    Why would you have a Dry Powder extinguisher in an office?? Carbon Dioxide is better for office's. Here in the EU, to dispose of a fire extinguisher it first must be empty as you demonstrated but it must also have the valve removed.

    You do not need two kits to connect a track. You've optionally added a connector on the top of the rail; it's not necessary.

    • @homehackshowtos
      @homehackshowtos Месяц назад

      The track is not rigid with only 1. Yes it possible with one but for smooth operation without the saw catching while passing the seam you need 2. This makes it straight and it acts as one piece. I originally thought the same thing and only had 1.

    Thank you for the detailed video. I’m about to do this for 4-6 closets. Coverting from sliding doors to French doors and I’ve never installed French doors, nor do I even know if they’re going to be standard sizing since the house doors are at least 30 years old.. but they want solid wood doors like you have. @R-1. 3 месяца назад

      @@homehackshowtos actually I just popped them in and tightened it all up without any straight edge then before I made my first cut I double checked by running a string line from end to end. Needless to say there was no detectable slop! A little tip i learned when joining guide rails is to leave a very slight gap 0.5-1mm in between to allow for any inconsistency in the ends of the rails.

    Congrats, nice looking cabinetry. You might want to clarify: when you said the cost was $5k, to be clear, that is likely the cost of raw materials for the cabinets only (doesn't include appliances, tools, rerouting new utilities, fuel to the home stores, meals out b/c the kitchen is non-functional, paint and accessories, etc)? Did you install all the new utilities in the kitchen, and did all your appliances stay in the same location as the old appliances? I've done similar type work incl all utilities, but clarification for a total newbie viewer might be useful. Cheers.

    • @homehackshowtos
      @homehackshowtos 4 месяца назад

      Thanks for the feedback. That doesn’t count tools it’s just the wood, drawer slides and hardware, etc. for building the kitchen. I didn’t include appliances since I figured you would still have those same costs when building a kitchen where you hired it all out. this price was meant to give an estimate on if you fully DIY the cabinet construction and installation. Appliances probably were another 5K. I didn’t have to relocate any appliances or utilities. They were just minor adjustments to get things hooked up all was DIY wide and thankfully Home Depot is a mile down the road so gas costs were minimal. I bought most of my wood/sheet goods from a hardwood supplier so the quality was better and attractive prices. I hope that answers your question. Let me know if you have any other questions on how I did it.

They also removed some key Rodgod features like the secondary trigger to turn the tool light on. That rubber overmold did a job. It wpuld help keep a tool from slipping on inclined surfaces. The new smooth batteries slide all over the place. Yes, the rubber would start to pull off, but put a little glue under there. Definite noticeable drop in feature and quality.
