Awesome video man, this is why i love this game i also have a similar story of my own: So instability is closing in and it's about time to leave, so I open the gateway and begin driving towards it, and i pass by a stable anchor and yknow I always gotta be lootin, so i run out and grab it before popping back into my car. I start driving towards the gateway and unknowingly drive off of a massive cliff and land completely upside down, taking a massive amount of damage as well. I quickly pop out of my car and emergency warp it only to find that my car won't start. At this point, the red has already overwhelmed where i am and my car is falling apart fast; in a panic trying to start the car i realize that my battery is dead. For some reason, I thought that was the reason my car wouldn't start, so I quickly run to the back and make battery jumpers and jump the battery. I hop back in and try to start it but it still wont go. After panicking for a solid 20 seconds I realized I was out of gas. Fortunately I had some spare in my mini fuel tank, filled my tank and absolutely gunned it towards the gateway and barely limped out with 16% hp to spare. Not quite as crazy as hunting down a wrecked car within the red, but was nerve wracking in the moment!

I had a moment like this recently, but after running out of all health kits and repair items, I made it into the circle with 1% of my health left. It was friggin' nerve-wracking.
Keep fuel can full at all time dude. If it’s empty, siphon on anything you can find even it’s just a tiny amount of oil. So you won’t having trouble finding fuel while instability is closing in.
It is both cool and crazy. Great clip! It looks like a moment from the trailer to the game! A bit paradoxical, but I would like to get into the same situation when you are in the balance of losing. Very nervous! I Like it
When returned to the garage. Oppy or Francis: *On the radio* So, how was your trip. *Cuts to the driver panting from stress in the driver’s seat with charred/sizzling clothes from the instability. The car looking absolutely battered as a tire soon blew out making it lean to the side*
@@Syzygyofsouls I was surprised too, but I noticed that you didnt take any radiation damage when you are very close to portal, so I stopped the car and out and just walk inside) and it ends like normal, then I have stupid siruation when I didnt noticed obsticle close to portal and smash a car into it, so I just leave the car and run into it xD and it works too)
That is great to know. I assumed that wouldn't work since it doesn't when you try to change maps on foot (like, walk to the trigger for the next junction). So yeah, this is important and helpful, thank you.
ive NEVER been that close to dying in the game and i play it on full difficulty for over 30 hours now but this one time i showed back up to the shop with no engine. no gas, and no front wheel...i had to kick that sht into the shop
you run out of gas and pop your hood i was like why are you doing that it clearly says your out of fuel. but i just chalked it up to you being in a panic trying to figure out what was wrong with your car.
@@Syzygyofsouls yeah it’s that green thing with speakers popping out! Just park close to it for a few seconds! Also if you’ve ran into any "bunny" anomalies (the bouncy things that stick to your car), the green one (called "happy hare") will also actually heal the car (and if you hold it in your hands it says it’s probably the only anomaly in the zone that’s safe to hold)
@@Syzygyofsouls good on you for surviving despite the odds, I’m a complete paranoid when it comes to prepping so I basically never ran into any situation that was this critical but you made it, that’s what counts

Nothing compared to when the anchor exit was on top of a fricking mountain for me.
I always thought the red meant instant death instead of getting the same amount of radiation in the chernobyl unit 4 reactor after it exploded
