Thanks for the update, Nutn! I bought a condor rig on your recommendation years ago. Still loving it. Been shopping around recently for value priced lbe for friends and family who are coming around to the wrol preparedness mindset
You are welcome, I am hear to help and save money whenever I can. I've had a lot of my LE TNPrs ask me about it too. Also with the ActShtr thing in schools, ballistic panels for students make sense too!

Not sure of you knew this but SOG provides active duty military a 50% discount code on their website (just gotta email them proof). I was stoked when I found out and im trying to pass the word to as many people as I can.
Simucom Reviews damn, that’s awesome..if I was in the military I would be buying up all kinds of SOG gear..I don’t like their knives as much as I used too but the ones that are still made in the US are still great..SOG has a bunch gear available though..everything from knives, tomahawks and multitools to backpacks and flashlights..at 50% off there are some great deals to be found
@@garrettferrell6821 I agree. There are many SOG products that are disappointing, but there are just as many SOG products that are absolutely fantastic (no company is perfect). With a 50% discount you really can't complain.
Botch has been an excellent vendor for years - great selection, great prices, quick turn around & excellent customer service. Solid recommendation Nutn!
Thank you nutnfancy! your vids help us out a lot! BATTLE STEEL IS LEGIT! Ive seen many tests w/chrono on video...their plates are for real! I bought these because of you
I use a Battle steel soft plate in the back and a hard coated (for knives) plate lvl 3a in the front while working at the bank. Love this stuff. I use a 5.11 tac tec carrier
I ordered the battle steel carrier from your link and got tonight. It is pretty nice! I immediately put my ar500 3+ lightweight plates (swimmers cut) in it....and they fit ok! The wife walks in the room and asked what it was...so I told her. She asked if it fits ( i just got it and hadnt adjusted it)....I said that i didnt know and threw it over my head like a sweater....PING!!!!.....right in the freakin head dude....lmao!
If you do look at the stuff, there's pic/vid MrGunsnGears smiling face, as he's obviously done a review on them too. They are using that on their website, but Nutn giving you the independent review.
I’ve worn the soft stuff for about 7 years. I will continue to wear it with rifle inserts for daily use (work) especially with the way these shooting keep happening
This is great value for those who seek to be prepared. The soft armor is great for a school or work backpack and the IIIA armor combined with the value plate carrier is great for a home defense set up. I have the same carrier and mounted IFAK, gun, mags, flashlight, flex cuffs mounted to my HD carrier.
Thanks for the review Nutn- picked up some 3A hard armor battle steel inserts and some condor mopc carriers based on your reviews- got 3 of them so I can arm up some friend too 👍
I got 2 level IV player for less than $200 from Botach. Saw another RUclipsr shoot one at 15 yards with 30-06 AP, 308, 5.56, 12 ga 00. Distorted rear of please but no penetration. Just ordered a carrier from Tactical Assault Gear, closeout. I love everything I got from them.
I've done this exact thing. Shot with 168gr federal gold metal match and m855, 3 rounds of 168 and 6 rounds of 5.56 before penetration. The plate delaminated after about 5 rounds though.
Bill Angell I don’t understand why you would need to withstand so much fire. Almost certainly after the first you should be moving. Are you standing there letting someone mag dump you?! Lol
I personally had a horrible experience with Botach. I ordered a set of their Level III+ composite rifle plates with my debit card and was told to expect delivery in two weeks. A month later when I hadn't received the plates I called them up and was told they the plates were out of stock and to be patient. Another month later, I was again told that the plates were out of stock and just to wait but received an email from them that same day advertising a sale on those very same plates. I called them up again and demanded my money back.
right here parent of 2 bought spartan armor systems level 3a for both of my kids taught them whenever something scary happens hold the bag close to the chest!!!!
@@samburgerus well yeah obv not but unless your kids are body builders you cant throw a ceramic 15-20lb plate in their backpack and even if they could carry it when they set it down and it goes thud people are gonna notice. Ya know all you can do is soft armor and hope that it dont happen man. Or volunteer at your kids school as a armed guard ya know
Have you checked out their deals on boots. I just picked out some Lalo Shadow Intruder 8" Ranger boots for $39.98 from there. Even their Amphibian is going for the same price now. The MSRP for each of those is $275 and $360 respectively. They're on clearance now for only $39.98. If you're looking for gear, check Botach first.
Unfortunately as of June 2020 their customer service is underwhelming. Ordered something that they said was in stock and same day shipping....it’s been “awaiting processing” for two weeks now and no response to emails about the order.
