WoW! Birds are a lot more involved than I thought. I just love watching your tutorials; you're so inspiring.
These beautiful songbirds, are definitely going to be my first level 2 project.
For now, I'm working on my very first felting project; the Sleepy Mice. All my friends will be receiving one, nestled in a nest, for Christmas.

Thanks for this chickadee tutorial Sara. I found it very interesting. People all achieve their projects a little bit differently, & as a would-be felter, I am still deciding what I need to get, & the best way for me to do things. I previously watched a video where they used a styrofoam egg as the base of the bird's body, but I particularly liked the wire frame you made & the use of SWAX to start off (oh & the "I'm winging it" pun near the end.)
