Hey Mike, what brand/model surface cleaner are you using there? Also, is there a company that sells a "kit" (for a lack of a better word) for power washing as a business? Like sells a trailer with the tanks, pressure washers, hoses, and so on?
I was about to ask the same question!
U can’t use a service cleaner everywhere
Surface
Correct - that's why I said use both for the best results
It’s surface not service.
Well no shit captain obvious!
You cant use a wand everywhere either. Unless you like wet walls
Mike actually washing? Ima save this video lol
Hahaha!
And he still gots it✊️
Hater everywhere
Agreed. Both is best
So therapeutic to see clean concrete.
I love watching concrete get washed!! There’s something so soothing about it lol!!
Then watch that sweet lady on TikTok that cleans graves, it's really satisfying
ur a chip of the old block
@@darrensmith4279the fuck youre talking about?
So do I. Instant gratification.
the wand looks more satisfying tbh
Its slow though , The wand is good for corners and edges but its just way to slow when you have to pressure wash a big concrete area . I use both , surface cleaner is king to clean concrete .
i think if you don't have the money for both: get the wand and upgrade later using your earnings from using the wand
That’s what I did when I was younger.
I dont know why I watch these videos but it's so satisfying watching stuff get clean.
Watch them do epoxy floors with the designs
Used both this morning in very cold conditions. Thanks.
If I had to pick……🤔….the wand.
It can get in places the surface cleaner can’t. But using both is the way to go obviously.
The wand can get closer and clean better, but takes more time. The surface cleaner gets close enough for a clean that looks decent and takes less time. If you're doing it yourself, use the wand, if you're doing it on a time crunch or for business, use the surface cleaner. I used both before and there are obvious cons for both beyond that. For the wand, you will have to go back the other direction to remove any line marks that form when you're too close and the next swipe you're further away. The surface cleaner will leave square lines no matter how many times you go back if you move it fast. All in all, I personally recommend using the wand and not buying the surface cleaner unless you want quicker results with good enough appearance.
The second is better because it covers more surface but the high pressure cleaner is better for the details
Use a turbo tip!!!
Hell no! Turbo nozzles are for amateurs
I don't recommend pressure washing in short shorts, and sneakers with low cut socks. You'll want to wear waterproof boots that come up to about the knee if you plan on doing this frequently.
Here in FL we do it with crocs and no shirts with shorts
That makes sense tools make life easier when you have the right one's .....good life 😊
Great practical info!! Thank you
A common issue when doing large surface areas with a wand is streaking. Surface cleaners can also leave streaks, but only if one or more nozzles is not spraying properly. Surface cleaners are indeed expensive, as are their nozzles, but the amount of work you can do with a surface cleaner in a short period of time makes the surface cleaner worth it. You can recoup that cost in one or two jobs.
I am about starting this business. Any help on the stripes that come up after using the surface cleaner?
@@franciscaeuphemiakemetse7321 you can do a few things. First, make sure all of the nozzles on your surface cleaner are clear. I always used to keep an old twist bread tie wrapped around the handle because the wire was the perfect size to clear the nozzles. Second, move the machine slower over the surface you're cleaning and make sure you're using a powerful enough pressure washer. Lastly, get a pump sprayer and then go to your local pool supply store and get chlorine. Make 5-7% chlorine mix with water and treat the surface you cleaned. Before treating the surface with chlorine, make sure surrounding plant life is well soaked with water and rinse them immediately after treating with chlorine. For vinyl siding on houses you want your chlorine mix a little weaker. The chlorine you get from pool Supply stores is usually about 12% chlorine, so making a 1/2 chlorine and 1/2 water mixture will be fine for concrete or brick surfaces, but for house siding should probably do a 1/3 chlorine and 2/3 water. That should help you out some.
Thank You for the help.

The part they don’t know is that in just a few jobs you can make all your money back that you spent on the $350 pressure washer
Looks good 😊
looks like the surface cleaner is much much faster and it gets done evenly.
Yes
Rent the surface cleaner with 3500-4000 psi power washer from “Home Depot” for $150 for 24 hours!👍
You can definitely just buy a cheap surface cleaner for $150
How does it work on walls?
I think the surface cleaner is easier on the concrete. Using the wand too much will eventually expose the aggregate.
What power washer should I get with more psi or gpm and what pump should I look for l.
Thank You 😊
Both have their pros and cons and using BOTH get the best results.
What chemical do you use to clean driveway and houses ? Just curious looking in to starting my own company
💲 Are they really more expensive, though?... Equipment is a write-off, time is money, and results are results. ... What's the average cost difference of a wand vs surface cleaner, if I may ask, and how long does one last before it eventually gives out?... Genuinely curious to know.
Well yes - a wand costs $30 and a good surface cleaner can cost anywhere from $600 to $1500+.
Also remember, this video isn't made for established businesses, it's for new guys who probably don't have $1200 for a surface cleaner right out of the gate so being a "write-off" is irrelevant if you don't have the cash.
@@AllAboutPressureWashing Agreed. In this case, then, you may want to mention the importance of establishing business credit early, so that cash is 'irrelevant', right out of the gate. It only takes a few months to establish, besides, and most banks are still giving out 0% credit cards once a biz credit file is established. Just a thought.
