Can you please do a parakeet I want to do one for my grandmother, because of an amazing story about her two parakeets, Mitu, and Shitu. Short version: Shitu was a green parakeet that was always in la la land. Mitu was a blue parakeet that was very smart and could say, "My sweet Yahya" (my uncle) and, "My sweet Mi Mi" (my mom) one day my uncle was cleaning the cage outside and Mitu and Shitu flew out into the wilderness. My grandma was very sad. A few weeks later My grandma was sitting in the yard and saw a blue parakeet that looked like Mitu. My grandma rushed inside and got the cage and opened the door. If it was Mitu, he would fly in. He did!! but it turns out he couldn't talk anymore because he had a swollen neck. My grandma couldn't bear to see him like that so she sent him to her sister (my mom's aunt) My grandma sounded so sad when she told us that story so I want to make a needle felted Mitu and Shitu for her. I have my kit, but swax wasn't included. What can I use in the meantime? Regular beeswax or hot glue (gasp)? I wish I'd looked more carefully, I'd have ordered some with the birds! (Rookie mistake, lol)
