Of all the tutorials I've seen on making wire feet, by far I think yours is the best because it's the easiest that I have found. Thnku. 😊

Very useful! I like how you showed both methods, although I am a bit of a wool purist when felting. I liked your tips about using the Sharpie, dipping the tip and correcting mistakes. Thanks!

Hi, this was a most helpful tutorial, the best one I found! I am comfortable working with wire so I believe that helps, I also like the 2 different ways to wrap the little legs.My project is a crow/raven, and I am challenging myself to do this whole project with what I have at home. Thank you for posting!

Thank you :) .. if using the florist tape you can perhaps paint some clear gloss nail varnish over it ... not sure that would work as well over wax but playing is part of the fun :D

Why can't we felters just use a simple clear fabric/leather wax on the needle finished felt. That way it just adds smooth texture and shine layer to the felt that already had color. I think it looks unnatural to use black wax or pink wax. The clear stuff they finish felt hats with is what I'm now using to add a softer lambs suede leather like quality to dolls skin and a second finish to make reptilian scales more glazed and shiny. I use a secret technique though that I cannot disclose currently to my competitors. I just feel the color is unnatural and you can get your own colors to add I guess too.

Thank you for your reply Blanca, this is one of the things I love about felting .. there are so many different ways to achieve results and each one is valid so everyone is sure to find a way that suits them. in my opinion there is no wrong way just different ones which is what makes the community so diverse :)
