuffelmaus7175

      More women are into younger men nowadays and men into older women (in Europe from my experience). There are some very attractive older looking guys, if they take good care of their health, but it is way easier to find an attractive guy in their 20s than in their 40s. Probably most men AND women find people in their 20s and 30s most attractive, but doesn't mean all do. Plus appearance is only one little part of attraction. If we stay superficial: a 40 looking person who moves and speaks in a really pleasant, smooth, attractive way will probably attract more people, than a 20 y.o. who moves like a stiff stick, with bad posture and talks hectically with a squeeky voice. And as soon as you get to know a person, this will affect the attraction far more than a plump cheek. Except you are in a bubble that scores really high on narcisstistic score, where partners are just used to impress the other superficial members of that bubble.

    @AdaD-pp4id 6 месяцев назад +11

    Plastic surgeons have now come out showing evidence that hyaluronic acid fillers never truly metabolize in the skin and just build up, that's why so many women start looking weird after several years of "liquid face lift tweakments". The filler is still present in your skin even years later after your last procedure and it often migrates lower down the face as muscles drop due to gravity making you look way older and going back to your injector for your next filler "fix" thinking that you'll correct the problem, but you NEVER do. You just keep adding more and more filler which ends up deforming your face. If you are younger, you'll need smaller amounts of filler at a time. Since young people have thicker fat pads and more collagen in their skin, the injected areas don't look weird, but over time if the same individuals continue to fill their faces, they end up looking weird.
    Fillers have a place in correction of minor facial issues, but to say that they put your aging on hold is unethical.
    I'm an aesthetician and have seen plenty of deformed faces in wonen who started off looking good with one or two filler treatments and ended up looking unrecognizable, puffy and actully looking older as they continued the treatments over a span of few years. Since I see many clients for several years as they keep coming back for facials and laser treatments, I have the ability to compare pre-filler photos to how my clients faces change over time and I definitely can say it's not a pretty picture.
    You also have to understand that the injectors will tell you things that you want to hear as their livelihoods depend on presenting the best case scenario and not discussing the long term issues that will develop in effort to make you feel good about the treatment and get you coming back again and again.
    Before you start doing this, please do your research. Celebrities have access to far more superior treatments, maintain good fitness levels, hydration and eat much better than your average middle class woman who works, raises children, cooks meals daily, maintains a living space and is stressed to the max. If you truly want to stay younger, look into minimally invasive vertical face-lift techniques that move your facial muscles back where they belong. Facelift techniques have come a long way since the early days. You will look far natural and happy for a long time with your appearance.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  6 месяцев назад +1

      I really appreciate your detailed comment. I agree with you on a lot of things that you mentioned. I do think a lot of people overdo it with fillers and they utilize fillers to add volume to all the areas of the face that gets depleted from aging. This is why I’m a big fan of bio-stimulators and I have a lot of videos that talk about them and why I prefer them over filler for anti-aging. However I agree fillers have their place and they will always have their place.
      Also, just as you say injectors will tell you things you want to hear, surgeons will too. There’s a lot of content coming out about what fillers and bio stimulators do to the skin and what they look like when you dissect the skin during a face flit, but the interesting part is they don’t discuss what surgical procedures do to the skin. I would love them to dissect the skin of someone who had a facelift in the past who is getting another facelift so we can see that because Facelifts don’t last forever.
      Also, all of my patients look natural. It is possible for someone to get fillers and look completely natural. People need to realize that you only recognize the people who look unnatural who do non-invasive treatments AND surgical treatments. if someone looks puffy and unnatural we automatically assume that it’s from filler. I do virtual consults for people all around the world and let me tell you that I have seen some unnatural looking facial fat transfers that the person got when they underwent a facelift. If that person was walking around town guess what people would think, “oh my gosh she overdid it with filler.”
      Also younger people needing smaller amounts of filler depends on their facial tissue thickness rather than just their age. There is so much variation in facial tissue thickness. People who have thicker, denser skin will usually require more than those who have thinner skin.
      It is very important for people to do research and this is why I started this channel. I agree with you also on the importance of maintaining an ideal body weight which is why I have a video about facial fat and attraction. One of best things a person can do is exercise regularly and maintain a healthy body weight.
      You also have to understand that some people, such as myself who have never had surgery think of surgery as an absolute last resort. Surgery is and will always be invasive. I think in general, surgery should be a last resort if there is no other way of accomplishing the goal which is in this case is anti-aging. I think in certain cases when someone does not have thick skin (this tends to be genetic) and they keep a low BMI and exercise regularly, that they can ward off a facelift, and if they benefit from a facelift, it will be way down the line. Always remember facelifts don’t last forever.