I mean i'll say a few things. BOtach: Better than some other companies. I had some issues with them, but eventually I got my order. Product i'm happy with. But I will say when it comes to wearing a plate all day, i'd reconsider one of those kits that doesn't have the padding. I get what Nutn is saying, especially with the lighter armor, but i'd rather have it and be in the fight then be on duty for hours then realizing I wish I had it. Now it would be cool if there was a way to maybe DIY some padding onto that first vest for cheap.
This stuff is made in Pomona, CA by a company called LongFri. You can call them direct, and buy from them rather than buying from Botach. If you have a resale permit they'll sell you as much as you want for much cheaper than this. I think when I bought those same panels they were $55, and I paid $110 for Level III UHMWPE hard plates.
Worth noting that Level 3A will also stop shotgun threats (both buckshot and slugs) and explosive shrapnel. So Level 3A really covers an impressively wide array of stuff. Pretty much everything short of rifle cartridges. Not sure if it protects from knife thrusts, but I wouldn't be surprised.
This is a great simple carrier to have handy when you need to armor up in a pinch. I always pondered the idea of a full kit in the car but what if your car gets broken into or stolen? Having this ready in your car while still maintaining a ccw and spare mag on your person is a good philosophy i think.
As someone else said they've moved from California to Las Vegas. Which is awesome. A mile from my work. I like buying local anyhow. And I should be able to check it out first. Hopefully they have vests that will fit my girls and not just me.
you make still great videos nice to know you are still there, making great Videos, aswell for me here in germany having not these great rifles and stuff
I own the Emergency ballistic package that is $100-120 for two 3A soft 10”x12” panels and a little nicer concealed carrier. I’m 6’7” 300 lbs and they fit me fine with lots of adjustability. I also have the 11”x14” plates & carrier same set up. Both sizes fit me but I like the larger coverage. Botach makes good stuff with great value.👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
Bought some AR500 steel plates years ago, but it's heavy. I don't plan to wear Body armor everyday, just for SHTF situation so I looking for something I can wear without compromising movement. Steel plates are good if your sitting in a fixed location but not good for movment.
For all you non patreon freeloading cheapos, this video was posted to patreon dec 24th. Thats how far behind you guys are. So much content you are either missing out on, or seeing really late. Give the guy 5 bucks a month, its worth it
Battle Steel Ballistic Plate Carrier now $80 and the "multicam" is out of stock. Ugh. I really want to buy one for my wife but can't seem to catch a sale.
I recommend Spartan Armor Systems, they have amazing plates and carriers. Never had any problems, i carry 48 shotgun shells and and a hydration pack on it and still have plenty of Molle for other things like a pistol if i want to carry that on my chest. Never understood why some people wear armor that doesnt have side plates.
Both of my kiddos have ar500 hybrid armor in their bags, .25" @ 16oz it's cool kit along with the trauma pads, but bang for the buck, I'll be checking out these panels for my and my wife's briefcases. Great vid nutn
Yep, I got level 3 and level 4 hard plates from botach. Love them. Super light weight. 3-4 lbs each. They replaced my steel plates that were 9 lbs each
I ordered a plate from Botach and IT TOOK 25 DAYS TO ARRIVE. No idea why, my Botach order just showed "processing". I assume it was backordered, but the backordered status won't show when you place your order or on your order account, nor do they email you that it is backordered. You're just left wondering why they aren't shipping out your order? Then FedEx took 10 days to deliver and I live in Oregon, a state that borders Nevada where Botach's warehouse is located. To add insult to injury I had to pay shipping on this order that totaled over $125. I would NOT recommend Botach nor will I EVER order from them again!
Well if botach has the nape protector then ill consider it. Its like the one piece of kevlar i really want. Imagine going prone your armor barely covers you. Neck and head is the likely target. Not to mention shrapnel from missles bombs or artillery.
Nice work! And honestly, 10x12 is big enough for fat dues like me with 49” waists. It won’t cover as much if I was normal size rather than obese, but it will work and doesn’t look like a postage stamp on me.
Good Morning, I've been a fan of you for a while but I you should know that went to the Botach website because of your recommendation and it looks like a good product but there customers service is no good it's been three weeks since I placed my order and I haven't received anything I know because of virus things are taking longer but still they give proper updates to there customers just giving you a heads up still a fan of your show and may the LORD CHRIST JESUS Bless you
could you do the same thing, but for rifle plates? I have plates from AR500 and they're stupid heavy. Woudl love to find some affordable, safe, rifle-rated plates.
Good luck, night vision is insanely expensive..even the old school gen 1 and gen 2 night vision is expensive and it’s not very impressive at all for what it costs...hopefully some good quality night vision will get cheaper in the not too distant future but as for right now,it’s out of my budget
My family made an order a few months ago, it was canceled by Botach because they didn’t have one item. Tried to contact them by email & phone with no response. Very disappointed.

