This album will always have a special place in my heart. When I was 16 my first vehicle was a beat to shit old minivan and the cd ejection didn't work so it was either this album or top 40 FM radio. I played it front to back countless times 🤘

Well done everyone. Trivium is by far my favorite band. I couldn't ever pick a favorite album. They have such amazing riffs and solos on every album.
Trivium was and continues to be my favorite band for essentially the argument you make in this video. Inspired me to play guitar @12 haven’t stopped.
Ascendancy is still one of, if not my absolute, favourite albums. This videos awesome, everyone did a killer job of these solos 🤘

@@jackharrisguitar Well I got most of the complex parts okay, but messed up simple slow bits(which is just typical for me). Literally about 2 seconds after you see me reach for the computer here I said "fucks sake!" because I wanted to nail everything hahah. Your picking hand is very clean dude, did a smashing job yourself.

This video just shows how epic an album Ascendancy is for the guitar-work. IMO I don’t think Trivium have ever gotten close to this level with any of their other albums since. This is definitely my favourite! \m/
In The Court of The Dragon is a must listen. If you want something Ascendancy-like, check Crisis of Revelation. Lots of nostalgia around the song.
Hey jaime great video. I love that you do these videos makes me nostalgic. I wanted to ask you. Obviously your a much more accomplished player then I'll ever be but what is your approach to learning different parts of songs. I'm sure alot of these songs you have practiced before but for the parts you dont know how do you break them down and commit them to your playing so quickly. Cause you put out alot of riff videos my dude. Anyways awesome playing to everyone on this video.
