Everyone that runs a pressure washing business should also be in the business of sealing said concrete. The concrete needs to be protected after it's washed, and if you don't do it, they'll just be calling another business to come do it after you're done. Sealing concrete brings in far more profit than just washing alone, and it's fairly easy to learn. Acrylic sealer on stamped concrete is a gold mine, and if you learn about antiquing stamped concrete (adding color and depth) you can easily set yourself apart from the rest of your local competition. Hope someone somewhere can benefit from this! Good luck out there.

Listen, I’m not in the business. I enjoy your videos. Very educational. Here’s a tip connect with realtors when they’re selling a house. They’re gonna want everything cleaned. Good pressure washer get everything taken care of snappy snap do a good job for them and they’ll keep referring you to other realtors and their clients.

small tip for anyone who wants it: ask the customer the last time the concrete was sealed, what kind of sealer was applied (water based or acrylic), and how long the stains on the concrete have been there.
If they used acrylic sealer (Like Chemmasters Traz-25a) and the stains have been there since before they last had it sealed, go ahead and tell them that it's gonna be impossible to remove them without stripping the sealer off beforehand (either by etching or acid wash).

Even if you don't want to mess with chemicals, do the minimum and get 30 Second Outdoor Cleaner. It's not insanely expensive, it's very easy to handle, and it works great if you follow the instructions and let it sit for like 15 minutes. Also, to prevent any sort of lines from showing up if you don't plan on post treating is to just clean in a figure 8 motion. Doesn't got to be massive, just enough to overlap your last spot. It may take you a little longer, but it increases the cleaning quality pretty significantly and pretty much guarantees that you wont miss any spots.

Or even better, use a decent concrete driveway cleaners like ZEP or Krud Kutter for example, and downstream it through your pressure washer. Let that set for 10-15 fifteen minutes and then go about the job.

If you use something like ZEP or KRUD KUTTER driveway cleaner for pressure washers, you shouldn't have a problem. Use a bleach mix and you're asking for trouble. The other thing is before you start a job put down some concrete cleaner. Then while that's curing edge all along the driveway (you'll get bonus points from your customer) that way create some runoff drainage. Then go around and using a turbo nozzle wash the driveway border completely. Then when you hit it with your pressure washer you have some drainage for the water and detergent and you get a good cleaning right to the very edge of the driveway because you typically won't get it good every time with your surface cleaner and you'll end up having to go back and touch up those areas the surface cleaner didn't quite get.

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. At that rate if you take your typical concrete driveway that's maybe 75'x10'= 750 sq. ft. plus maybe another 48 sq. ft. for the sidewalk x .13= $104 bucks. You can't afford to do that. Maybe you drive a half an hour to the job to quote it, your time there, another half hour to get back to where you started/home. Assuming you get the job on the spot and he/she doesn't want to 'think about it' and ends up calling you a few days later with the go-ahead, by the time you unload, do the job, load back up and return home, you've got about 4 hours invested, maybe $5 bucks in gas for your vehicle and your machine, another $4-5 bucks for the cleaner you put down. And there's the hidden cost of wear and tear on your equipment and your vehicle. You cn't afford to do this work for .13 sq. ft.

Using what looks like a 24" surface cleaner he could knock out 3 - 4 jobs in a day albeit, that machine is maybe a 4 GPM, so it's a looong day to squeeze in 3 - 4 jobs. That driveway in the video plus the sidewalk and there was a patio in the back it seems, that's $400+ bucks all day long, maybe $450.00. The upsell is to seal it the following day- or if it's hot enough weather and the job is done in the early morning, you/he could go back later in the afternoon and knock out sealing it in about an hour's time and that's another $400 bucks + materials cost.
