    Hell yeah brother! Another job well done. That crane looks really nice. That's one thing I never had on my service truck that I always wanted. These days I'm working out of a van instead of a truck because I specialize in Diagnostics and module programming. If I ever go back to doing road repairs you can bet it will be in a service truck like yours. Keep up the good work and stay hydrated out there I'm sure it's about as hot in Arizona right now as it is down in Texas.

    Great content! If you lift your Crane up it will release the hook for you.

    • @jonathanhale5312
      @jonathanhale5312 3 месяца назад

      My mistake. I didn’t realize your hook retainer was a loop. When I worked at CAT our cranes all had an open ended hook retainer. You could boom up and winch out to drop your hook. Much easier than unhooking it off a ring. Just having a crane period is really nice though. Keep up the good work!

      Miles it's best if you have about $100,000 and lots of time, if you don't just find a shop to help you but good luck on your search.

    Question for ya: why did you not blow out the intercooler and condenser seeing how dirty the radiator fins where? Is it an in the field command decision that you are there to do the job of just the radiator only as the customer contracted for and ignore whatever else you may see wrong or needs cleaning? That oil cooler didn't look like it did much cooling with the crushed fins. Once you start doing free extras your are not getting paid for it as it takes time but it would stellar and thorough service. How do you balance all that on these jobs? At some point you have to quit the care factor I guess. Good videos thanks.

      @controldatablock6687 That is a great question. Beeing mobile, we are very busy, i have other trucks to get up so they can make money. So, saying that it's not a shop where we can milk the money out of it. I focus on quick, quality turnaround. Running back and forth to the parts store gets expensive for both the customers and me. The condenser and cooler were not dirty as the radiator. Tell the customers to clean it out every now and then. 😉

    Damn plastic crimped tanks. They keep making them cheaper and cheaper. Nothing built to last anymore, but they keep getting more expensive. Nice crane, certainly saves the ole back.

      @@RCGdiesel Thanks... got the name by hunting alone in Alaska covered in moose pee :0 PS if you want to see a grizzly up close>> just use moose pee ;0 also i can say that black bears are super strong because I had one give me a ruff hug once. I like ur channel i luv to learn I only know 80s and older heavy equipment now i have a 2014 volvo ec 220 with 7000+ hours giving me chit now Im on a crash course of computer assisted mechanics "i dont like it" i miss paperback service manuals. My machine is puffing white fuel smoke just randomly for1 second a once a week without any loss of power or codes. I thinking its related to the burner on the exhaust I have been fixing a lot of stuff the after treatment system. It may be injectors i have no clue when they serviced last. I need to go to tech school just for the computer crap. If its older i can fix it the new computer chit makes me pull my hair out.
