    In this video I teach you how to make your own LED RGB cloud ceiling light. I was just enjoying the RUclips algorithm when suddenly something caught my attention. It was one of those LED DIY TikTok CLOUD CEILING videos. It fascinated me, it intrigued me. So, I did some research and found out the best way that I could do this myself!
    Anyone can do this with the right DIY mindset.
    I love chilling in my room with this light on. It's bright enough that I don't even need my normal light anymore.

    Hey man, thanks for the vid! I do have a question tho, you mentioned that you used polyester (which you can find in blankets etc) but where did you find the polypropyleen? I'm also from Belgium and the only thing I can find in foamy form is the polyester from blankets. Please tell me so I won't rip every blanket that I can find in the house haha 🙃
    But again, nice vid! very helpful :)

    • @diycreative2078
      @diycreative2078  4 месяца назад

      Thanks for your comment! I found the polypropyleen inside pillows that I bought in the "Action". If you are from Flanders you will know that store for sure. 😁 They were super cheap, like 50 cent a pice. If i´m honest, you don´t really need it, you can do it with the polyester only. It will still look good. 😄 Good luck!

    • @diycreative2078

      Thanks! I have seen a grand total of zero spiders in the polyester. They simply are not attracted by it, so nothing to worry about! :) To clean it, is another issue. It has been up there for 9 months now and it still looks like new. So I wouldn't worry about that either to ;) It is worth doing!

      I would make a wooden frame and hang it on your ceiling with a few screws. You will have more work, but this way you can also staple clouds to the wooden frame you have made. :) If you are not allowed to drill holes in your ceiling, you can still make a wooden frame with the polyester on top, but then simply place it against a wall so that you do not have to drill holes.

    Hey bro... Would you mind me asking?
    I am from India and moving to our own flat, my concern is...
    1.Cloud shouldn't look ugly when lights are off
    2.In how much time will the light get not usable? After that ugly cloud removing in new house will cause me in trouble 😅
    3.How exactly to clean it and keep it safe from dirt and dust?
    4.Do you still have it?
    5.I have a basic false ceiling so can i make it or is it not possible now?
    6.Once it's completely unusable then how to remove it in such a way that the ceiling doesn't look ugly and no other work is required in it 😅
    Please reply to this *looooong queryyyyy*
    Thanks 👍🏻

    • @diycreative2078
      @diycreative2078  2 дня назад +1

      Hey, thanks for your message!
      1.To be completely honest, yes the clouds look a bit weird when the lights are off and it's just daytime. If you are home alone, this is not a problem. When visitors come, it is best to turn on the lights in the cloud so that they can immediately see the beautiful effect it has.
      2. If you buy high-quality LED lamps, they can (according to the manufacturer) continue to work for a very long time (up to 50,000 hours). I put a link to an amazon LED strip in the description, these are really good!
      3. I have had the clouds hanging in my desk for two years now and have never had to clean them, no spiders get in and I don't see any dust! So you shouldn't worry about this.
      4. Yes, for two years.
      5. As long as you can staple staples into your false ceiling, this should work.
      6. I can't answer that as I haven't done it myself yet :p I just think you'll have to be careful and take everything off in the reverse order of application.