    There evidence that fillers in the under eye area doesn’t disintegrate but rather migrates. Many doctors are refusing to do this area now. I had it done once and it was amazing. I didn’t need any makeup to cover up my dark circles. But, I won’t do it anymore.

    When I was young my mother, a nurse, used to tell me to do my best to maintain my weight and avoid too much sodium… the on and off of weight and puffiness caused by too much sodium stretches the skin, which creates more wrinkles over time… When I see friends & acquaintances get fillers, they look good at first, but over time the fillers migrate, and the new fillers cause more stretching of the skin. When they stop doing the fillers they end up looking worse than before. That is why I’m reluctant to have anyone touch my face, for now.

    But concerning Paulina: she still is so beautiful, even with wrinkles and she still will be a classic beauty when she is 80. You have to be very careful with procedues. Honestly i prefer Paulina to all the facelifted stars like Jane Fonda etc. Their face may look younger, but the eyes, the skin of the body and the way they walk tell the true age and so they look unnatural and sometimes weird. So llittle refreshment like a litte botox, sculptra may help to conserve:)

    I have mixed feelings on this topic. Feeling invisible is isolating and lonely at times. But I also didn’t enjoy being harassed by every Tom, Dick and Harry that was hoping to have casual sex with me when I was younger. It was quite annoying and disgusting, actually. An interesting change I notice is that men seem less likely to hit on young, beautiful women nowadays. I regularly see young women dressed, well, like sex workers to be completely honest. Not wearing bras, flimsy white crop tops, you can see their entire breasts and nipples. I’m 38. If I had gone out during the day dressed like that at 20, I would have been sexually harassed nonstop. Even wearing a low cut top or a short skirt was enough to provoke that kind of reaction. But when I see young ladies with their butt crack on display, I’m amazed to see the men pretty much leaving them alone. Not sure why that is or what it means but it is an interesting change and I wonder if anyone else notices it.

Perphaps men just got used to such outfits and that kind of look does not impress them anymore. Or they just know that 'this kind of girls" are not even worth attention. Also this new wafe of feminism somehow discouraged men to approach women on the streets (or approach women at all ;).

      I've seen plenty of women, walking around in their gym gear and midriff like I can almost see everything, there is less and less classiness, it's street wear trash.
      Men are afraid, because women now will shrug them off or get punc, some are like freaks, men are confused so don't bother they see how women are everywhere, they're even disgusted by some women's appearance and attitude so they leave them alone.

Ive had lasers/IPL for pore size and some redness. I did the Obagi Nu derm system when I was 31. I didnt have any spots, Ive avoided the sun like the plague, so it was more for maintenance. Ive used tretinoin since I was 25 as well
    Ive had ultherapy several times to my face and neck along with other skin tightening modalities. Ive had threads placed all over the face.
    Ive also maintained the same weight over the years, I think that plays a small role. My goal has been to keep my skin tight and wrinkle free and so far so good!! I had my partner who is 45 start getting botox last year. I was not expecting to notice a diffrence but when it wore off he wanted more lol
    I encourage everyone to do the "tweakments" she mentions and start them before you see the lines and wrinkles and droops.

