the tourque rating on all air ratchet is the maximum tourque you can apply "manually". This is based on the length of the wrench and the material used to make it. Composite body wrenches have a lower rating than all metal ones and the length of the wrench also plays in to it.
It has no impacting mechanism you have to use it like a normal ratchet, and then use the pneumatic part to speed up the process of taking it the rest of the way off. It won't bust the bolts for you.
Pretty much. I think I’m done with harbor freight. I think Husky is a good price point for me. I bought a siphon paint spray gun at HF. It was damaged so I returned it. Bought a similar husky one at Home Depot for a little more. The build quality was multiples better.
There's another central pneumatic 3/8 air wrench for $20.00 at HARBOR FREIGHT max torch at 75 lbs. I would go and swap that out. Kinda sounds like u are talking yourself to keep it.
Wow that stinks.i just bought myself one and should have known.oh well guess that’s another tool I lend out to a friend that forgets to return them or now my 10 yr old daughter has a new toy to play with .haha thanks for the video after this I learned before I buy any air tools from Harbor Freight to check reviews on here first.
You might be able to use your own strength to loosen the nut and then the ratchet to do the rest. The problem is that the wrench feels a bit weak so I could see something snapping if you manually loosened a tight nut with it.
Im sure I will find something to use it on.even if it’s like you said once I break the bolts free I can try it out.just disappointed it won’t even meet the specs Harbor Freight claims it can do.awhile ago I bought the 1/2inch Earthquake from them and I love it.tire changes are nice and easy and pretty much anyplace you can get it into makes the job nice.glad you posted a video about this mini ratchet will help allot of people that are just starting to use air tools.and who are looking to buy a air tool like this one.i had to subscribe.
MrProline727 I returned the mini and got their earthquake impact air ratchet. It puts out close to the specs in torque. I used it to change my brakes and it worked great.
Yeah maybe could turn the nut with the ratchet to break it loose but it doesn’t feel solid enough to do that. It’s about as good as using my fingers to loosen the nut.
Looking forward to the project you mentioned at the end!
What size compressor do you have ? The box’s says it need continuous 30 + Gallons

Agree but the torque it outputs is so weak it can’t even turn a bolt that my fingers could spin
Glad I watched this first. Junk but for the price maybe worth it
I use gear or engine oil in my air tools whatever I have lol I’ve never actually bought air tool oil ever
mikeaze423 glad to hear that works
Same with me i use used or clean 10w 30 engine oil or trans fluid
Tool review: go back to harbor freight and get your money back. 😂😂

@@homehackshowtos harbor freight is hit and miss. You do find amazing gems once in a while. I love my central pneumatic 1/2 impact
U did good on your review.

I ended up returning it and getting their impact ratchet. I think it cost a bit more than $20 but torque was around 75
Awwww it’s a little baby
Can someone tell me if it includes the air host connector with the tool?
Sorry I can’t remember if I had to add one
I just had to thumbs down the ratchet not the video. You get an A for even uploading this.
guess we never used it for an air motor
Still on the list of things I want to do :)
No way in hell did you use a torque wrench to loosen a bolt… made the whole opinion worthless
That’s why I rather have ingersoll rand
Haha yes you get what you pay for
