- Sankalpa Rural Development Society carried out this implementation of a bore well recharge system on a dried up bore well in Jaipur. This is an adaptation of our twin ring method - but using triple ring here. The process is described in detail in this video.

Very inovative , Exallent idea , can you please clarify, how water pass from 1st cement ring to the next, as the holes have been blocked, does it need to over flow, in that case water will be stagnant inside the 1st two cement rings . Kindly clarify
It filters down and from underneath the cement rings fills the cement rings surrounding the bore well.
Sir Instead of RCC Rings can we construct a ferro cement construction to reduce the cost.
You don't even need the RCC.rings imo because they are there for filtering only...you can just use the earth wall so long as you fill it will gravel, sand and HPDE paper and charcoal for filtration. Once the surface water is filtered channel it to your borehole
May i plz know what can we do If we get excess rainfall...how can we store that water and avoid flood and ultimately prevent crops to get ruined.
Just put BOREWELL like structure UPTO 50 feet depth in your farm low lying area, if u have budget constraints reduce the depth of the pipe accordingly like 10 /20 /30 40feet ,construct halffeet wall around the borewell, with a Jaali opening for water to flow into the pit, for the water to drain into the recharge structure. Tie a aqua mesh on the mouth of the perforated vertical pipe inserted into the ground with nylon rope so that sand does not flow into the bore. Please do it only on low lying area of your field. Depending on the budget u can insert 50 feet pipe or 100 OR 150 feet pipe., .
Depending on the area of the farmyou can construct one or two or as many as required .if ur farm is level then create a 4 feet by 4 feet low lying area at North east corner so that waternaturally flows there. Be careful to close the borewell on top with a dummy. Perforate the pvc pipe with drilling bit of 1 inch diameter around the pipe. For about 1 feet and tie aqualmesh around the holes so that mud particles don't enter the pipe. Google or search RUclips videos on RAINWATER HARVESTING in farms. Choose a model that suits you. Vary the length of the pipe inserted into the ground according to the budget, like 10/ 20 30/40/'50 UPTO 100 feet according to ur budget.
