Just put a high A instead of a low B then tune down to drop C like you would on a normal 6 string, I have two 7 strings, one with a low B and one with a high A

@@drewm5898 I think he means tuned to CGCFADA but that woupd be tuned down a step too right? so CGCFADG I think
@@Ethan84250 you tune the G string to F# to turn the guitar into B standard tuning. from there you tune the whole guitar up 1 and a half steps to get to D standard. then for drop C you just drop the lowest string half a step. so yeah CGCFADG is right.

My favorite Trivium riff which also happens to be my all-time favorite guitar riff is the pre chorus to Like Light to Flies. A close second is the opening riff to Rain.

One riff that always gets stuck in my head is The Wretchedness Inside by Trivium. It’s a killer riff that just never wants to get out of my head
If I ever put a guitar into drop D now it is ALWAYS that riff in Ascendancy by Trivium that always gets played over and over until I get used to that sound again, what a riff, when I saw the thumbnail I was hoping it would be! Congrats on the majesty’s too! Beautiful guitars!