This was a 30 second video about a wand and a surface cleaner
@@AllAboutPressureWashing Maybe in the next video, then? 😅
@@AllAboutPressureWashing lol, Yeah hes already to write his book and create his seminars that you can sign up for after you watch his free seminar video by clicking the link. Why haven't you bought his full course yet? :P
What brand of wand do you use?
It reaply depends on nozzle size, surface, psi, but most importanly that people ignore, gpm.
Exactly same as using trimmer and mower on your lawn, both shine when you want to do what they're designed for.
Can you carry the pressure washer and wand in a Corolla instead of a truck
Time shouldn’t be the only metric. The energy used by the operator should also be taken into account. You moved far more with the wand, which means you can be less productive long term.
A wand is a multi use tool a surface cleaner is a specialized piece of equipment for one task
What’s the price range for surface cleaners?
Whats the best psi for cleaning concrete that I’m going paint, thanks for all suggestions……ms
Do you use or have you tried a rotating nozzle? What's your experience with it? I have used 1 on a 1200 psi Karcher and it cleaned surfaces where the normal nozzle did nothing.
How many gpm is needed for the surface cleaner to work well and fast?
Great videos. To change from the wand to the surface cleaner do you use the quick-connect at the end of the hose or a ball-valve?
Don't worry about cleaning it
And streaked like hell too
Bro..I did it.i got me a hot water pressure washing trailer my mitm..4gpm! It's about to all go down. With the support of you and the gang I'm going to be successful because I plan on being the best at what I do in my area
Your vids are so satisfying
Hey do you need that tip in the video or are you also using other colored tips. I’m 17 and getting started out with my business.
Depends on the job/ size of concrete
I like your channel and I wish you success
And being someone who does pressure washing at a school I agree Both is better than one
Awesome Work my brother
Good to note.
I think it’s better to not tell your employees that you “bought” a truck for them
Thank you... But how much is your time worth? 😊 I think I'm going to see if I can rent a surface one.
Both Yes🙌🙌
Best surface cleaner to get??
It's just bought a 3200 psi ryobi pw and didn't anticipate on buying a 20" surface cleaner, my question is will it work together ? The pw is 2.3 gpm so I think it might be too small?
What is right the psi f to use the surface cleaner?
Where did you get your surface cleaner at don’t care for the ones they have at Home Depot
+Adam Everett SoutheastSoftwash
I gotts to go with the wand
So true
Bottom line you have to put some work in to get good results 💪🏼
It's also 100 times heavier and if you charge by the hour, not a wise choice. Especially when you can leave zero lines with a wand
Wow, not a smart comment
Dude makes Asmr and business videos at the same time
What model pressure washer do you use??
Please show me where you would use a wand
Weirdly satisfying channel
Gostaria de saber o valor de enceradeira para limpeza e como faço para comprar?
Which one uses more water?
Surface cleaner has more flow
What's the psi?
What size wand is that
What kind of attachment do you use for the pressure washer hose? I noticed you didn't have to go and turn off the machine while you changed over from wand to surface cleaner.
Thanks in advance.
It’s called the ball valve
Concrete, paving slabs - surface cleaner, edge with lance.
Block paving - lance with turbo nozzle every time.
Most of my jobs are commercial parking lots. 💪😎
Nice work!
The psi for the wand has to be top notch
What do you think about the $100-300 surface cleaners, on Amazon?
Obviously, they're not as good as what you're using, but would it be worth it, until one could buy a "better" one? Or, should one just save their money?
We’re can I buy the first one?? Pleaseeeeee thanks
Not a washing pro but I love pressure washing my driveway. I have to use the surface cleaner because I have major a.d.d and it takes me forever with the wand
Both 😎👍
The wand should clean it a lil bet but takes way longer.. that's the trade off
Can you please tell me what ball valve you have I have the same surface cleaners as you and all the ball valves I’ve bought don’t stay in
What’s the best surface cleaner for a 4200 psi pressure washer 4gpm
wand is instant if you know your spells right
Do you wash the concrete that’s right next to the garage door
👍👍👍👍👍
Which is better food or water ?
Whats the wound product name? And the surface cleaner product name?
It all depends on how dirty the surface is.
The surface cleaner is good but limited to flat surfaces you couldn't wash a house with it but you could do driveway or patio or sidewalk but it won't help with anything above ground
What used less water?
Except the CORRECT way to do it is the surface cleaner FOLLOWED by the wand.
How much is the surface cleaner price to have it?
So what you saying is work smarter
Surface cleaner doesn’t bounce the dirt onto all adjacent surfaces. Now if they just made one that would clean right out to its brushes.
Everyone has that yellow surface cleaner. What's the brand?
wand is always the best. surface cleaner for interlocking brick
Imagine that. The proper tool for the proper job.
If I’m just starting and have no equipment but $2000 to help startup my business, should I buy both?
Wand if you're getting paid hourly
😂
Surface cleaner go brrrrrr
A surface cleaner at Home Depot isn’t all that expensive
But it's a piece of shit
Time is money!