    I had a surgical facelift in 2016 when I was 56. I also had a chin implant. I did loads of research as I was spending so much money. Genetically I inherited a weak lower face/jawline/chin. When I was younger I had a very full face/high cheekbones. I guess you would call it a moon face. At that time, my weak lower face never really looked out of place or bothered me. It was post menopause/hysterectomy. Even though I was using transdermal oestrogen etc, my genes had other plans for my ageing face. Did I like my facelift? If I look back at photos of a year post op, I did look odd. The chin implant definitely was a bad move as it still restricts my smile somewhat and my bottom lip on one side is slightly wonky due to mandibular nerve issues. But the surgeon would not remove it when I asked him. So, after my experience with surgery and that particularly surgeon, I would be extremely hesitant to do anything else.. although my nose...... And of course I was very naive in thinking I wouldn't need any further tweakments other than the botox I have always had in my forehead. Because Id had terrible experiences with juvederm, around ten years ago, that is why I went down the surgery road. I hadn't even heard of sculptra in those days. I wish I still had the £22k that I spent on the face surgery, that's for sure. I just wanted to look less tired...my mid face had dropped/flattened.
    Your videos are so interesting that they trigger memories of the various procedures I have had over the years. If one is wealthy then regular facial as well, are helpful, I just squirrel enough money for my thrice yearly botox and once a year Lanluma and thats' about all I can manage. You probably would still need a facelift though eventually right. It does make sense though to continue to get fillers. A lot of people are scared to death of them, but It is def necessary to use in combination with lifting if you have very lose skin and in general for early signs of aging. Also I think the key factor is skin care and sin upkeep. Thats the only thing that is really going to keep you looking youthful the most. Retinol, Vit C, other active ingredients.

      Yes you are right, overfilling is never helpful and can often make people look older. You are right it’s not Botox and filler alone. I think collagen stimulators are important to incorporate too as well as good skincare practices to keep the surface of skin looking smooth and avoiding sun damage. In this video I was concentrating on the deeper aspect of skin aging which is from the tissues losing volume creating shadows to the tissue, skin laxity, and wrinkles. The celebrities shown never really went from looking older to younger they seem like they have kept their youthful look thru the years, but there is no way to truly no as they would never disclose but I do agree with the E online article I quoted. Glad you loved the Tweakments! I’m choosing route B too. Yes, Paulina is gorgeous/. Thanks for answering the question Elisabeth!

    I'm 59 and am so glad I didn't opt to get a lot of filler and decided for natural PRP treatments to have my own collagen to fill in hollow under eyes, pump lips etc. With all the talk now on how filler never really goes away, I feel this was a smart choice along with good skin care, vit C and niacinamide.

    • @NaturalInjector

    • @KatKatz11

      I get 2 injection treatments per year for under eyes to keep the skin healthy and firm (cost $350 each time I go, so comparable to 1 syringe of Restylane). I don't do lips every time, but whenever I feel the need. There is always plenty of platelets left from the PRP blood draw after my eyes to do lips so I'm not charged any extra, I could have it injected in other areas of my face too if I ask.

      @@KatKatz11 So you find that you have to consistently go every 6 months. Do you feel it builds collagen? Are you going in because it completely goes back to baseline?

      I get 2 injections a month apart 2x per year (My 3rd year doing it) yes definitely builds collagen, I may not do it again this year because it still really looks good and smooth. I used to have definite circles with space between cheek and tear through...now it's fuller and smooth....lovel the way my makeup goes on! Oh...it never went back to baseline just wanted a little more plump.

      @@KatKatz11 Thank you for sharing. So you only get 2 x a year. The reason I’m reluctant to try PRP is because I really don’t know if it’s been proven to stimulate collagen but I am still contemplating bringing it on specifically to the under eyes because that’s an area where people can have issues to with filler. The doctor who was somewhat responsible for bringing PRP to the US said that it can last up to 3 months. Glad you feel you never went back to baseline.

