Pretty awesome that they got him a bigger truck so he could haul his kid in it, shows how much they value their employees, most places prohibit any non employees in their company vehicles.

I’m about to start the 13-month Heavy Equipment Technology program at Lincoln Tech. I really appreciate this content. I hope I get to be a part of this world after I graduate.
As a retired Cat electronics engineer and former aircraft electronics tech, I enjoyed the glimpse into the life of a Cat service tech. Troubleshooting problems is always a challenge, and the diagnostic tools make a big difference.
I love the fact that he is an involved dad.
Seems like a pretty badass place to work. Look like they take care of their employees.
Definitely a nice service truck too.
Can you do more of these? Maybe with a bit more in depth. There is tons of content in this vein
That's pretty badass of the company it shows you the type of company that they are and how they take care of their people if they're allowing him to be able to take care of his kids and also accommodate him from having a bigger truck noted for his kids to fit in there for him to drop off the kids you guys should do more of the series
Used to work at the pit, the mine manager and the owner are amazing people who took a chance on me and got me hooked with running equipment. Learned so much there that I continue to put into use today 10/10 would recommend working there

It’s cool to see the difference in facilities and the way they do things I work at cat in Tennessee and we do things a lot differently then they do
I just gotta clarify....that isn't our van, lol. There's a nice story behind that van though and hopefully if it ever gets the transmission it needs that sticker will make it's way back to Canada with it.
Been working as a Cat service field tech for 18 years and probably the best job there is.

Its crazy that dont have a delivery driver to bring parts. He coukdve had that taken apart while the part was on its way... In a much cheaper smaller vehicle

I'm tipping it was a loose hydraulic suction hose. Seen this before on newer machines. Hose shrinks slightly from new and sucks air .Anyway what would I know, only been on the tools for 40 years 🤣

Curious if you ever have battery issues with the Milwaukee tools or any other power tools staying out so long in the cold? And is there a constant power supply that would be used to charge them overnight. Also are any other calibrated tools that are temperature sensitive protected in any special way?

Suspect mechanical issue... Filter will tell you... O ring material or metallic material....
Either way, good to see the dealer taking care of their guy. Clearly a valued employee.
You guys should see if you can follow a materials technician for a day. The job can be pretty interesting and involves a lot of machinery too!

Bit disappointed, was it line relief, main relief, make up valve, seal blown out or seat for valve pitted ?,after cycling did valve get hot, thats what makes it more interesting, diagnosing and final outcome.

In my experience Cat’s forestry service is bad. Specifically for parts. Definitely a bit salty I can’t do forestry work on the weekends now. It took my dad 18 months to get a part. When that is the only thing cutting you are done. But at least where they are at Cat seems really nice to work with

1st time seeing this channel and my last. It would have been nice to see a day in the life of a CAT service tech but instead I got to see a comedy skit. Aaron ya must be doing something right tho to have 166k subs. I will admit the audio, camera work and editing was equal to that of a TV program so kudos on that. I just cant take every line being a comedy hour.