More LBE reviews please! Keep up the great work.
Thank you, will try
Botch has been an excellent vendor for years - great selection, great prices, quick turn around & excellent customer service. Solid recommendation Nutn!
Some great content lately Nutn. I personally don't watch the KRVs much, but I absolutely appreciate the GRVs and LBE reviews. Thanks :)
Thank you nutnfancy! your vids help us out a lot!
BATTLE STEEL IS LEGIT! Ive seen many tests w/chrono on video...their plates are for real!
I bought these because of you
Love the way this channel brings the best value products for practical use instead of the Gucci gear.
I use Battle Steel level IV for patrol, worth every penny.
I use a Battle steel soft plate in the back and a hard coated (for knives) plate lvl 3a in the front while working at the bank. Love this stuff. I use a 5.11 tac tec carrier
Ok, Robert.
Alan Hardcastle Highway patrol
@Alan Hardcastle Children like you.
Just ordered sum backpack panels for the family and a couple of plate carriers with soft armor. Great deal for the price. Thanx Nutnfancy !
Nutnfancy is always looking out for TNP'ers.....much respect, much thanks brother...double owel
Very Cool Ballistic plates !!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for showing this product , Nutnfancy !!!!!!!!!!
I purchased from Botach Battle Steel combo. It has the velcro wrap around. For $109.00 it's great and they have Sezzle payment plan.
The pads do allot for comfort when you're carrying heavier armor to stop heavier threats. Thanks for the review.
If you do look at the stuff, there's pic/vid MrGunsnGears smiling face, as he's obviously done a review on them too. They are using that on their website, but Nutn giving you the independent review.
I bought my plates based on that video. Level IV for $200.
We need the longer version!
I’ve worn the soft stuff for about 7 years. I will continue to wear it with rifle inserts for daily use (work) especially with the way these shooting keep happening
Seems like an excellent albeit hot and heavy way to protect yourself from all the likely threats.
Hey nutn. Fyi Botach moved out of CA into Las Vegas a few years back
Awesome. I like buying local anyhow. And I should be able to check it out first.
Thanks for the review Nutn- picked up some 3A hard armor battle steel inserts and some condor mopc carriers based on your reviews- got 3 of them so I can arm up some friend too 👍
I bought level 4 plates from Botach, fantastic price, long shelf life but, it took over a month to get...
Do the Lvl IV “battle steel”
get 3. 2 for you, 1 to shoot!!
Lol
Thanks very much, ive been shopping for a couple weeks but everything I've seen is real pricey. your vid is super timely for me.
Yes! Some body armor reviews by Nutn, finally!
Do you know of any plate carriers for kids that are 8 and 5 years old?
@@0hioboy no honestly i just cut a slit in the back of their backpacks and threw the soft plate in there and stitched it back up at the top
Cut a slit at the top of the inside of the bag*
I’m also going to buy some for my kids, but is IIIa enough? If the shooter has an AR, and they probably will, the IIIa isn’t going to do the trick.
@@samburgerus well yeah obv not but unless your kids are body builders you cant throw a ceramic 15-20lb plate in their backpack and even if they could carry it when they set it down and it goes thud people are gonna notice. Ya know all you can do is soft armor and hope that it dont happen man. Or volunteer at your kids school as a armed guard ya know
Not impressed with Botach... Ordered over a week ago and my order still hasn't shipped. Then paying for 5-10 day shipping is just a slap on the face.
They may have had issues earlier but all my orders from Botach have shipped to me within 3-4 days. I dont work for them! just letting you know
Hey Nutn, not sure if you'll read this, why don't you implement helmets into your systems? Just curious.
They also have class 4 plates for only $99 each on botach
Thanks, i have been eyeballing these for a while.
I have a quick adjustment sling from them.
They're a little on the heavy side, but not bad for the price. RMA level IV 10x12 (#1145) can usually be had for $99 a plate
Thanks Nutn! I purchased these last year and love em!
How did you know this is what I'm looking for?
I mean i'll say a few things. BOtach: Better than some other companies. I had some issues with them, but eventually I got my order. Product i'm happy with. But I will say when it comes to wearing a plate all day, i'd reconsider one of those kits that doesn't have the padding. I get what Nutn is saying, especially with the lighter armor, but i'd rather have it and be in the fight then be on duty for hours then realizing I wish I had it. Now it would be cool if there was a way to maybe DIY some padding onto that first vest for cheap.
I love that company. They have a lot of really cool gear. I have one of their flashlight rings, amazing.
BCrafty121
Liberty defense 9mm ammo
And 5.7x28 will defeat lvl iiia now.