    *Not true about men…* they look better when younger also. Most women aren’t all about money and power-they want someone they can connect with. I personally don’t want a man who looks like he’s ten years older than me. I’m not attracted to that and never have been.
    I don’t at all see injections as non-invasive. They can have serious side-effects, such as blindness and excruciating pain-so much so that I have decided to never do them (but I think facial exercise makes a lot of sense).
    When it comes to my health and enjoyment of life, my health wins over my face hands down times 100.
    If people don’t like me because I’m starting to look older, they aren’t people I want in my life anyway. Yuck.
    I doubt it was intentional, but this video really seems to be shaming and degrading women for aging-more so than any anti-aging video I think I’ve ever seen. 😔
    Thankfully, as a follower of Christ, I don’t base my worth on my looks or what others think of my looks. I do make an effort, but in the end, all that matters is my relationship with Jesus, and it puts all of this into perspective of just how unimportant it really is. ❤
    Our life is a journey-a beautiful one, and aging is a beautiful passage of time.
    *Paulina* will always be one of the most beautiful women to have ever lived. I love her humble stance to growing old naturally. It’s very refreshing-same as *Andie McDowell,* who recently said she “just wants to be old,” as trying to look young at her age is just too hard.
    And then there’s the always beautiful, *Jane Seymour,* who is also aging naturally, enjoying her age and has more work than ever before.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  Год назад

      Thank you for your comment. I agree with a lot of what you said. Looks are not everything, and Paulina is absolutely beautiful, which is why I featured her in this video.
      Aging does indeed affect men, but not to the same degree as women because they remain fertile for longer and fertility has a big impact on attraction. This video was not intended to make women feel bad about aging, it was meant to explain the differences in how beauty and aging affects men and women differently, in general that is. I’m just stating what science finds in studies. Just because I state a fact doesn’t mean it was intended to shame or degrade someone. If I state that men develop cardiovascular disease earlier than women, it doesn’t mean I’m trying to shame them, it just means I want them to be aware of it.
      Every single one of us is going to age and the main message that I wanted to get across in this video was that if you want to try and look as good as you can for as long as you can, start doing these treatments earlier rather than later.
      Non invasive treatments like injectables are less invasive than surgery. Every single thing comes with risks, like driving a car. LIfe is a journey and it will still be a journey if you choose to go down route B. Again thank you for your comment.

    Why does Paulina look so much OLDER THAN ME? I am 76! First her BMI is likely too low and has likely been too low all her life.
    My mother was underweight all her life. She was beautiful young, by 60 she looked 70 and by 70 looked 80. I have NOT been underweight all my adulthood. OF COURSE I have my father's genes too. I am very fair my ethnic heritage is Scots and English my father was fairer than my mother.
    I have used Retin A since age 35 and used it continuously. I had developed crow's feet from smoking but I had stopped. I am from a hot climate with lots of sun, south Texas. There was no sunscreen in the 50s and 60s. I got tons of sun exposure because I wasnt an indoor girl.
    I do work at not getting too thin. Im 5ft 4in. If I go down to 117 my face looks 5 years older. If I keep my weight at 125 to 130 I look 60ish says my female dermatologist. That is 15 years younger than I am.
    I DO still have men turn to look at me...men my age and younger. I have CHILDREN, little girls in this Central American country ask to have their photo taken with me...they say I am a Disney Princess. This usually is when I am wearing a boho maxi skirt...that IS flattering. I am widowed and had many men around my age asking me out when it was known I was now unattached. Some men cant take their eyes off me. I do have a good hourglass figure with curves amd dress in Romamtic Kibbe style. I dont hide under oversize clothing and am 5'4". I move gracefully having taken ballet and am fit and my muscle has not atrophied much as it does with man women my age. I wear modest but fitted, not tight clothung. Women my age who dont know me are put off a bit when meeting me but soon grow to like me then compliment me amd ask clothimg questions, neauty treatment quastioms once they are very comfortable doing so they are astounded at my age and ask me for clothes advice for themselves...there are different body types ala Kibbe.
    Right now I am helping another widow build a new wardrobe for HER body type. She has a little grey mouse wardrobe too.loose as if she is heavy amd hiding but she is not and wears no make up.at all. I am careful.to have a natural.makeup because with my striking ingenue Breck girl coloring a natural look suits me and preserves a more youthful aspect.
    Im a happy woman with a happy personality and a good brain...PhD professor of clinical.psychology, retired. You cant just LOOK good then have a personality that doesnt match your presentation or be a dumb bunny. No one maintains interest in such a person.
