I remember the 2.1 Pinto being Cammed/Built back in the 80s pushing around 100Bhp, Now with Modern Tech and THAT Turbo this should be Throwing down 180/210 BHP.

Very true and a 140ho pinto in an escort was rocket ship fast.
But with modern tech as you say and the information out there you can do a lot and at home if you try.
And you can get a standard 2.0 pinto motor (with ARP head studs). To run a turbo , fuel injection , direct spark and sequential injection, and make over 200hp(and the ability to just turn that power up or down or even up and more up through the rev range)cheaper than the cost of building a 180hp N/A motor on carbs....... thats the crazy part.
      Cheers

What sort of power do you hope to get from this set up?

      Not sure.
Mine is the same sort of setup .but different turbo manifold and Mitsubishi td04 turbo ..thats running 10psi at the point and I would say its close to 200hp... from a standard motor .. and the motor should take 15psi.
But the aim for both cars is 280-300ish HP at the rear wheels

@@BUILT_BY_ME That sounds pretty good, should have plenty of go, as well as keeping the lightness of the 2lt for handling seems like a good value build.
