JJ is a real example of a true American, and someone a lot of us in the US look up to.
Hard working, humble, overall class act.
Media does what media does, but I couldn’t be happier having him represent the US on such a big level. Especially being on a show like Stick to Football with these legends.

So glad JJ came on here. Shows that some of us Americans do love the sport of English football and there is no reason to hate on one another from across the pond. My grandmother was English so I always loved the culture. I also understand why some people may hate on us, but they gotta understand the stuff you see on tv and movies is versions of American people turned up to a 100. A lot of us are actually humble people just trying to make the best of the situation we are in and be happy.

For those that don't know the NFL, it's actually fascinating. When it's seems like nothing is happening they're actually setting up formations and play routes. It's literally chess with people and a ball. Give it a try. Any given Sunday anyone can win unlike our football where 90% money talks. Week in week out there are last second wins with Hail Marys and all guns blazing plays. Awesome.

As an American, I got into the Premier League a couple years ago after having resisted "soccer" for my whole life. I'm hooked. You can enjoy a new sport without abandoning the sports you already like. Just add the new one to your rotation. The key to getting into a new sport is to pick a team. It's hard to get into a new sport if you just watch it generally with no dog in the fight. You gotta pick a team that will get you emotionally invested, and everything else will fall into place.

I’ve kept up with the NFL for the better part of 10 years now. Have seen JJ play in his prime and he was without a doubt the greatest pass rusher of this era (if not all time). He made mincemeat of even the best Olinemen in the league. And here he is in England, invested in a Premier League club and displaying a level of humility and class most of us would do well to achieve. Clearly a very intelligent man with a passion for sport and also incredibly entertaining, engaging and interesting. What a guy.