Pretty much have to go hard ceramic faced plate nowadays
We need a tactical baby Yoda tnp patch...just saying
Please, please, PLEASE, review their $199 3a rated helmet
@Surt Andvettsson that's why I opted out of a bullet proof mask lol.
That carrier looks almost identical to the Red Rock Outdoors carrier I bought from Primary on sale for $30 a few months back.
Great video. Thank you for the information on affordable armor. I am a LEO and I am ordering a couple sets for my family. Keep making awesome videos.
Ordered. Been meaning to get some soft armor. Thanks for the review.
Well I ordered one of them, I may have to go back in order that carrier, and another one
Hey Nutn, can you do an update to your LBE vids with current products please? Thanks! 🤠
At a $40 price point you didn't shoot them and show the footage... disappointed.
Alexander Brittain There are lots of other channels who have. MrGunsandGear shot many different versions
Love Botach.
Hesco LVL4 Plus are fantastic 120$ each, if you can find them! With spiritus carrier, fantastic quality for the price and flexibility.
AT Armor usually has Hesco. The 4400s are a good deal.
Do the longer version please!
Col, level V is a solid standard to use. Cheers, Mate.
Bought some AR500 steel plates years ago, but it's heavy. I don't plan to wear Body armor everyday, just for SHTF situation so I looking for something I can wear without compromising movement. Steel plates are good if your sitting in a fixed location but not good for movment.
I’ve got both the UHMWPE
And combo ones and they are great quality
Also got a free different pc with a purchase
Thank you for the backpack tip. You rock!
What can stop Threat Level Midnight?
With the new calibers and ammo 3A seams like under protection
I'm alittle suprised you didn't show some footage of you poping some rounds in one and showing us the data.
Both of my kiddos have ar500 hybrid armor in their bags, .25" @ 16oz it's cool kit along with the trauma pads, but bang for the buck, I'll be checking out these panels for my and my wife's briefcases. Great vid nutn
Hey nutnfancy I watching your armor video in a Airbus between Gallup and Flagstaff with some moderate turbulence.
Yep, I got level 3 and level 4 hard plates from botach. Love them. Super light weight. 3-4 lbs each. They replaced my steel plates that were 9 lbs each
BrCock Tasty
Always love the reviews nutn!
Love that bear wears your patches. 👍🏼🇺🇸🗽🦅
Man it would be nice to see a video on a basic start up kit so many options so many plate carries how??
Nice work! And honestly, 10x12 is big enough for fat dues like me with 49” waists. It won’t cover as much if I was normal size rather than obese, but it will work and doesn’t look like a postage stamp on me.
Just got their level 4 plates. 100 bucks each. Unreal. I may buy a 3rd to test. I almost can’t believe they work.
While I may not agree with nutnfancy on everything, I know he is a man of integrity. If he says this product is good I trust him.
Good Morning, I've been a fan of you for a while but I you should know that went to the Botach website because of your recommendation and it looks like a good product but there customers service is no good it's been three weeks since I placed my order and I haven't received anything I know because of virus things are taking longer but still they give proper updates to there customers just giving you a heads up still a fan of your show and may the LORD CHRIST JESUS Bless you
Such a great deal, thanks Nutn!!
could you do the same thing, but for rifle plates? I have plates from AR500 and they're stupid heavy. Woudl love to find some affordable, safe, rifle-rated plates.
How's the DKX armor holding up after six years?
Let me know when you come across some cheap current gen night vision.
How's 24,000 sound
@@nejinaji like I said LET ME KNOW -_____-
Good luck, night vision is insanely expensive..even the old school gen 1 and gen 2 night vision is expensive and it’s not very impressive at all for what it costs...hopefully some good quality night vision will get cheaper in the not too distant future but as for right now,it’s out of my budget
Right the anpvs21s are the 24000 I mentioned and I have my heart set on them.
The level IV plates are righteous.
Thanks TNP.
Thanks for the vid Nutn! I clicked on each link and none of them appear to be working. I'll check back a little later.
Can you do a impact test video
Sir, your links don't seem to work. Please check them.
Are any of those carriers able to fit a level 4 plate?
Please do a CATI armor review! I have the 3A steel plates and wear them on duty. the contoured ones are Super comfortable.
Mrgunsngear reviewed them last year. Better late then never. Lol. Bought two myself.
I have the tacprogear soft carrier. $40 and well worth it
My family made an order a few months ago, it was canceled by Botach because they didn’t have one item. Tried to contact them by email & phone with no response. Very disappointed.
Nevermind about DKX you answered it 👍😉
Wait, what happened to the DKX company? I'm curious now.
Hey nutn, what ever happened to ribz front pack!? Can’t find them anywhere.
I think they ran out of business awhile back.
I’ve got the same coin in my pocket, next to the team coin.
