I have an older version maybe 15 to 20 years old; works different. Looks similar. For mine, the diffuser baseboard vent lever must be open and down, NOT closed and up. Then, press down on the baseboard lever while pulling the front face panel forward toward you at the same time.
My instructions from Lowe’s with reliable said to reach up in there and just pull it out. I’ve cut my fingers twice trying that then watch your video and it came right apart but mine does not come with screws. I got ripped off I subscribed just because you’re the only person I know that figured this out.
My wife’s been giving me the blues about screwing these down and for the longest I couldn’t figure it out until now 😊. Thanks for the vid the Mrs will be happy!!!!
Our whole house the walls are revere pewter and the trim is white dove. I also painted our kitchen white dove using BM advanced with a Graco x5 airless
I just ripped up carpet and had to remove these baseboard vent covers. Im wondering if i should screw the new ones back down the plywood before the new carpet is installed or after?
Sadly i have a different type of defuser. The lever is connected to the back and is on the right side when looking at it. This one take the cover off the lever and push up on the front case. at times I had to use flatheads to get under and prop up. Dunno if there is an easier way for these ones but were still a pain.
