Big yes on the cleaner for cleaning the β mess β
I would love to see a full shower pan video! I'm about to convert a shuttle bus to an RV and I plan on building a shower with epoxy walls, and I'm still trying to figure out how to make a custom shower pan. But this video seems like a great answer.
Very well done about the 2 good news but I love the fact that you guys are thinking about the epoxy cleaning solution!!
use a kitchen strainer like you would use if you were sifting flour
Miss seeing Mike in these videos with you
That is pretty cool!! π Make it much better for the dogs!! π
Love when you do foam boards!!!
Yes . I am messy as well sometimes that would be amazing
Great video
At tuffco llc we onky dd special epoxy sand in 1000s of colors for non skid sirfsce restaurants, located in Mt Dora fl
Questions?π
1. What is the type of torch you use?
2. What is it called that looks like you put it on the end of an electric screw gun to mix and do you sell it?
3. Is it possible to sand an already existing shower wall and just paint the epoxy and maybe just add a little alcohol?
That was great... Can v use appoxy on marble tops for shiny surfaces
Where can I get the quartz grains? There isn't a link in the description.
Very nice β€
Love from India β€β€
I think it looks a lot nicer without the coating on top. The color and sparkle was great and did not come through after you coated it.
I feel the same way.les sand would have given a good nonslip surface without covering the best face of the epoxy
Can I put those panel on top of tile? I would love to try but I don't want to remove the tile
How is the recycling done and what is the climate impact compared to other types of installations. Also what temperature range is it durable too to prevent problems with thermal expansion in the joints. And will the thermal expansion create microcracks in the material where mold can grow. (Especially if the filler material is low cte and on the final costing?) Also will it last 20-40 years or more without yellowing due to uv or is this a bad product? How is the epoxy protected from scratching due to the stainless shower handle, if not is there a special shower head needed and which material is that?
I don't believe this is a good product but if you can answer all my questions then I think it might be cool.
Where did you get the quartz powder?
Hey, I have a question. I want to recote my hot tub. Do you have a product that would do well in an application like that where there are vertical surfaces? I was thinking the flake you did on this project Would go perfect on my hot tub.
Where do you get those quartz
Can we do same for chicago?
Greetings, gotta question, can you apply stone coat over marble, granite, ceramic tile? I found some irregular pieces dirt cheap, but not enough designs (marbleizing). Can I add to these materials?
Recycled Granite Upstate South Carolina collects it from their recycled granite products.
You could apply most epoxies to them. You need to grind off the sealer on it first, then use a primer
@@brandocommando4459 thank you

This panel is months old and staying strong! We've been walking all over it and it isn't wearing at all!
awesome dude . top notch I had a couple new ideas for some shower walls I'd like to show you and tell me what u think. I have 2 clients who want their shower walls down. But hey Mitch if you ever have time id like to discuss something with you . I believe you will very interested.
Yes big size please
Does Stonecote make a food grade epoxy that I can use to make cutting boards?
Check their website. I'm pretty sure I've heard them say that the top coat sealer they use on kitchen counters is food grade. I would *think* that you could use that on cutting boards. (Good on you for checking into that -- I get furious at all the "hey guys you can make a cutting board out of art resin dur hurrr" videos!)
What did the finish product look like?!
Sometimes a lot of talking not good cause we want to watch how it made straight away π
I wonder if you would ever consider ever having a gold dye? That way you could do a gold countertops, then add black and white lines, with the stick, or maybe another color, that would work with gold. You did it with , I think it was all black, with white lines, awhile ago, you did. It is an idea, as an experiment. Maybe you want to add bling to it. I don't want to do it on mine. I live in an apartment, and my landlord will not let us do anything. As I said, just use it as an experiment, just to see what it could look like
Please becareful with silica its very dangerous to breathe in. Here is why we use masks when messing with quartz.
The primary health risk is the inhalation of "respirable" particles smaller than 10 micrometers (about 1/2500th of an inch). Generally, the smaller the particles are, the greater hazard and potential injury to the lungs."
BREATHING the dust for long periods of time, causes silicosis where fibrosis of the lungs causes shortness of breath and can lead to death in severe cases. Overexposure to silica weakens the body039;s defense mechanisms. Its like putting tiny shards of glass in your lungs. Maybe few times wont kill ya but we are not going to find out how many times of breathing it, it takes. Just keeping yall safe.
Not exactly on point for what you titled this video. I, and I believe most viewers, were expecting a home human shower. I'll unsubscribe if this misleading practice. You've wasted my time!
